Great customer service, easy to use website, excellent product quality, pricing fair.

the ordering easy and delivery was within the expected time frame

making up was straightforward and using chair which is more comfortable that the unity it replaced

Ordered and paid for three office chairs which were listed as available. Four days later we were told the listing had been a mistake and they weren't available after all. However the refund was dealt with promptly.

The speed of delivery and how quickly they responded to a faulty part was very impressive. I would highly recommend using British Chairs and we will be using them again on our next office order.

Excellent service and very pleased with my chair

Pleased with the chair so far, but when the dispatch notification came through, it was dispatched directly from a company called Eliza Tinsley, who are the actual manufacturers of these chairs. A quick google later found that Eliza Tinsley have an Amazon store, selling an identical chair to my new purchase (identical product code too), for £30 less than the 'sale' price on British Chairs website.

Given it was shipped to me direct from the manufacturer, this feels extremely dishonest.

Save yourself money and buy direct.

I don’t normally write reviews but British Chairs deserves one. The chair I purchased was a leather computer chair for £129 which is an excellent chair for the money and other similar ones on the internet are more than double the price. I had one problem where one of the sleeves had been stitched wrong at the manufacturer. I rang British chairs and the next day it was delivered with no hassle. Great service!

Prompt delivery .good product and straight forward assembly.

The whole experience was effortless - It arrived Well Backed and was simple to assemble. Delivery as expected. Would Cheerfully use them again.

Chair difficult to assemble (I'm no novice but I could see it would cause problems for may people).

Was impressed, when I was phoned the day after placing my order to be told that there was to be a delay in my order, because my colour choice had sold out and different options were given. However, I stuck with my original choice (blue Westminster) and it arrived well in time for my son's 17th birthday and we had a companionable time putting it together (the construction toys have paid off!) and he is very pleased with his new computer chair!

Good product on a very good discounted price. Good service and prompt delivery. Everything as should be. A real pleasure to deal with this kind of company. Others may take lessons for the future from this company on how to be of service. Well done British Chairs !

Great recovery

Sadly my chair arm covers arrived damaged, and they immediately sent out replacements. It's not always perfect that matters, but how someone responds when things go wrong.

I am reviewing the chair I recently purchased, not the supplier, whom I really cannot fault. The chair in question is a ‘WESTMINSTER Designer Leather Executive Office Chair’, it is well made and relatively easy to assemble; the only tricky bit is securing the bolts which hold the seat and back in place via the metal arm rests. TIP: don't tighten the bolts until they're all located; leaving them slack will allow some wiggle room to align the back and seat. Why only 3*? Well, it may be me but it's my opinion that the lumber support cushion in the seat back is too low; it locates against the top of my pelvic bone which is not affording support to my lumbar region and I am currently having some back pain possibly as a consequence. I do like the chair and my solution to this is to get a cushion. The chair has hydraulic lift and lower, it also tilts into a reclining position, this function may be locked off if you don't want to use it.
