I ordered sheepskin mittens in August. The 19th. Confirmation email money taken but no mittens. No explanation. No response to emails. No answer to phone calls. Customers beware!

I bought the sheepskin flying jacket. The quality of the material and the craftsmanship are both first class - I couldn't have hoped for any better!
The jacket was a birthday present so had a delivery deadline. when there were issues with the supply of sheepskins, there was a risk that the jacket wold arrive late. To make sure that it arrived on time, Gary delivered it personally - a 150-mile round trip!

The women's mule skippers are great. Sizing is correct. The sole is rubber so no slipping on wooden floor issues. I wanted to buy a British product without using Amazon, took a bit more time but I think it is a good idea.

A bit slow, but brilliant work at a competitive price. Just like any very busy small company it's sometimes a bit difficult to get work done quickly as they're all running around at full tilt - but your patience will be rewarded with a great product built by a real craftsman.

My husband was very happy with his ebony merino gloves keeping his hands warm on his walks during these very cold days. I recommended them to my friend who suffers from very cold hands and she ordered some tonight. They were of very good quality lovely and soft inside and out. I have now decided to order myself a pair.

I was looking to buy a sheepskin hat and stumbled across this website. Looking at the website I really liked what I saw. I bought the McGrath ebony hat which arrived in the 7-10 days specified. It arrived just in time for the snow. I have had quite a few compliments. The quality and workmanship was impressive., I bought another one for my best friend.

I've had such a good experience. Initially the mittens I ordered were slightly small, and when I contacted British Sheepskin I was offered a bespoke hand made set as an exchange. The bespoke set arrived and I couldn't be happier. The mittens themselves are amazing quality, look great and are so warm. Friendly communication throughout and I would recommend without hesitation. If only all companies were like this. Many, many thanks.

I recently purchase several items from British Sheepskin, a Flying Biggles Helmet, a B2 Flying Hat and a Gunners Jacket. I am in the USA and had never purchased anything overseas and Jo couldn't have been more helpful. Everything was made to fit my measurements and what I received from them exceeded my expectations. The best way to describe their workmanship is Heirloom quality. Thank you British Sheepskin!!

Ordered the flying hat B2 on Boxing day and it arrived today 6th Jan, wore it to take the dog for a walk, very warm and a good fit.

My wife ordered 'Snugs Sheepskin Slippers' on the 22nd of November 2020. We have not received them, nor had a refund. We have made a number of telephone calls asking what had happened to the slippers as we still have not received them. One month later and despite the fact the owner saying he would send a replacement pair (twice!) we still have not received the slippers. It's not as if the postage is free or included, we've paid in advance for that also. We were considering purchasing coats prior to ordering the slippers - not any more, why would we based upon this experience? we probably wouldn't receive them also. So far, no slippers and no refund.

The WW2 flying jacket we have just received from Gary at the British Sheepskin Company is amazing. The jacket looks like it's just come out from a Spitfire without the smell of aviation fuel!! It fits like a glove. I couldn't be more pleased. They are lovely people to deal with and a pleasent experience all round. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Well what can I say, a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I was worried about ordering the wrong size as I have before from a different maker but Gary was great and even let me go down to his lovely workshop and try a few sizes on before I made my choice. I was totally overwhelmed that I had met the maker of my new flying jacket. You will not find a better Quality sheepskin jacket anywhere. The only thing about the whole experience which annoyed me is that I can only wear it in my bedroom at the moment with the air conditioning on as its August and we have a heatwave going on !!!!!!!!

I just received my sheepskin jacket from The British Sheepskin Company.
I must say that the craftsmanship is absolutely amazing. The leather is soft and supple, the wool is extraordinary, and the fit is spot on. I recommend Jo and Gary, and their company to anyone who wished to have a beautiful jacket like the one I just purchased. The attention to detail from the inception of placing my order, to the attention of tracking and the excellent communication I have had from them.

Well worth the money, actually, they should charge much more.
The quality exceeds Aero and Eastman.

I phoned to place an order for the Toscana Shearling Mittens as I needed them for a trip to Iceland. The chap I spoke to was absolutely fantastic, he took the details from me and assured e they would be made and posted out in time. Sure enough they were with me within a couple of days. They are amazing and I absolutely love them ! Fabulous quality and lovely and warm and just what I needed. I would definitely recommend British Sheepskin !

I called the Sheepskin company a few days before Christmas and Gary was so helpful and made the Jacket I asked for in time for Christmas and my partner was so happy with it ! I will be using them again it is so nice to find a family run business and the quality is 2nd to none !!

This is a great company I brought a sheepskin flying jacket from them it's just beautiful excellent quality . Gary is a lovely guy to deal with he goes the extra mile to help you very friendly. Iam planning to buy another flying jacket from Gary soon different colour and style.. Buy with confidence. Iam dreading the summer because it will be to hot to wear my beautiful jacket.

I had been searching for a sheepskin duffle coat for my husband and happened upon the British Sheepskin Company.
From my very first contact with Gary and Jo they could not have been more helpful and charming.
They showed endless patience in sending me skin samples to enable me to select the colour and discussing sizes and fit.
I felt the process could not have been better until I received the coat this morning and I realised that it had got better because the coat is absolutely beautiful!
It has far exceeded my expectations- the quality and workmanship is superb and at such a competitive price.
I have absolutely no hesitation I recommending the British Sheepskin Company- it is simply superb.

I ordered a Russian style hat in Slate (Grey) from the website and received a hat in Brown/beige. I complained and was told that the hat I'd received was the "new slate". I said that I'd never seen a brown slate but was fobbed off with woffle and offered a refund as the colour advertised on the website was unavailable. I kept the hat because I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of returns and it was a perfect fit and very warm.
Against my better judgement, I then ordered a pair of gloves. Lovely gloves but within 2 weeks the stitching burst. Buyer beware !

My Partner and I made the road trip to Somerset to visit Gary and his wonderful hands on workshop. We always enjoy his friendly manner, and it is a pleasure to be in his warm company.

We have already purchased a flying jacket a year ago and we're extremely pleased with the attention to detail and expertise in craft.

We were returning for a Toscana Full Length Sheepskin Coat.
Immediately we benefited from his expert eye with cutting design suggestions, to suit my personal frame and size.

Gary went the Extra Mile ! A bespoke pattern had to be created, due to the extra length, the Toscana skins were sourced in an amazing pace, and the careful selection for quality and colour match was beautifully made.

It all felt effortless on my part, as his knowledgeable thought made everything feel very comfortable.
Amazingly created in two day just for our connivence!

The Coat is Exquisite!! Stunning!! Right down to the pockets that were made with Toscana Sheepskin as well, that was an unexpected welcomed touch.
