This my second jacket from the company, and it is great. Gary made me a short version and it fits like a glove. Good value for a jacket that will last a lifetime, feels luxurious.

Really good quality items (flying jacket and helmet). Shipping process slow (UK Royal Mail), but fortunately it was not urgent.

I recently purchased a B-3 jacket from British Sheepskin Company. Purchasing a jacket of this type is an investment and purchasing a jacket like this, sight unseen could be risky. Jo was my point of contact and a few emails and some measurements later I purchased the jacket. After I received it I did a through inspection and the jacket is flawless and the fit is perfect. This company takes pride in their work and it shows. If you want a jacket of this type, you can trust this company.

Well, having read some of the other reviews I’m not sure what I can add. The vast majority are so very complimentary, but exactly right. This is a very special, and quite exceptional, bespoke product made by a small, niche manufacturer. Although not inexpensive (mine is heirloom status) this is perhaps the finest article of clothing I’ve ever owned. It’s ironic that a classic item of functional workwear should achieve such iconic status using a simple material used to keep humans warm for thousands of years. I bought it for its warmth (you simply cannot get anything better). As for style, well that is always subjective, but in my case it’s way too good for me. Gary was hugely helpful, throughout and a trip to their workshop/factory was a revelation. My “Gunner” jacket came with a discreet “Union Jack”. This is British artisan craftsmanship at its best. Exceptional! Thank you.

I searched the internet for an authentic style flying jacket and eventually found this company which I duly visited as I wanted to make sure it was what I was looking for and, if ordered, to get the right size.
I met Gary who was very helpful and I placed an order.
Delivery took quite a few weeks but when I emailed a couple of times to check progress I got a response straight away - no problem.
When my jacket arrived I was more than impressed.
The quality of the leather and fleece is excellent, really thick yet supple and incredibly warm and comfortable. The stitching is perfect with no faults or loose threads anywhere and all the seams and finishing is really neat, looks very good.
The jacket also fits really well, I am 6 foot slim and about 80kg so chose a 38" for a close fit and the fit is perfect. The sleeves are long enough that they can be turned up for a free wrist or down to cover the top of your hands. The body of the jacket is a nice fit down to the waist with no bagginess and the zip (YKK) and buckles are nice and sturdy. The collar has a nice backing material and in fact all of the finishing is really very nice.
I would definitely recommend buying from this company, very satisfied!

I was a little apprehensive before my jacket arrived as I had ordered it in line and wasn’t sure about sizing.
The jacket is perfect and fits really well. Worth noting that the waist has adjustable straps so can accommodate different body shapes. Materials are of the highest quality and really soft

This is a review for the aged flying jacket I have wanted one for years and thought my birthday this year was right time so I ordered it and it arrived on my birthday I am more than pleased with it the quality is first rate and the fit is perfect. Initially ordered a L but it was a bit larger but the company were very helpful, I sent it back and received a Medium.

This is the warmest jacket I have ever worn, it’s very well made, with a nice substantial weight so you know from the beginning it will be seriously warm!

The price is not high if you consider the quality of the material and the craftsmanship. Highly recommended!!

Just received my RAF flying jacket. Superb quality jacket and is as close to an original ww2 jacket as you could ask for. Fits great and really looks the part. Bought it to wear on my Motyo Guzzi cafe racer and can’t wait to try it out

I have been wanting to buy a flying jacket for many years but never found the right feeling for a company to feel like I needed to complete my purchase (a present from my wife). Finding a British company was a deciding factor in choosing them. I have received my jacket and I am pleased to say that it is everything that i have wanted in a flying jacket. It is superbly made. I also from that wanted a pair of sheepskin mitts made of the same material and they have duly obliged. It will not be the last purchase that I will make. Thank you so much Gary and Joe.

Amazing. The attention to detail is above and beyond. There’s not a loose stitch or a hanging stitch anywhere. This is a custom jacket with off the rack pricing. Fits like a glove, and couldn’t be more happy

Although I had to wait longer than I hoped for the gloves, this was explained by prompt customer service who explained it was already beyond the cut-off date for Christmas making & delivering. However, when they arrived, the gloves were just FANTASTIC (I ordered the Toscana cuffed gloves). They were well-made and warm and cosy with fleece on the inside and have been keeping me SO WARM during these cold months. They're not cheap but they're worth the money and I would not be without them now. I'm now switching allegiance from the company with a similar name who I assume are their direct competitors. The British Sheepskin company make superior gloves, and that's all there is to it. I'm a happy customer and got great customer service.

I ordered a pair of gloves for my husband's Christmas present - which was supposedly processed by 17th December Christmas posting deadline. They didn't arrive and I contacted the company- and they left it to Christmas Eve to reply and said won't be posting until 4th January. Information on website was truly misleading and had to buy another present at v short notice. I've asked to cancel my order which I hope they will do promptly when they reopen.

Wonderful!!!! Just had the most beautiful Toscana Florence Sheepskin jacket delivered, Christmas present from husband. Worried about fit etc. it is perfect, created by a Craftsman, light and beautiful, coulden't be more delighted, absolutely lovely colour and send very great thanks to the maker!!!!! May have taken a while for it to be delivered, but more than 100% worth it!!!! Thank you again from Anna Miles (and husband!)

I made arrangements to go and visit this company as I wanted a bespoke flying jacket that actually fits. I needed a 52”+ with longer sleeves to ride my bike. I already have a genuine 1943 and a replica from another company that no longer fit. I travelled the three hours on November 22nd and met with Gary who did my measurements. He also agreed to make me two flying hats.....one for me and a small one for my grandson....Really nice people. Two and a half weeks later I got the call saying they were ready. Amazing. He was willing to post them but I decided on another day out to collect them. All I can say is everything is perfect.....he picked out a fantastic skin and made me the bespoke jacket and hats........really thick and very soft skin.

I’m not sure why there are negative reviews as Ive had excellent communication via e mail and telephone from Gary and Jo.....I got a bespoke jacket in under three weeks during busy winter months.......quality is excellent.......and worth every penny for a one off, exact copy, quality RAF heavy duty jacket.

Gary and his team make to order so generally there’s a turn around time.......but if you want quality product that will last a lifetime there’s only one choice.....buy from these guys.....you won’t be disappointed...

I ordered a gilet with details of exactly long I wanted it and how I wanted it to fit around me— a truly customized item. The customer service couldn’t have been more responsive or friendlier and the gilet I received is beautiful to look at and beautifully made!
