Bristol and Wessex Aeroplane Club Reviews

Wonderful club, bent over backwards to help us as my father lives in France and so wanted to fly over Bristol where we live and fly again as a retired pilot. Wonderful experience all round, highly recommend such a helpful and accomodating company.

One of the best experiences ever !! Highly recommend!!

Great pilots who are fantastic with our students, some of whom speak English as a second language. They are very keen to share their knowledge and professional at all times. We have given over 50 of our students a trial flight with the Bristol and Wessex Flying Club in two years and will continue to do so. I thoroughly recommend the Bristol and Wessex Flying Club.

Present for my wife. Absolutely fantastic staff and pilot she will going again very soon.

If you are paying hundreds of pounds per hour to learn something as complex and rewarding as flying, you want to choose a place like Bristol & Wessex, which is full of friendly professional instructors who are committed to teaching everyone to be all-round good pilots.

Bought a flying lesson/experience for my husbands birthday. We went last week and his lesson with Jonathan Cormack was brilliant! He had a great time and is already planning his next, the whole experience was incredible and and informative, nothing was to much trouble and the views over Weston -Super-Mare were amazing and he even experienced positive and negative G - he loved it!! Would recommend this experience to anyone.
The flight lounge is a great place to watch from with the added bonus of good food and friendly staff we stayed longer and enjoyed the lovely relaxed atmosphere. All in all , a fantastic day out,

Bought a flying lesson for my brother as a 40th birthday present. He loved it. Service was excellent. Loads of information. 5 stars.

The experience was very good. The trainer obviously knew his stuff and gave my son a very good lesson in the simulator.

On the downside, we were called in the morning and asked if we could change our slot from 2pm to 4pm. Luckily we were able to change. One of the pedals in the simulator wasn't working and the bar was closed when we finished so we couldn't get a drink.

I enjoyed my 1 hour lesson and can't wait to have another one

What a great flighing experience with Instructor Jonathan. Brilliant present. Flew across the Somerset levels across to Bridgewater, and back up the Bristol Channel and then over Avonmouth and Bristol before landing back at the airport. For a small extra fee, my wife Sue got to fly in the back and take photos. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a taste of flying!

I had a fantastic 30 minutes flying lesson with John today. Was very informative right from take off to landing. Very enjoyable, hope to be back soon.

Hubby received a flight experience as a Xmas present. I can honestly say was the best gift. Highly recommend to anyone either wanting a single flight experience or that wants to take it further. Pilots lovely and flight lounge cafe great!!

Thank you BWAC, and Leon. Josh had a fantastically awesome flight sim experience. He's still smiling and chatting about it an hour later (which for an introverted, 12 year old, is highly unusual).
I'm sure we will be back again.

Only went to plane watch. Sat outside, had a lovely lunch, with great views of the runway and aircraft. Would recommend this little gem of a place to anyone, even free parking!

Fantastic Flying centre, expert instructors and friendly staff.

Friendly and knowledgeable team. Will be going back!

Great friendly team. My 18 year old daughter enjoyed her flying experience.

Great location, great quality food and very friendly staff.

Fantastic helpful friendly staff and instructors feel at ease and looked after every time I visit.
