Utterly useless

If I could give less then I would!
My car was leased with VWFS but BCA were tasked with the arrangements once the lease finished. After deciding to keep the car my options were to purchase the car or refinance through BCA. I asked for a finance quote and the extortionate interest rate over 5 years was enough to make me look elsewhere for finance options. During the decision time i was hounded by phone calls emails and even a threatening letter demanding I tell them what my plans were despite me telling them numerous times using their links and over the phone that I was in the process of buying the car. One letter demanded I arranged, within 48 hours of a set date, the collection of the car or they would take legal action. I arranged this just to shut them up.
I then purchased the car, got confirmation and hoped that was that.
A week later I get a phone call, someone is on their way to inspect my car for collection. I tell them it’s not needed as I own the car.
An hour later I get another phone call from someone outside my house ready to collect the car. Again, I tell them I own the car so don't take it. The collection guy even said it’s typical of BCA badly organised. The following Monday phone calls asking about the status of my car, I return the calls to say I’ve bought the car.
To sum up, ignorant rude staff on the phone (apart from collection guy who was great) badly organised shambles.

SCAM. Have been buying cars for the last 4/5…

Have been buying cars for the last 4/5 years from this BCA and get worse and worse. When you are bidding online the bidding never ending looks like someone boosting the price up for purpose, after bidding is over saying sold next day the car is back in the action???? SCAM.

PURE SCAM: Please Run!

"I have purchased three cars from this company, all of which were advertised as being Grade 3, but unfortunately, each one was found to be faulty. The last car I bought was a Skoda Fabia 06 Reg, with only 23,000 miles on it, and although I paid over £3,000 for it, it was not even able to drive smoothly from the auction site. I strongly believe that these vehicles were not meant to be sold and should have been scrapped instead. The company deceives unsuspecting traders into bidding for them, which is why they choose to remain online and avoid showing the cars in person before the sale. This is a pure scam, and I urge you not to waste your hard-earned money on such unreliable vehicles." When you contact them they tell you they can not do anything about it.

we are regular customers of bca have had some terrible experiences with them. most recently bought a £9000 car which was dead gearbox after 20 miles. spent £500 on recovery finally after 1 month bca picked up car and refunded us most of the money. wont refund the recovery and wont refund bca assured fee. overall bca are scammers and have always been scammers problem is they are so big noone can stop them. just hope one day karma will bite them massively one day

5th car in a row that I've bought is not described accurately. Serious faults with all from head gasket to clutches. I won't be buying ever again from BCA. Their loss when they lose customers but they dont care at all, time to move to another profession as there is too many cheats and liars

WORST EVER EXPERIENCE

WORST EVER EXPERIENCE
First time on BCA WEBSITE Mistakenly pressed on BID thinking I was going to view an online bidding and to my suprise I received in seconds a message and invoice for £15,000 , called and explained there must be a mistake , apparently I pressed BID on a BUY NOW product funny it didn’t say BUY NOW , still thought they would understand being a potential customer and the first time on the site plus as they confirmed it was a BUY NOW product so no other bidders , don’t be silly they held my feet to the fire despite me pleading with them , as I was not intending to spent this amount the only option left to me was to put it into an auction sale. ( NOT A BUY NOW SALE ) assuring me that the car will sell at close to the price I mistakenly obtained by me so took a risk , sent me a £1700 bill.
These people are crooks and it’s not going to end well , they will leave a trail of destruction when the bubble bursts ,

Despicable company

Firstly just to clear something up for car traders looking to buy and sell, this is not an auction. It’s like a man dealership in terms of pricing without the test drive. Appraisals are false, fees are comically high. It’s just a conveyer belt of pure greed. Hopefully it goes out of business before too long once the we buy any scrap model fails, can’t wait for the day. Avoid like the plague, except BCA is worser than the plague.

Very good experi nice with BCA and professional staff

I had a trade dealing with BCA and I must say the person I dealt with was extremely professional, red-tape busting, decisive and helpful. This was my first experience with the car auctions company and I will definitely be recommending and using them again. The back office senior staff seem very knowledgeable and professional.

Do Not Trust BCA

If I could give a score of zero I would. The service I received from BCA was hands down the worst I have ever experienced. I purchased a car from BCA, I paid an extortionate buyers fee and then another fee for delivery. I was told the car was due to be delivered on 17th November according to the BCA App, so I took the day off to receive it so I could be there to inspect the car. The car didn't show up and no one contacted me. I tried to re-arrange a convenient delivery day but they could only deliver when I was away on business, so I had to get a family member to receive the car in my absence. I returned on Saturday 25th November to discover the car has been damaged since I purchased the the car on the online auction. I sent photos of the damage and I have a video from my security camera showing the car being delivered with the damage visible, but I just got a simple email to say I missed the 24 hour grading window so they are unable to help. I am now left with a car that I cannot sell and needs over a £1000 spending on it to fix the damage. It is not even drivable in it's current state. You'd have more luck buying a car from a Nigerian Prince than from BCA!

Think They are Above the Law

All I can say is avoid British Car Auctions like the plague as there are serious serious issues with their operation which they are fully aware of and they have no interest in resolving customer issues, they simply try to bully customers to do what they want by threatening them. Then when you try to make a complaint they simply ignore email after email and no one ever calls you back.
The absolute worst auction company out there, use G3 or Manheim instead.

There is any option to put a big ZERO…

There is any option to put a big ZERO means i can do that. We recently bought some cars from bca with clean essentials. On the day of collection while we checked the car I realised that they are the day robbers. Cars with warning and major problems hidden from the customers and cheating everyone with clean report. Please guys don’t believe them with reports even for assured cars. For assured cars they will try maximum to cancel the claim if they already know that the car have issues. I don’t understand why they are cheating their customers like this. We know most of the traders and they stopped purchasing vehicles from bca. We have enough proofs for the car we purchased and what we seen on the day of collection. ESPECIALLY BCA BIRMINGHAM BCA THURLEIGH BCA CRAWLEY.
