Bit of a learning curve but well worth the effort.
Difficult to set up B3 but it turned out to be a faulty machine that had to be returned. This was an easy process and the replacement was back with me within the week. The new machine once I'd set it up is a fantastic addition to my sound world. It works very well from the App on my Mac and uploading 2000 CDs from a USB didn't take very long. Tip - format the USB using the Brennan facility. I also found that using AI to guide me through the setup was invaluable (Perplexity)

I see we exchanged 21 emails with you and you mention in one email that some emails bounced.
We use gmail and I'm not aware of any problems with bounced emails. Sometimes an email will go to a spam folder at the customer end - but of course that's different.

B3+ NOT recommended
I just spent nearly £800 on a Brennan B3+ and I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with it. The controls for the unit are (of course) via an app, which is worse than useless. The only way to adjust basic functions like the Base & Treble output is by using a laptop and logging into the units IP address, also every time the unit is switched off you have to manually reconnect the bluetooth, absolutely ridiculous. There is no telephone contact for customer service and the online customer forum is full of patronising smart ar$e IT nerds. I would not recommend this company or the product, it is ridiculously non user friendly and the company have no interest in resolving issues or any sort of customer service function

Update - I checked the forum for any posts which might relate to you but found them to be very helpful and friendly and I found myself in agreement with all the sentiments expressed. I did also remind myself of the B3 tone control - its not a well known feature but it provides a ten channel graphic equaliser. in my opinion the web UI is a great way to display and adjust ten sliders - Martin

This is clearly the worst piece of hardware I have ever purchased. After ripping 8 CDs the system can no longer find titles for any further brand new discs I submit and furthermore there is a very high pitched sound coming from the unit which I absolutely cannot stand, therefore I have had to unplug it. The website has no link to contact the company directly, just go rounds for the knowledge base and self help. Why oh why did I wadte my money.

If you are using the B3 without speakers turn off the power amplifier. That will stop the noise.
Use Settings & Tools > Maintenance > Advanced > Disable Power amp

Not sure about your CDs - it depends how new they are. But can I suggest you upgrade your B3 use Settings & Tools > Maintenance > Web Upgrade
See how that behaves then you might want to try
Settings & Tools > Maintenance > Experimental Upgrade
This version of the software will give the best chance of matching newer CDs.
If you continue to have difficulties email us and we will try to find if the CD is actually in the Musicbrainz database.
Finally of course you can always return the B3 and get your money back. Just follow the instructions on this page

Excellent product. Delighted that I purchased it.
The Brennan an B3+ is just what I had been looking for. Ripping CDs and cataloguing them is so simple. The album art and track listing is effective, 120 CDs ripped so far and only 4 needed adjustment. This was easy with the Web UI tool.
The Brennan works well and I found it easy to set up and use. The startup guide is good to get you going. After that articles on the users forum are very useful. There seems to be a lot of help available there and is a good place to look for solutions if you need them.
The quality of the software and engineering that had gone into the B3+ is pleasing. My only wish would be that the rotary encoder was higher quality, however, it is satisfactory. The buttons have a nice tactile feel. The colour screen is lovely and very pleasing. CD drive is fast. The menu structures of the operating software are quite intuitive when you have studied them. And as previously mentioned the user forum I feel sure would swiftly help if any issues arise.
The additional outputs on the B3+ are useful to me as I use the Toslink optical output to connect to my TAGA hifi kit. This setup gives me pleasing audio output.

B3 does not require a high level of technical skills to use - no more than using a website to place an order or send an email. Everything is difficult when its unfamiliar.
There is no mention of a remote control anywhere on the B3 pages so I think you should have taken more care before placing the order - and more care of your JB7 - haha just kidding.
But as I wrote earlier you can return the B3 and get a refund - just follow the instructions here

Was resolved in a day.
I did had a problem to start with, but it was soon resolved by Martin. Full refund on two items order .which I will emphasise that Brennan B3 does not have a remote control, it uses a app from play store which is free, and the data base flash drive is also not required for the same model

Given my music a new lease of life
Excellent sound and easy to use, converted a dusty unused CD collection into something I can access and use. A shipping error (quickly resolved by Brennan) made delivery a couple of days late but that's it.
