Very warm and cosy just what you need to relax recomendable

Very helpful staff, made sure our needs were met. Welcoming and couldn’t have done more for us. A very positive experience.

Disabled people are of paramount importance to the people who run these cottages, they are. Top class, and the staff and owners are the nicest people you could wish to meet and look after your every need.The location is excellent and close to so many top holiday towns.

What a find - brilliant- we are already booked in again. We were made to feel so welcome, the facilities are excellent. The shop selling glassware is a must - such beautiful things for sale.
The cottage had everything we needed and the hot tub was fantastic.... Can't wait to go back

The accommodation is fantastic, it had everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. The first year we stayed we said the only thing missing was a tumble dryer, when we returned for the next holiday they had one. Now looking forward to returning next year, with even more facilities on offer as well as much needed equipment that can be hired, all things to make our holiday easier with a disabled teenager. Nothing is to much for Sue or Erica. 😊😊😊

we have been twice now and would not hesitate to book again, fantastic spacious cottage which have everything you need with lovely friendly staff who are happy to help at the drop of a hat. these cottages would not disappoint.

Our little gang of ladies have gone to Brickhose cottages for the past three years and another retreat is booked for next year. We have been in two of the cottages and both are spotlessly clean and the amenities they have are second to none. Over our stays at Brickhouse Cottages we have suggested a couple of things and the next year they have put them in place, Which was a great help Thank you!! ....The staff are always very friendly and on hand when ever you require assesstance. All I can say is a big well done to Everyone at Brickhouse Cottages, Fabulous....See you next year... Yvonne Mellor

We had a great holiday. The location was beautiful, the cottage was lovely with a hot tub and a beautiful view over the lake. The location was not far from most of the tourist attractions in the area.
The cottage was well equipped with all the equipment we needed. We were a bit disappointed that there was no tumble dryer in the cottage, we had alot of washing due to our disabilities. There are tumble drying facilities on site, where you had to take your wet washing to a separate building and pay for it, our carer's didn't have the time to do that. We have stayed in other cottages and all of them had a tumble dryer. It's a bit of a shame for the price we paid for the holiday.

I think the cottages could be improved for a wheelchair user. You can not transfer to toilet as they are shoe horned up against a wall with a hideous square sink projecting out from the other side. I could go on and on but really cant be bothered. I suggest all owners of holiday lets spend a day in a wheel chair using there premises.

Have been here every jan for 4 years and will be back next jan ... coming again in April it’s peaceful friendly and everything you need is right here

More than met our expectations . We stayed in Hawthorne cottage last weekend. My son is profoundly disabled and has high care needs. That being said he had a great time at the cottage. We didn't go far but didn't need to. The lake and surroundings were lovely.
The cottage was totally accessible including the hot tub . Tracking hoist if needed, wet room, profiling bed. We paid extra for a comfy chair for my son to use and a shower trolley. Money well spent. The furnishings were just gorgeous, modern , good quality throughout.
The staff were friendly and professional.
Brick house cottages is the type of place built on the foundations of caring and love.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean and fresh with beautiful surroundings.

Unknown entity when booked. Have waxed lyrical since our visit. Recommended and left leaflets on our return to Chelmsford.

Love all the staff, although Erica was my initial contact. Nothing to much trouble. Would stay as an able bodied person - my husband enjoyed the stay especially the wheelchair access and the shower.

Beautiful place.. cottages are modern, spacious, clean, staff carnt do enough for you, relaxing hot tub.. that I don't want to get out of...fishing pond which my sons and partner love relaxing and catching a few fish. Peaceful country side location..but not far from Blackpool and all the local attractions.

We had a lovely relaxing break in a modern comfortable cottage.
