Brilliant company
We regulary use British Ceramic Tiles for our tiling needs. The range and quality on offer is second to none, with excellent pricing. We deal with Saf directly, and as a bespoke interiors company, he understands our needs and never fails to deliver. There is nothing more we could ask of them, and will continue to use them, as well as recommend them for the foreseeable future.

Highly recommend! 5*
From the moment I walked in, Saf went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. His knowledge, patience, and has an eye for design made the whole process so much easier!
British Ceramic’s selection of tiles was absolutely amazing—so many options to choose from! They even managed to source exceptional full tile slabs from Spain that look incredible!
Saf took the time to understand my vision and offered expert guidance that made all the difference. I left feeling confident and excited about my project. Highly recommend!

Speedy & helpful
I ordered some tiles from this company with great trepidation given the reviews. However they were the only suppliers in the UK.
I have been very pleasantly surprised - ordered on the evening of Friday 5/7; delivery arrived on the Tuesday 9/7.
One of the boxes was missing a tile so emailed at 10pm on the 9/7; received an email the following day apologising and the missing tile today.
I cannot comment on other's issues my the level of service that I have experienced has been great.

AVOID
Ordered replacement tiles, had an email chain, and invoice sent. I made payment, and then a few hours later received a generic email that order was cancelled. Sent multiple emails to chase this and then finally told they were out of stock. I've had to send proof of payment in order to receive a refund, which is yet to come.
They also have other names for the company (eg. Tiles Direct)
Edit: over a month has past and refund has yet to be received.

Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service, I emailed to ask about some tiles in our bathroom in a house we recently bought because I need some more. The response was 'where did you get these tiles from?'
If I knew where they were from I wouldn't have asked, I replied asking them for more info and now no response.
I certainly wouldn't buy their tiles again and I'm not surprised they went bust once, then next time is round the corner if they can't even answer a simple email.

We had great service despite the fact that they seemed to be short staffed. The tiles are of great quality and when we needed a few more they arrived on time so that we could get our bathroom finished as planned.

difficult customer service
non responsive customer service and takes ages to get to them. multiple emails and calls (hours trying to get, wait 10 min ringing only for call to end).
When you finally get on the phone, the CS representative was VERY RUDE and literally do not give a 2 cents about your or your situation.

No Customer Service
Have endeavoured to contact the company using the contact form and ringing numbers on their website at several different times. No response at all or facility to leave a voicemail message. I wanted to check measurements of a tile as the calculations they show appear to be incorrect. Glad I have not ordered as customer service is important and have lack of confidence in the company to help as a customer.

Noob Error?!
I placed an order with this company without looking at the reviews (noob error!). The website instantly said DISPATCHED yet no confirmation email for delivery or the courier tasked with the delivery came through... I actually wanted a faster delivery as I had builders on site so I called the numbers on the website - No answer on the customer helpline or any of the 5 or 6 locations listed on the website... alarm bells ringing I checked Companies House and then came here to read all the issues people have gone through over the past couple of years... my heart sank. I desperately started looking for other suppliers for similar tiles HOWEVER I did send an email too to the support team for this company and was surprised to receive a response within the hour. They assured me that the tiles would be delivered and I would be notified as soon as they were with the courier. Still not fully convinced I emailed daily as to where my tiles were and when they would be received and continued to receive prompt informative replies each time until within a week of placing the order my tiles were received, as promised and undamaged! I do not discount the many reviews and experiences of the customers before me and thinking I was in a similar situation for a while can empathise with what they went through. But from my experience with this company over the last week I believe they are trying to turn this around. Just email them don't bother calling!

Carrara Matt marble effect…
Bought the Carrara Matt marble effect tiles for bathroom floor.
Firstly a number of the tiles arrived broken very poorly packaged.
Secondly a number of the tiles had blue pen numbers written all over them and when I phoned up the response was to try and clean it off, poor customer service.
Thirdly nothing on the website states that these tiles require a sealant to be applied which several professional tillers have advised us to do.
Fourt issue is they just aren’t a practice floor tile they are so rough that you just can’t clean them and anything even dust marks them.
A terrible purchase and bad experience with this company had cost us dearly having had to completely retire our bathroom after just 8 months.

Rubbish
I over ordered, in case of errors in my calculations, as the website suggested returns were easy - when I eventually managed to contact them (phone went unanswered for days & the email address was undeliverable) they refused to help me arrange collection of £250 worth tiles. Rubbish customer service. I will not use this company again

Just what I wanted thanks
Just what I wanted thanks. Only needed a few tiles to replace some that had previously been damaged near where I had a new boiler fitted.
I had looked many places online and in local stores but struggled to find what I needed to do the job correctly.
After a few frustrating weeks I decided to email a few businesses online in order to see if they had or could obtain the tiles I required. As I only needed a small quantity most replies I got (when I did get a response as some companies didnt reply at all) were not very helpful.
Luckily a friend at work recommended British ceramic tile and I emailed them . I got a very nice reply, from a friendly lady and the company went on to source the tiles I needed. It was very impressive service given that my order was only quite small. So this company I feel are extremely reliable and helpful and I will certainly use again if needed.
Excellent service and delivery
Excellent service and delivery. Will use again if needed.
Negative reviews? Not my experience at all...
I ordered from this company without checking the reviews. I have to admit, I checked them after ordering and started to worry. However, I have to say my experience has been amazing. Delivery of my tiles arrived in only 3 days from ordering and the tiles were EXTREMELY well packaged (and beautiful). Unfortunately, mistakes happen and there were a couple of chipped tiles. Anyone who's ordered tiles before knows that's quite common, so I emailed them with some photos and they replied that they would send replacements ASAP, which they did and they arrived only 2 days after initial delivery. Fantastic customer service in my eyes and a faultless online shopping experience.
Credit Where Credits Due
I can't deny that I have had some of the same issues described by other people on here, however, I felt I needed to add my overall experience which in the end had a positive outcome.
I ordered some tiles from their website on the 26th of October. On the morning of the 1st of November I received a text saying that the order had been delivered, however, when I got to the location where the order was being delivered to there was nothing there. I contacted the delivery company and was told that the order had been damaged and so the sender had requested it to be returned to them and that I would need to contact the sender to find out when I could expect to receive a replacement.
It is here where things went awry. I tried calling all the numbers on their website and as has been stated by many people I never was able to get through to speak to someone. In the end, I decided to send a message using the contact form on their website and I sent the same message via email to the email address listed on the contact page. To my surprise about 2 hours later I received a reply to the contact form I submitted on their website and was told that a replacement order would be sent on a next day delivery for the 3rd of November as I had missed the next day window for that day.
As I write this review on the 3rd of November I am happy to say that I have received the full replacement order as promised and everything went very smoothly on the day. I even received a text before the delivery was due with an ETA and tracking link so I could keep an eye on its progress.
So while I can understand some of the frustrations voiced by many people on here, I seem to be one of the lucky ones. I would also say that apart from the issue with trying to get a hold of someone by phone, in the end, I was able to find another way to get in touch with them and they were able to resolve my issue in a very satisfactory manner and I have to give them credit for that.
Be very wary of this company
Be very wary of this company. Website wording and reference to 'British Ceramic Tile' implies they are affiliated or connected to the insolvent British tile manufacturer 'British Ceramic Tiles' A little research will show different. This is NOT a British tile manufacturer.....
