Ordered a number of tile samples but they did not arrive. Have phoned/messaged the company but no reply at all.
AVOID - they are scammers and you will be pouring money down the drain if you place an order with them. I just wish I’d seen the negative reviews before placing my order!

Absolutely terrible!
The worst shopping experience I have ever had! After paying a ridiculously high delivery charge two of the tiles arrived damaged. After nearly two months of chasing them they still have not sent out replacements. Avoid at all costs!

Why are they still trading?
Ordered one tile to do a colour match. Was then going to put in order for tiles for 2 bathrooms. Thank goodness I waited as the completely wrong tile was sent and no further response from BCT after loads of chasing- Nothing!
Paid £10 for the wrong tile and lots of annoyance.
There is something wrong with this company...They should not be allowed to be trading.
DO NOT USE THEM!

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid........
Also having problems with this company. They sent the wrong tiles as the ones I originally ordered were discontinued. Didn’t ask if I was prepared to accept an alternative!!! Also some were broken. I sent emails with photos - no response. I’ve managed to get them to answer the phone twice out of countless phone calls and was promised a refund which hasn’t been forthcoming. Can’t get through by phone at all now and no response whatsoever to emails. Customer service is appalling..........To be honest I’m beginning to think the Company is having problems!!!!
Sue
UPDATE: I have since received a voicemail from the company saying that If I contact them they will sort out my issue and could I redact my negative review. Guess what! After at least ten calls to the number they called me from I still haven’t been able to get them to answer the phone. It rings for ages then cuts off!! Still no response to my emails.

WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS DREADFUL COMPANY
Customer service is nonexistent. Emails go unanswered. Telephone numbers are unobtainable. I ordered a specific number of tile packs as calculated by their web site. Should have been 13 tiles per pack. When they were delivered, only 9 tiles per pack. When I eventually got some response, all I got was lame excuses and broken promises. Avoid this company and any associated company at all costs.

Wrong tiles sent-no response
I ordered a box of tiles to replace broken ones which I want to fix. All of the images on their website match my tile design and my tiles have the BCT stamp on the bottom.
After paying £40 for delivery for 1 box of tiles they have sent the wrong design.
I have called their sales line, trade line messaged via FB and Instagram and emailed from my account and their contact form.
I can not get through to them.
Now I am £60 down with a box of tiles that are blocking my hallway.
No idea what to do.
I just want the tiles I ordered which you have about 6 images of all the same, for this particular tile.
Stressing my out-terrible

Placed an online order 9 days ago
Placed an online order 9 days ago. Got a confirmation email. Then nothing. Emailed - no answer. Been calling all the numbers on the website, all dead except one which just rings and rings.
Yes, difficult times but no excuses - take an order and respond to client enquiries about their order. I would not do business with this company. I assume they have gone out of business. Or they deserve too with this treatment of clients.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! The customer service is shocking. They will mess up your order and then refuse to take responsibility, ultimately leaving you out of pocket.
The customer service is non-existent. emailing them does nothing. The number for HQ doesn't actually exist.
They will read your facebook messages and not reply for weeks on end and then promise to resolve your issue, but then ignore you again.
I am still waiting for a callback after they assured me next day delivery when we had a tiler booked in, only to send the product 3 days later. we had to then use different tiles to make use of our tiler (who was fully booked for weeks) and they want to charge me to pick them back up again.
they will place blame on anybody else but themselves.
Learn from my mistake and the other negative reviews here and go somewhere else. The fact that so many are calling them fraudulent is a red flag and I don't know how they are still in business.

If it's not a scam they're impressively incompetent…
Got to concur with the other recent reviewers that this is looking increasingly like a scam.
Starting this thread from late 2019 and reading till now is to stumble upon a sad little tragedy in British manufacturing history. Nearly all 1 star reviews this year, and yet it still gets 4 stars on Trustpilot from before it apparently went into receivership and changed hands. Surely you could do something about that Trustpilot?
My story is that I ordered some samples, the full tiles appeared, the chips did not. I had tried repeatedly to ring them over several days, never got through (though it makes a sound that could be mistaken for engaged when you've actually been connected, so maybe they're getting income from that?)
I emailed repeatedly with questions about a specification issue I couldn't find info for on the website, these were ignored. I finally got a reply when I mentioned the missing chips, which included a totally factually inaccurate statement about tile manufacture.
I figured under covid people can be under all sorts of pressure, so I persisted.
The person who replied said they'd put the chips in the post after the weekend if they didn't appear. I told them they hadn't. They never appeared. Like a mug I ordered a further two full tiles (I was chasing a deadline), these came, and I wanted one. But having been previously burned I looked to purchase from a different company. Found two other sites that stocked it with equally poor reviews, only to read here that it seems they are all collectively owned by an outfit who regularly take peoples money and don't provide goods and services as described. (those individual company reviews are either one star or five, with someone asserting that he was offered his money back if he'd change the 1 star to a 5 star...)
Just a bit depressing really.

