Worst customer service and compliance…

Worst customer service and compliance team I have ever encountered. I used to buy alot from them before brexit which it was fairly ok, although whatever was the issue, they were always right and get away with the suppose 'warranty'. This year I tried to apply again since last April, emailed them many times to check whenever they are going to accept my app, replying back "your application is still in progress, we will be in contact as soon as possible", but till this day no one contacted me or re-opened my account

Extortionate fees from a greedy deluded company.
No wonder their profits have crashed and will continue to do so.
There are plenty of better far cheaper auctions out there.

Unprofessional and rude

The management is unprofessional and do not provide proper support or guidance to their employees. Overall, it was a toxic work environment and I would not recommend working for them.

What a complete joke of a company

What a complete joke of a company. Bought a 2019 Range Rover online with a clean assured report. Picked the vehicle up a few days later and as soon as I drove away the suspension light popped up and it sat to the floor. Managed to get it back home and emailed BCA. One week later I received a reply with instructions on how to proceed with a claim. After sending them all the evidence they tell me that suspension is not covered by the assured report. How do they seriously get away with this.

Terrible grading and refusal to accept…

Terrible grading and refusal to accept responsibility. They give all green checks, yet the car ends up with a broken engine. They always excuse it as a "static check," even when the issues are obvious. It’s clear they are ripping traders off

Bad drivers

Bca in Isherwood road Manchester I park near here regularly and I see bca drivers with trade plates on driving customer cars like they stole on the road spinning the wheels I’d never use or buy if this company I’ve reported it to bca on many occasions but like allways they don’t care

BEWARE would not recommend Bca Glasgow they are editing the car pictures before selling the car

I purchased a car from Bca Glasgow but when I went to collect it, the car had two further panels scuffed and damaged but these were not visible at the time of when I bidded on the car. I presented the initial pictures of the car to the manager and they acknowledged there was no damage to the carin the pictures bca had used to showcase the car but said it would not change the grading system on the car as it was a grade 4 car so refused to pay anything or refund anything to me and I had driven all the way to Glasgow from yorkshire. There ignorant responsecwas that I got the car cheap and I should stomach the damage. I am certain they are editing and fabricating the pictures of the cars when we view them before the sale. I have both pictures of the same car before it was sold and then the damage of the car when the car was being collected. The damage is world's apart.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM BCA if you need…

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM BCA if you need it delivered by them - they do not guarantee delivery in the time frame that they quote (10 working days) - this apparently is only a guide and delivery could take much, much longer than this (if at all). And once your car is in the delivery system you CANNOT then make alternative collection arrangements. AND you cannot get a refund even if you ask them to cancel the delivery before receiving it. I learnt this the hard way. They will delivery the vehicle when it suits them, they do not give firm delivery dates, nor will they contact you prior to delivery ( I was told they can't call you on the delivery date to confirm ETA) - so you will have to wait on the day of the scheduled delivery (as I did 4 times) only to find out at the end of the day that the delivery was rescheduled.

I purchased a car on 29/4/24 and made a complete payment on that day for the car and for for delivery, and I am still waiting for delivery - we are now on the 11th working day from date of purchase, and I have been given a scheduled delivery date of 16/5/24 (13 working days form payment date)- this actually means nothing because I was given 4 other scheduled delivery dates last week and delivery did not happen on those dates.

The customer services team are lovely but pathetic and have no direct access to the transport team, so they cannot give you any useful information about delivery. You can make a complaint by sending an email to customer services, but they don't acknowledge your email and apparently they have around 50,000 emails to go through (so I was told by Laura their customer services rep) so it is unlikely that your complaint will see the light of day. Don't expect to be able to speak to a manger, nor can you expect to be able to contact anyone other than customer services. This has been my experience so far.

I don't usually buy from BCA because of lots of bad reviews, I took a risk on this occasion thinking that they might have improved their standards... only to be burnt!

Don't do it! I know you're tempted! But save your money and buy elsewhere. They don't care about small traders. That would be my advice based on my experience.

