This is the second review
This is the second review, and the first time ever I have done a double review for a company, that reflects how poor I think Barbantia Top Spinners 40M are.
Yet again a crimp has come off a section of line, so we now have three sections that have failed. I did explain to customer support that this would happen, and they still will not honour the guarantee without a copy of the till receipt. So how long before the next line breaks?
Good customer service includes making what’s wrong right
Good customer service includes correcting things that go wrong. I contacted Jo Pursall at Brabantia to share my disappointment after an order could not be filled ( item out of stock). Jo was prompt and polite, in her responses and apologised/ explained had happened. She also resolved the issue quickly. The item was dispatched at no charge. Brilliant friendly customer service.

Excellent Customer Service
I rang Brabantia as a bin i purchased 4 years ago had developed a fault on the lid. I spoke to a lovely lady (sadly, i don’t recall her name) and without hesitation she said she would sent a replacement part out free of charge. She told me it would take between 3 to 5 working days to arrive, however after calling on them on the Thursday I was pleasantly surprised to receive the part on the saturday.

Delightful experience. Brabantia are most sustainable
My Brabantia bin originally belonged to my mother who died around 2008. I took her bin as it was the right size for my small kitchen and it has served me for many years. Once in a blue moon I clean the stainless steel with baby oil on kitchen roll and about a month ago the push lid hinge/spring broke. I was quite distressed as the bin was not only practical it was also sentimental. I contacted Brabantia to discover they make spare parts for all their products, are very helpful, the Company is B Corp and they believe in repair not replacement like so many other companies. I was delighted to buy a brand new bin lid, which seems a slightly different (although better designed) model and I would guess is easier to clean around the catch. If only they were a UK company, I would buy shares in them. All in all a delightful experience. There are many other companies that could learn from this model!
Brabantia 10L air fryer
We bought a brabantia 10L air fryer, the first one we exchange because the fan was touching the element and then the 2nd one, there is a screw missing in the tray holding the handles and the one plastic clip on the chrome trim is broken and now coming loose.
Appliance only one week old.
Poor built quality for something so expensive.

Excellent Customer Service
I recently contacted Brababtia Customer Service because I had an issue with my new stainless steel waste bin. Photographs and proof of purchase were requested and sent.
After sending the details requested, they promptly agreed to replace it. Due to the fact they no longer sell the waste bin I bought, they replaced it with their new model.
The Customer Service representative (Sasha) was quick to respond, very polite and professional and my complaint was settled very quickly and positively. Fantastic service.

A bit of a shot in the dark after we…
A bit of a shot in the dark after we had lost the cap off the post into which the washing line fits. We suspect wildlife had taken it out, and a few times previously it had been found in the garden. But, this time, no joy. Having tried several things to find something that would fit, without success I emailed Brabantia to enquire about a replacement. Honestly, I wasn't optimistic. BUT, within a day or so I received a sympathetic reply asking which model etc. from which they arranged for a replacement to be shipped to me and also provided a link to tell me how I might obtain another in the future if necessary. Well done Jo at Brabantia for excellent customer service; sadly so lacking in many areas today.

Replacement bin lid
I needed to purchase a replacement lid for my Brabantia bin and sent an email to their customer service as I wasn't quite sure which lid I needed to buy. Ruth replied immediately and was beyond helpful.

Extremely responsive and helpful. Knowledgeable regarding their parts for rotary dryer and great attitude and very pleasant.
Poor quality products
I bought a Brabantia washing line, thinking it would be good quality. The bracket that holds one of the arm supports broke from the wind. I contacted Brabantia with photos of the broken part, photos of their brand name on the product, a copy of the invoice and a video of the washing line moving freely despite being broken. All which they requested. Although still within guarantee, they would only offer me a 10% discount to rebuy the same product. I also requested their hoja de reclamaciones four times which they ignored. Terrible customer service and a product not fit for purpose. I also previously bought a Brabantia bin ,which the lid mechanism broke within a year and can see from the long list of complaints they have already received, that this is a common problem. Don't waste your money on Brabantia, expensive and poor quality!

Excellent warranty and customer service
We purchased a kitchen bin and although certainly not the cheapest, we felt that we were buying a quality product from a trusted and respected brand. Sadly just over 2 years an internal part failed which meant that the bin lid no-longer opened as it should via the foot pedal. I contacted customer service via email with proof of purchase, photos of the failed part and received a response a day or so later stating that a new bin would be sent out to me, free of charge, under warranty. Couldn't ask for more!
