The idea is nice. But they do tiny 7g packs of tea and claim that to be enough to make more than 10 cups of tea (for comparison, Fortum & Mason say that 50g makes about 15 cups). Also, we were given... See more

The idea is nice but it's scam
The idea is nice. But they do tiny 7g packs of tea and claim that to be enough to make more than 10 cups of tea (for comparison, Fortum & Mason say that 50g makes about 15 cups). Also, we were given a 3-month subscription as a gift back in April and have only received 1 month worth of these tiny packs. It's awkward every time our friends come around and we don't want to tell them that we don't have their gifted tea because this company is so incompetent. Last time I emailed them it was the end of May and 'the new owner Peter' promised to send us the next batch asap. Never arrived. It's a scam, don't go for it.
Update: The parcel finally arrived, and they did do a good job packing it with extra teas etc to make up for the previous poor experience. So updating to 4 stars to make it fair 👌

Beats a builder brew!

crap tea and autorenew subscription scam. utter crap
se an autorenew scam to trick you into paying for subsciptions you dont want. Tiny amounts of silly blends sent once a month instead of just sourcing good tea. I just wanted maybe a couple of herbal blends and some nice green and white single leaf teas. Instead a ridiculous amount of packaging with a pitiful two mug amount of blends that they spent more on the marketing wording of than the quality of the ingredients. This is tea by people who dont care about tea.
I am afraid Bruu are not a company that listens to customers
I am afraid Bruu are not a company that listens or pays attention to customer comments.
I signed up for a monthly selection of teas, making it plain I wanted no flavours adding to any of the teas and no brews involving anything that is not tea (no fruit leaves, berries or buds, for example.
From delivery month one, at least one 9and often two or three samples were adulterated with the things I had said I did not want.
I wrote and told them that they were not sending what was required. But to no avail. Until the end of the six months they continued to send fruit brews and teas adulterated with fruit brews.
I happen to love tea. I have black, white, green yellow and red teas in my cupboard. Oolongs as well as green and black teas are my brews of choice. A half decent Yunnan or Keemun is all it takes to make me a customer for life.
But Bruu just don't listen.
Very good experience all round

I love receiving this box of tea and trying the different types/flavours. I wish they could do a box for the seasons like winter with spicy, pine or chocolate tea from Iceland etc, then they could do one for spring/ summer/ autum.
I loved Bruu!
I loved Bruu!
A lot of choice, and the monthly subscription was great always on time.
I loved this tea subscription but...
I loved this tea subscription. Really excellent tea and the little treats were often delicious. I'd like an option to pay monthly as I'd like to now buy it for myself as a rolling treat. An email letting me know the subscription was about to stop and how I could keep getting my tea would have been wonderful.
When I did have problems (said selected that I didn't like chai tea but was sent Chai on a few occasions) it was sorted out, but it took a while to get a response from Bruu. I was later sent another Chai tea and could face trying to sort it a second time after the faff the first.
Still besides this I really recommend the subscription and I would like to set it up again for nyself soon.

It is great that you can choose what can of teas you do not like! Very personalized service
I love this tea 😍
Not great.....
Bought a 3 month subscription as a gift, they auto-renewed it so I was charged again (my fault, I didn't read the very snall print)! I emailed to cancel, which they did very quickly... however I only ever received 1 box from the auto-renewed subscription. £28.50 for 1 box of tea! You live and learn! Never again!
Great product but terrible customer…
Great product but terrible customer service.
Takes 4-5 days to respond to emails and has no account interface online.
Not transparent about subscriptions and hidden auto renew.
