Me and two friends decided to tour Sicily last August. Our best decision was to trust Budgetplaces and their professional staff to book our accomodations. Without exception, all of the hotels and hostels we booked from Budgetplaces (including B&B A'to Casa in Palermo, Ostello degli Elefanti in Catania, B&B Case Zuccaro in Trecastagni/Etna area), were excellent in service, cleanliness and they met the perfect quality/price ratio. But when we booked the wrong and emailed them so we had to answer directly, both via email and telephone . Isabbell in charge of our case did everything she could to help us to the right place . I made a booking with a representative called Tamara. She was so efficient and helpful I almost cried with joy. In my opinion she went above & beyond her duty to assist me.

I booked through this site even though it was unknown to me. It worked great, and I got the hotel I wanted.....Then I missed a train and was going to be out of luck. I contacted the help service and spoke with a fella named Alessio. He quickly found out what I wanted to do and smoothed things over for the next night at the same place...but he couldn't convince them not to penalize me for the missed night. I was just going to eat it, but Alessio was adamant. Ask them to forgo the penalty. It was a mistake and these things happen. He was right and I got out of the penalty. His service was personable and he actually cared about the outcome. I am super impressed with this site now. I'll be back for the rest of my Spain trip

Oh my goodness, what am I to do? I sent emails to budgetplaces. I had a reply within 24 hrs and a new room in another 24 hrs. I was panicked, thinking that I'd not have a bed in Rome! I was in contact with Matteo through emails only.
He was professional,honest...I asked many questions and why this would happen. It was a sale of the B&B . I felt that he had heard my every concern. He suggested a B&B in the same area but costlier. I thought id search my own B&B. Well..he was right I booked the B&B he suggested.

Very professional and friendly staff especially Karan in the Barcelona office and Yassin at the Amsterdam hotel They helped us with our booking.

This "company" in their t's&c's state that they will take anywhere between 10-25% of the total booking this gives the impression that this comes off your total booking cost IT DOES NOT so if your booking costs £1000 they can take anywhere between £100-£250 and you get nothing for this so it is essentially a hugely inflated booking fee! Also they state that the customer is clearly informed of the charge before they pay this is not true you will only know about it when you see your bank statement also the "staff" (and I apparently spoke to 2 different people who I swear were one and the same) seemed to have no idea what the charge was for and told me that it would be deducted from my hotel bill on arrival this was a lie as I called the hotel and it was not the case I urge everyone to please warn your friends, family and everyone you know to avoid this booking site I wish I had read the reviews as the bad ones outweigh the good by a long way!

We are very pleased with the service we received from Isabella at budgetplaces.com. First of all she found an apartment within our South African Rand budget.

We had lots of questions which she answered in detail and she also contacted the service provider to make special arrangements with them.

We were uncertain about some of the terms and conditions and she clarified it in detail.

Her turn-around response time was within 24 hours.

I booked a room in a 6months advance!! and 10 days before stay budgetplaces told me they cannot give me this room and offer me a similar room 100euro more.