How BCA are conning the…

How BCA are conning the Traders, especially with the Motorhomes, you bid, they bid you up off the wall, overpriced, you buy and when you reject because they dont show all the real damage,ie water ingress, body damge, they force you to pay and or relist on your own name or be suspended, once you relist on your own name the onis is yours, the next person to reject it, you take the loss, continously till its sold, meanwhile the big players like a finance company's who put it in the auction get full payment and you get stung, BCA reputation is being hit hard because of Dodgy Motorhome sales they are holding, still out on Finance may I add, using this tactic,Take the suspension dont let them rule over you, there is plenty other autions out there, AVOID AVOID AVOID

1 star is kind

If there was an option for 1 star then I would give it. Dealing with BCA was incredibly frustrating, time wasting and disappointing.

Through no fault of our own, a BCA delivery driver drove into our parked vehicle and quickly fled the scene after seeing the damage he caused. The car was subsequently written off. Thankfully we could identify BCA on the side of the vehicle so tried contacting them - they did not engage in providing the driver’s information and on multiple occasions hung up the phone when questioned about this. After a far too long period, they finally accepted responsibility but then refused providing any adequate compensation and have also failed to explain why their driver was down a residential road. Abysmal.

Probably The Worst Company In Europe.

BCA Claim to be the Largest Auction Company In Europe, they should change it to the Worst Company In The World, they charge astronomical ball busting Fees when buying or selling cars, please read the small print because nothing is covered at all, they will wriggle out of every situation, if you work for BCA, I must say you really are the lowest of the low, I have been a Loyal customer of 25 Years and they really could not give a damn, I lost my partner of 38 years, and became depressed and my business suffered in the mix with lockdown etc. Bca have zero compassion and Zero people skills, My life has now turned around, i have a new £5 million business and we are absolutely flying. But at my time of need, these snakes were of no use. Beware!

The great BCA SCAM.

The great BCA SCAM.

I have spoken to many many traders, so this can be backed up, they just put cars on accounts when no one has even bid on them. Then threaten you with closing your account or you have to pay a admin fee and cost of difference when relisting. The level of incompetence from those working is beyond unbelievable. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Need a class action lawsuit!!

Seriously unbelievable this is even a legal business. Trading standards should be all over it. Three cars in a row I buy "Approved" with no lights etc. Approved cars from We Buy Any Car. All three have had major issues in excess of £2,000, with one having the light turn on WHILST STILL IN BCA! VERY obvious they are turning off lights, etc!! No matter what you do, how hard a fuss you kick up, etc they will have some term, agreement or clause that gets them out of it. Absolute criminals and anybody working for them to help facilitate such a disgusting practice should be equally ashamed. Claims managers who are happy to shaft you with £2,000-£3,000 problems when you're paying CAP clean for a car that is advertised as without faults. The arrogance of them too, it's like they enjoy how much they screw you. Every trader should get together and file a class action lawsuit against this monopoly. Unbelievable WBAC, BCA and Cinch owned by the same people and all three businesses make a killing whilst traders and Joe Public get screwed at every angle. I cannot stress how much you should avoid BCA!!!

Worst customer service I've had in years

Car Finance lease ended and for reasons only know to themselves, Mercedes still use BCA for their collections. Inspection happened as arranged 10am. Hadn't been told until that point that the collection happened separately (never been that way before). Chased 5 times through out the day and every day since. 1 week later the car is still sat outside our office. No calls returned, no response from the complaints department, no emails replied to. Unbelievably appalling - I cant see how, having seen these reviews, they are still trading

Unfortunately cannot give a 0 star…

Unfortunately cannot give a 0 star rating, DO NOT work for this company, they expect you to travel between jobs on your own time and pay a pittance to collect and deliver their vehicles, prime example: left home at 10am travel time to job 3 hours, time spent inspecting and collecting vehicle 1.5hrs drive time back home 1.5 hrs, next morning delivery 2 hrs, total payment £20 ( also had to pay out of own pocket in advance the train fare to collect car and while it is refundable why should you have to pay) so total hours spent 8 = £2.50 per hour, minus their equipment charge (stuff they provide for you to inspect the car) and insurance to drive their vehicles (£11 per week) then of course any and tax or N.I. contributions you are liable for as self employed driver. How they expect anyone to work for them is beyond me, worst company i have had the misfortune to work for. BE WARNED do NOT work for this lot

Having spent around £70k at the British car auctions recently, I can safely say that they are really bad. I am well aware that cars often go to block for a reason, however BCA reports, charges and service is nothing short of appalling. Absolute rip off.
