Cannot get new grill door ...no customer service
We have a broken grill door on our Britannia Dual fuel range cooker. Tried emailing twice...no reply. Tried ringing 3 times for 90 mins. Got cut off twice. 3rd time was told it was the wrong number and then got cut off. Still not managed to get any sense out of this frustrating
company. Still got oven with no grill door. Don't know what else to do as I can't speak to anyone at Britannia
9 year old 100cm dual fuel still going strong with no replacement parts
Looking at the negative reviews is quite is disheartening. I purchased a 100cm dual fuel oven in 2013. I had the gas range of the cooker converted to an LPG as Malta uses LPG bottles not natural gas.
The lights have gone which is to be expected. I use the oven and gas range on a daily basis. There are a few little hot spots in the oven but using an internal independent temperature gauge shows correct heat based on the temperature knob.
I honestly have not had any issues and this oven was shipped from the UK to Malta 9 years ago (coming on 10 years), and moved to 2 different homes and put into a normal garage storage for a 2 year period!
Maybe I got extremely lucky but I do not think so. It is genuinely well made with all stainless steel knobs and even after an uncovered 2 year garage storage and 9, nearly 10 years use there is no rust (a tiny bit on the cast iron gas grates but that's because I used a few times harsh stainless steel pads on them right at the beginning (without realising of course).
Everything is still original and aside from the lights everything works like from day 1 without any services as there is no Britannia in Malta. Even the rubber seals have not cracked.
I for one am very happy with it. I only gave it 4 stars not 5 because there are a couple of hot spots (which many brands have anyway).
I expect another 3-5 years use before I see any issues appearing which is a good time for an expensive cooker (works out at about 75 pence per day).
Health check is a rip-off and terrible customer service
I booked a health check for almost £300 thinking it was an actual service, and mentioned the one thing I needed was a replacement oven bulb which I’d been unable to unscrew myself. The man came, turned on the burners, turned on the ovens AND THAT WAS IT. He had no spare bulbs so all he did was swap the one working bulb from the small oven to the large oven. He promised he would send two bulbs free of charge for me to fix myself, but three weeks later and they have not arrived. Impossible to talk to anyone. Absolute rip-off and terrible customer service. Not happy, would give no stars if possible ☹️

ZERO stars
ZERO stars. Booked service and repair. 6 weeks later and still nothing achieved. Had 2 service visits by a very rude employee who turned up and then abruptly left without doing anything. Another service visit didn't show up and now waiting for 4th visit who hasn't arrived. Called and waited 17 minutes for them to answer the phone and have been told the service visit is delayed by another day. Still waiting.

Dear Debbie and Mollie
Dear Debbie and Mollie, If you are real people I amy mystified as to why you so loyally endure a litany of discontent posted about Britannia's dreadful products and are the obliged to issue bogus platitudes of regret and sympathy. Please, please look for more rewarding and satisfying employment. Life's too short to have to endure and deal with profoundly angry, frustrated and disappointed customers. There is life beyond Britannia - honest.

I am leaving a 4 star review now
I am leaving a 4 star review now, following two 1 star reviews that I gave previously. Having waited for 1 year and 3 months my repair has finally been successfully completed. I am really grateful to one particular person in the Customer Experience Team at GDCA who took my case on, communicated with me consistently and made sure the job finally got done. Thank you.

Well again what a useless organisation…
Well again what a useless organisation obviously don't investigate complaints just send a pointless response and hope you go away

if i could give minus stars i would,
if i could give minus stars i would,
this companies customer service is absolutely appalling and whatsmore they dont seem to care booked an engineer paid for the call out gave my serial number and ordered spares for the engineer to bring with him he came with none of these carefully explained details
i was assured that the spares were available. The engineer
spent 15 minutes looking at the appliance and making phone calls then said its obsolete ""we cant get the spares buy a new one its £3700 ????""

One star for the small oven...
I suppose one star is OK considering the small oven still works, but the main oven stopped working and we were told by Brittania that the problem was due to the clock unit (who even uses the clock unit?) and there was nothing they could do about it. Its their oven and they can't repair it.
Now we're stuck with an oven that doesn't work and apparently no way to fix it.
Oh, also the oven door doesn't close so even if the oven did work it wouldn't be much. Thanks Britannia, 2000 pounds spent for a dud cooker.

Disgraceful customer service and support by Britannia
Arranged for a service for my Britannia cooker which took place on 12 October 2021. The engineer said that the main oven needed two new hinges which he duly replaced and I paid for. The docket makes clear that this work is guaranteed for 12 months from date of repaid. Well on 5 January 2022 it looks like one of those hinges has failed and the door cannot open properly so the oven is out of use. Been ringing Britannia on 6/01; On 7/01 rang at 4.45 pm to say lines closed and look for opening times on website, which I did. It says open Mon - Fri 9 - 5pm and Sat 8.30 - 2pm. This meant lines closed early on Friday 7th. Rang Sat morning 8/01 to get the same message lines closed and to check website. This message is both inaccurate and rude! Anyway, current situation is this is now Mon 9 January and I have now been holding on the phone for nearly an hour with no answer. Fully intend to hold on as long as it takes and am keeping a record of calls and will report to trading standarts if necessary. My service repair work is covered by this company and it is not acceptable that I cannot get through to report the failure and to book a free repair. We have now been without our main oven for 5 days - no idea how long this is going to take to be resolved. Will not be using again - this service is disgraceful.