Do not buy from this company!
I paid £112 for tiles and delivery. I had no confirmation of purchase so emailed customer services (the phone was never, NEVER answered). I did get a reply and was told the tiles were out of stock. I then emailed several times requesting a refund but had no response (same when contacting them on social media too).
I’d paid via PayPal so opened a case against the company through them. To the best of my knowledge the company didn’t respond to PayPal either. PayPal found in my favour and issued a refund.
From reading recent reviews it’s clear my experience isn’t uncommon and I really would advise you avoid this company.

Awful company do NOT order from them
Awful company do NOT order from them. I ordered 3 boxes of tiles and paid £39 delivery only to be sent 3 individual tiles in bubble wrap! They do not answer the phone or answer emails. On further investigation I found out they run under 3 different companies called dantotsu.co.uk, tilesdirect.com and this one British ceramic tiles. They are all linked under different limited company and have ripped off lots of people not just us. Do NOT use this company they are frauds

No tiles NO REFUND!!!!
Ordered tiles despite a shocking £39 delivery charge for 5 sheets of mosaic tiles. No dispatch notice in over a week. Customer Services finally tell me they are out of stock and ask if I want a refund. After confirming that I did - nothing. Starting charge back claim on my credit card. Avoid these sham artists - they should be shut down.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Ordered 11 samples, which each cost more than the individual tiles, but I had to pay the extra because of the delivery charges. 11 samples plus delivery was over £30.
The package arrived - all tiles lumped together with no packaging between them. The entire thing wrapped in bubble wrap....but no cardboard box. I could tell immediately that the tiles were all clanking against each other. Delivery cost me £5.99.
Of the 11 tiles, 2 were chipped, 3 were covered in glue, 5 were stained and 2 were completely missing from the package. If this was the best quality tiles to entice me to place my full order, I dread to think what state the tiles in an actual order would have been like!
I’m now being completely ignored by the company, so believe that the entire thing is a scam. Reporting to trading standards.

Unable to reach Customer Service team due to partial delivery - disappointing!
Update 1 July: I've been contacted by the Sales team at BCT and they have promptly responded to the below so I have re-reviewed this post.
What remains outstanding is a contactable number / email on the BCT website.
----------------------
22 June: I ordered some really lovely tiles on 16 Jun and I have received a partial delivery of these items for my bathroom.
Since then I've tried emailing the Customer Care / Customer Services email, left a message on the website and called their number but have not been successful if getting through at all. This is very disappointing as we are waiting for these tiles and am currently left with not enough tiles to tile the bathroom and no means to contact somebody to resolve the issue.

Absolutely shocking company
Absolutely shocking company, I ordered 166 Mr Jones Tiles and when they arrived they all have defects, the boxes all have the same Batch number and time so have been produced at the same time but no Quality Control.
I have had no choice but to do a charge back via my bank to get my money back!
You cannot get in touch via the telephone and the customer service via email is appalling, no wonder this company ceased trading last year and has just opened back up again, I think it's a 1 way road to failure once again!!
Yes obviously I sent pictures to Tiles Direct and yourselves. I was told you it had nothing to do with you even though you produced the tiles!
By the way, British Ceramic Tiles, Tiles Direct, Tile Enterprise and Al Murad Tiles all belong to the same company!!
Avoid all of the above companies!!

They're back in business
They're back in business!
I ordered online from a search on Pinterest for black and white ceramic tiles on Saturday. I then saw the news they'd gone into administration earlier in 2019 and was worried I'd never see them, but no, they're trading again, and I can't be more pleased. I already have my tiles as of 8:35am today.

No tiles after three weeks and still waiting
It has been three weeks since I placed my order and I haven’t yet received it, or any update to let me know it has been dispatched. British Ceramic
Tiles has chased me twice to review their service (via Trustpilot) and I thought I’d hold off until I received my tiles. However, tonight when I went online to see if I could check my order status, the britishceramictile.com website isn’t loading at all. So, no tiles after three weeks and the website is down... I honestly can’t say I recommend purchasing from this company.
