Brayleys cars Manchester

Have had 3 Nissan Qashqai from Brayleys Manchester which was Westway Nissan at the time. The last one about 3 years ago. A few weeks ago me and my wife got more then 10 phone calls, text and emails from Brayleys Manchester advertising a VIP weekend from 13 to 16 Aug. Special deals on cars for loyal customers & more then book price for your car. At first we wasn't going to go as the car i have has only 10000 miles , we ended up deciding to to see what Special deals they would offer. We went sunday 16th August for 1pm an appointment time which had been arranged. Before going I went Brayleys website and wrote down there advertised offer on cars that I liked. I also had my car valued on the AA &RAC apps which came back £17500 to 20200.On arrival on entering the show room as you walked in there was a small red carpet under a garden arch and a few blow up kids toys scattered around the show room no sandwiches, nothing like when I have been to VIP weekends when it was Westway Nissan. The car I ended up liking was Nissan Aryia Advance 87kWh Advertised on there website for £36961.27 . 1.99% APR customer deposit £4500 , Manufacturer's Deposit £1000 ,
£449pm (10 in stock). The price was below £37000 required to get band 1 of £1500 Government grant off electric car price.
They offered me £17000 for my car which was below what RAC & AA had said nothing like what they said about more then book price for VIP customers
The car that was advertised on there website as £36961.27 which I picked they came back with a price £45000,
£8000 more then advertised and over £650pm. I pointed out to them they are advertising this vehicle for just in £37000. The sales went away again and came back with the manager, i showed them there advert on my mobile phone the manager said the prices he has from Nissan was £45000 i told him it your advert at at £36961. I pointed out thats false advertising, He made out he didn't know were that advert came from a will find out what's going on and phone me tomorrow. We then left. When I got home I looked on Nissan website at there price for the car I had picked Nissan Aryia Advance 87KWh
£37500 , i then checked vehicle stock it came back 116 in stock around the county, all were 63 KWh battery size no 87KWh shown. I check on false advertising on google and what Brayleys are doing is bait advertising to get people into the showroom it said if you believe a car company are bait advertising you can report them to Motor Ombudsman and Trading Standards which i will be doing.
Avoid these con artists

Terrible slow service

Drove up from Guildford area to collect car. Noticed large dent on A pillar drivers side. The sales guy at Garage said know one had noticed. But well get it sorted next week if you take it now as planned. Over two weeks later and nothing. Have hassled many times been passed to many different people. Shocking service.

Service and MOT

Booked car in for service and MOT a month ago on the day at Nissan Manchester was told the ramp was out of action so couldn't do MOT! Should have been told this so I could have made alternative arrangements. Also no video of service was provided and car was not washed like it used to be. Been coming here for many years now and it seems to have gone down hill would not reccomend.

Poor After Care

Recently purchased a car. Badge missing to rear of car, told that was “ordered” and would be ready when I collected the car. This was not the case. I then noticed a crack in the sunvisor and a damaged parcel shelf. These parts were also ordered. I chased up the parts and got told to collect at the weekend. I travelled 45 mins to find out the badge wasn’t there and the wrong visor had been ordered. The parcel shelf was there. A quick call before to let me know parts hadn’t arrived could have saved me a wasted journey. I have tried to chase these parts up twice to be told I’d get a call back, I have also emailed asking for any update but no reply.
I also noticed my £100 deposit had not been taken off the final bill. I have also chased this up and was told it was going through accounts. This was almost 2 weeks ago. No money has arrived yet?
If only they was as quick as they was to message me a link to pay the deposit!!

Nissan Manchester

The response and service was excellent..
My vehicle broke down, was recovered by a breakdown company and I left it in the hands of this garage.. I was fully aware of the garage as I used to live in Manchester.. currently from Scotland..
They went over and beyond to resolve and fix the vehicle... I was hesitant as the nissan garage in Glasgow was terrible and I would avoid at all cost..
But nissan Manchester has given me the confidence to return.. my family still live around Manchester and ive decided to always book in with this garage, next time down or when needed its service..
Thank you service staff.. 5 stars..