Operating Instructions
I have a Britannia cooker model Delphi Pro 60 DF STA. The fan-forced stopped working after 2 years and we have always had problems shutting the drawer. We have avoided calling for a repair because the call-out cost is £250, minimum. I have tried to find the Owners Manual online, but it only appears to be mentioned in the FAQs at the bottom of the page, and then, when I click on Operating Instructions, it takes me back to the original webpage. So, I am frustrated. Of course, no one is manning the phones during the Festive Period. Britannia's response to this review was as poor as the product. The issue with the drawer was a design fault, which I half-remedied by butchering the rear of the cooker.

Do not touch Britannia Products
I Purchased a Britannia Qline 900 induction range cooker in October clock went wrong after 3 weeks which prevents the oven from working emailed Britannia customer services never had a response to this day then given a customer services number by the supplier which just rang out, the supplier got us an engineer appointment for Monday 20th December no time given he turned up around 2.30pm looked at the cooker and said he knew what part he needed he would be back Wednesday 22nd or Thursday 23rd December, 5 o’clock this evening I have had a text saying the part is out of stock no date for delivery, I wished I had read the trust pilot reviews before buying as I never would have.
Customer service is non existent they should not be in business high prices for sub standard product.

Faulty new range and poor service
Really disappointed in my new range. One large oven (on the right hand) was shorting the circuit when switched on ie received faulty. Engineer has just left - the element is broken and needs to be replaced.
This is not a repair of an item I have been using. It is brand new!
But apparently I am in the queue with all other repair jobs.
I have 25 people coming for dinner in three days, and I’m hosting Christmas.
How can it be acceptable to receive a new piece of equipment that is not ready to plug and play??
Now waiting for a call back from “customer service” but only one contact number and no other way of getting in touch.
At this stage would not recommend this product

in the words of Diana Ross "I'm still waiting"
Booked a service for my Britannia range cooker.
Paid nearly £500 for this. One of the hinges that had been replaced has failed and we are still awaiting the repair to ignite the hobs as the part is out of stock.
To be fair to the telephone team they are courteous and polite, but the fact is I have paid out over £500 and not really in any better position.
Bought a range cooker with induction…
Bought a range cooker with induction hood in 2019, first induction plate broke within a year, they were unable to get the correct spare part for months and so eventually the shop we bought it from replaced the entire cooker with their display model and now after the exact period of time the second induction plate has broken. I am now into my 3rd week of calling to try to get an engineer to come and fix and haven’t even had a call from them to book appointment! Frankly I’m appalled and would never recommend this brand to anyone. I would now like my money back so I can go somewhere else. If not I will have no choice but to contact the Office of Fair Trading!! Please stay clear if Britannia at all costs!! They are rubbish!!

Absolutely appalling customer service
Absolutely appalling customer service. Can't get through on phone, I tried yesterday, held on for 45 minutes, then pressed 1 for callback, never happened. Been hanging on for 40 minutes now, still no response. Been waiting for them to fix my cooker hood since August. Appointment system is ridiculous, you have to speak to someone who can't make the appointment, they send you a text with a date on (no time) and if you can't make it you call a number that still can't make the appointment, and they send you another text with another date, goes round in circles all the time because you can't speak directly to the person who can make the appointment. They have taken money up front for a repair that they can't make, apparently, because the spare part they have sent (twice now, exactly the same part) isn't the right one. Considering how much money we paid for a range cooker and the corresponding cooker hood, really expected first class customer service - sadly, customer service from this company is non existent. I just want my money back.

We bought a new Britannia range cooker…
We bought a new Britannia range cooker during the 1st lockdown. We've already had an engineer out to fix the oven and for some time now one of the hob rings hasn't worked. I called the customer care team today at 16.06 to book an engineer. A recorded message asked me to stay on the line and said that I would be answered by the next available agent. At 17.06, after an hour of waiting on the line, they disconnected the call. As the centre closes at 5pm I was unable to call again. Wonder how long I'll have to wait when I call tomorrow. Or indeed if they'll answer. They manufacture far from cheap cookers so I'd expect better service.

Poor quality and appalling after sales service…
Since the company changed ownership cookers very poor. Our cooker is 5 years old. First one delivered had to be replaced as main oven kept tripping house power supply. Installers seemed clue
Ed’s when installing it. Replacement oven is ok but now an oven element has failed and it is impossible to get parts. Britannia service wants to charge £180 to come and look
We also had a cooker hood fail in same timescale and parts were unobtainable.
Buy something else
