Such lovely thoughtful staff, wonderful place!
I use crutches, whenever we booked the pool Grace made sure a shower chair was ready for me.

Our Comments:
The bed in the upper bedroom, made a terrible noise when getting in and out and the door upstairs was very noisy. This was the same two years ago and we were disappointed that it was just as bad.
The shower chair provided even with altering the foot plates our daughter could not reach them. when altering the footplates the adjustment parts were very rusty and were still to low.
The chair we hired for the lounge was very low to the floor and we were unable to use elephant feet so difficult to use the hoist we had with us. Not to happy with the look of the chair, looked old and faded in parts, also the the underneath was very dusty, we felt that perhaps the equipment (Shower Chair) (Hired Chair) was not maintained as it should be.
The Mop and bucket provided was dirty and the bucket broken, we bought our own.
Double room next to adapted bedroom did not have a mirror for our helpers to do their hair etc.
Some items were missing from the kitchen.
We loved the Bistro and the hot tub although the hot tub itself was starting to crack and the overhead rail looked like it was rusting.
It is very important for people looking after special needs people to get a good nights sleep so it would be good if the bed upstairs is dealt with.
The whole Concept of Brickhouse is wonderful and we loved the atmosphere around the lake and all staff were very friendly. The cottage has a wonderful layout and we love the decking area and the privacy around the Hot Tub. Even though I have mentioned some things that we weren't so happy with overall it was a wonderful holiday for us all.

Fabulous holiday at Brickhouse as usual. We were so lucky to have found this place a few years ago and have booked again for Christmas and Easter. Perfectly situated and the staff are so friendly and happy to help in any way. Would give more stars if possible

We really enjoyed our holiday with our client.
Walnut cottage was immaculately clean and has high end finishes compared to where we have been before.
The atmosphere around there was so quiet and relaxing.
The bistro was a lovely addition having a meal in there on quiz night and having food delivered to our cottage was ideal and very tasty.
Will definately go back again this was our third visit.

Amazing place to stay, all equipment you need for people with disabilities. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much for them. Lovely big spacious cottage with everything the people we supported needed. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely stay from willow cottage the 18 to 25 June

Second visit to brickhouse cottages, great stay, my husband is wheelchair dependant and the lodge is all set for his needs, which in turn make's things easier for me, we have already booked for next year, some of our family joined us for the weekend, they also love it, highly recommend

Hi we all had a fantastic time and how lovely been able to go somewhere with a hoist.The only mistake we made was getting an electric bed instead of one that goes up and down,but that was my fault,didn't realise.The only down side for us was having 2 beds fastened together instead of a proper double,as my husband complained he kept turning over and falling into the middle of the bed.Apart from that all lovely.

Wonderful place to stay, it's so relaxing. It's our 6th time at Brickhouse and absolutely love it. Fantastic set up for anyone with disabilities. Loved sitting on the deck over the lake watching the ducks. Staff are brilliant and cannot do enough for you.

Our third time at Brickhouse Farm. Cottage spotlessly clean as always but especially important with COVID-19. As a wheelchair user I find the facilities brilliant . Lots of thoughtful little things that really make a difference. We were blessed with great weather so didn’t move much and mostly stayed on site. The Bistro is so convenient with a good range of foods . Everything we had was great. Booked for next year!

Wonderful place nothing is too much trouble, all staff are friendly and helpful. The Bistro has a nice relaxed atmosphere, food is delicious. My husband is wheelchair bound and cannot always get near to the table however staff where happy to put blocks under the legs to higher it. We could order takeaway from the Bistro and staff were happy to deliver. This was our second visit and look forward to many more visits 😊

Absolutely fabulous, could not have asked for anything more , hot tub was brilliant hoist was there to use .friendly staff and the hydro pool is a must , Well run and just amazing.

Wonderful stay at Pine lodge, very beautiful, clean and spacious lodge, nothing could have improved it! Will definitely be back perhaps one with a hot tub next time, would highly recommend 👍👍

A really good break. Excellent facilities - clean and well-equipped cottage. Hydrotherapy pool nice and warm. Always good, well thought-out and well-prepared food at the Bistro.

Stayed at Brickhouse Farm numerous times now. Always have a fabulous stay. The accommodation is superb with all/most facilities for disabled people. All you need to do is ask..!
Staff are so friendly and will literally go that extra length for anything required. Will defiantly be back again and again..!!

Brickhouse farm cottages WOW ! there beautiful , cosy , everything thing you need is arranged so you have a worry free holiday .iv never had a holiday that’s been so stress free ever . It’s like home from home .
The children have freedom to scooter up and down to the park area where it’s safe to play and they look at the chickens , sheep , ducks and horses . The bistro serves great hot food to your cottage and fab puddings .we ate from there every evening for tea . The hydro pool is super , private and so easy to access the pool using the track calling hoist .
At night it’s so peaceful . We all enjoyed our holiday so much and all got great family time together in the open plan cottage .
We didn’t won’t to go home Iv booked 2 more times since as we loved it .The staff are so friendly and very welcoming and nothing is a problem . We can’t wait to go again such a treat .

as always its such a relaxing stay at brickhouse cottages , we will be back

This is our 3rd time staying at poplar, brickhouse Cottages and it just as beautiful and pleasant as the first stay if not better as this time we took our little baby boy with us too. Obviously due to the current covid situation we was slightly hesitant to go but I'm so glad we did. Social distancing was met, temperatures was taken and cleanliness was above standard. We felt so safe and comfortable. We always look forward to staying here as everyone is so friendly and the cottages are just equipped for everything we need. Thanks again for another fantastic stay.

First time we had stayed in Elm, and it was pure luxury! Five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two people, one week.
We did have a couple of issues with naughty thermostats, but these were quickly sorted.
Our first proper holiday this year, postponed from March (not due to Covid); I'm a keyworker so it was good to get away. We managed to get out and about despite the local lockdown, and even recommended the cotttages and Bistro to the hotel receptionist this morning!
