We had a fantastic experience buying our Kona from Hyundai in St Albans and wanted to highlight the excellent service we received from Lewis Hughes.
Lewis was professional, friendly and completely pressure-free from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain all of the finance options so we felt comfortable and confident throughout the process.
There were a couple of minor scuffs on the wheels which he arranged to have sorted without hesitation, and he also organised for dash cams to be fitted for us. When we collected the car it had been immaculately valeted .
The whole experience was smooth, easy and genuinely enjoyable. If you’re considering a Hyundai, we would highly recommend asking for Lewis Hughes in St Albans.

First time to this site and it just looked chaotic. Service people moaning about how Customer Services have booked in too many cars and there was no spaces for incoming cars.
Cars parked everywhere and staff having to juggle and move cars constantly.
The Service chaps were friendly but looked stressed. Also I have booked my car in for a major service in May and was shocked that I have to.pay£30 for a loan car! Especially now as there is no where to go for Customers other than in the open waiting room!. At least with the St albans site people could go about doing things! I Hope the parking gets better there, before May otherwise I will have to go to the Dunstable site in future!.

We appreciate your honesty and I’m sorry that the site appeared chaotic on the day. As you may be aware, the run-up to the March plate change is one of our busiest periods of the year, which can put additional pressure on space and scheduling. That said, it’s important that this doesn’t negatively impact our customers’ experience, and we are actively reviewing how we manage vehicle flow and booking volumes during peak times.
I’m pleased to hear that our Service team were friendly, although I’m sorry if they appeared under pressure; we certainly want customers to feel confident and comfortable when visiting us.
Regarding the loan car charge, we now operate a structured courtesy vehicle system with a fixed fee to help cover insurance and running costs. We understand this is different from previous arrangements, and we appreciate that not everyone will welcome the change.
We are confident that the site will feel far more settled and organised outside of the seasonal peak, and we very much hope you’ll notice a positive difference when you return in May. Your feedback is valued and helps us improve.

Service was done a lot quicker than they told me so I’d arranged to be picked up and then they called after only 2hours was told wouldn’t be ready until way after 12 also when I picked up my car had not been cleaned this has always been done before so disappointing experience