I had visited 3 times still waiting for empty promises

I had visited 3 times to view and buy a car from Nissan. The first time was a pleasant experience the sales person was knowledgeable and friendly had arranged for a car to be delivered from another location. However this is where the issues began, on my second visit from that point the same sales person was never available and the in experienced sales person replaced him had no idea what he was doing didn’t fill me with confidence nothing that was promised was done had to repeatedly as for the same information and no work had been done on the vehicle and no service history was provided. I arranged for the vehicle to have work carried out to bring it to the standard promised several times. On the 3rd visit after I was told the work would be completed it was clear certain conditions were not met and even witnessed 2 sales staff try to push the wheel trim back onto the vehicle after telling me that they were taking it to the shop be repaired. Honestly it was a Micky Mouse operation didn’t have a clue what they were doing

Took my car for a new sat nav screen

Took my car for a new sat nav screen, what a great team they have at this ARDWICK service department. You couldn't ask for a friendlier, dealer, especially when they remember you, treat you with respect and plant trees instead of wasting water (my words) washing every car they service, kudos to BRAYLEY NISSAN ******

I purchase my 2025 Nissan x trail from…

I purchase my 2025 Nissan x trail from another dealership but after one week we had to call out RAC as the battery had gone flat and locked us in the car, RAC came recommended getting the car checked out and left the fault codes on the car so Nissan could investigate, to cut a long story short, they never investigated, claimed their was no fault codes, I showed the service guy the copy of the fault codes which the RAC sent me, he really didn't know what to say and then claimed the technician misunderstood him and their was fault codes on the car and that the technician had only worked for them for a week, even then they still didn't investigate, the guy had zero customer service, came out with ridiculous comments about why the car lost power and got caught out telling us their were no fault codes on the car when their was. I'm sure their are lots of good Brayley dealerships but I would'nt cross the threshold of the Ardwick dealership especially for repair.

Two Faulty Cars

Two Faulty Cars, Refused Refund & Left £900+ Out of Pocket AVOID"
I am writing this review in July 2026, delayed because I genuinely feared the second car would also break down — and I was right to be concerned.
In February 2026 I purchased a Mercedes A180 from Brayley's Nissa n Manchester. Within ONE DAY the engine overheated and a coolant warning appeared. I returned it within 6 days and formally requested a full refund. This was refused. I was also told a warranty claim had been submitted , I checked directly with the warranty company and no claim had ever been received.
For almost a month I was left without a vehicle, yet continued paying £280 in monthly finance AND car insurance on a car I could not drive. When I pushed for a refund, the sales manager was aggressive, dismissive and placed the blame entirely on me despite this being the dealership's fault from day one.
I was forced into a part exchange for an A250e not by choice but out of desperation and financial pressure. Because the dealership refused to process this as a straightforward refund and fresh purchase, I ended up with a £635.50 settlement shortfall added to my new finance agreement. Total money lost: £915.50 all of which could have been avoided had the dealership simply done the right thing from the start.
And the A250e? Delivered with a cracked windscreen and a bearing fault. Two consecutive faulty vehicles from the same dealership.

Think very carefully before buying from here. If something goes wrong, do not expect a fair or honest resolution.

I had an issue with my aircon, the staff were great and reassured me that they would fix the issue. Everything was explained to me by the technician in the video too and also the service staff. Thanks so much for fixing my car. I can always rely on Nissan and Brayley

We got our new car very quick

We got our new car very quick. My only issues were with getting insurance for the new car. The websites didn’t recognise the new car registration number. I ended up having to phone direct line instead of going through a comparison website. However it was cheaper doing it that way. We are very pleased with everything. A special thank you to Anthony for sorting everything out on the day we collected the car. He was a “gem” thanks for everything
