Found a last minute hotel at an incredible price and all went through very smoothly.

I was booking a room and the dates from a previos reservation kept coming up, i made a reservation and it automatically booked those dates. Imidiatedly mailed the website and hotel directly but i got no acceptable answer, i didnt want the money back just wanted
To change the dates but i got no response... Lost about 400 euros with no further response... Worst service ever, a roberry, dont use it!

used budget places to book a room in Venice contacted hotel 4 days prior to travel to be told they no longer deal with budget places, cancelled my booking and as I had taken cancellation insurance expected a prompt refund of my deposit, I have never received this or an email reply to my numerous emails, phone goes straight to answer message and no one phones you back, easy money take deposit + cancellation fee, do not supply room ignore customer for the rest of there life = millionaire owner, don't use give your cash to a charity.

This company allows you to book a location then you get a e-mail from owner a day before your arrivial that the location of room is changed to there other location caused me and my partner lost time and need to travel more on subway in Rome then walking from orignial location. Owner never offered any kind of discount wanted full payment a good bait and switch and budjet places do not seem to care as I was told to take it up with the owner fat chance Canada to Rome

I had a credit on my budgetplaces account that according to the email and information on my account I could use on ANY of the 10.000+ hotels on budgetplaces. Because I had the credit I decided to book a hotel in Malmo for one night. I followed the instructions and booked a hotel but my credit didn't seem to work. After talking to custumerservice I found out that the Hotel I booked 'is not a "budget partner" hotel, for which the discounts are not applied'. This really makes me wonder because I found the hotel pressing the button 'Use credits'. It didn't say anywhere that I was not able to use my credits on this Hotel. If I had known I would have booked another Hotel. Now I have a night in a Hotel Malmo that I cannot afford and a credit that is running out (I don't dare trying to use the credit again). Great way of making money, Budgetplaces! I don't trust this company and I will not recomend it to anybody.

Update

Before writing the review above I had of cause talked to costumer service and as mentioned they explained that I could only use the credit in Budgetpartner Hotels. When I told them that I was still confused they didn't answer. However, I did write them again as I was told by the Budgetpartner Team but I didn't get an answer (it's been around 20 days now) - The point here is, that the very polite message from budget partner is not at all an expression of good costumer service.
Another reviewer Ramon addressed the confusion about the credits a while back so Budgetpartner must have been aware that this could cause confusion for the costumers. He was told that he could use the credits at the majority of the hotels on Budgetpartner. In Malmö I found, that you can only use the credit on 3 out of 26 listed Hotels - I can't see how 12 % can be the majority. This is not my complain though. My complain is that I was told that I could use the credit on all of the Hotels listed on budgetplaces.com and that there is no way I could have known that this was not true. When searching for a Hotel all the Hotels are listed in the same way. All in all my biggest complain about this company is, that they lied to me and are not willing to do anything about it. By principle I don't think any business should get away cheating their costumers like this.

It was good because they specified clearly the price of one, two or three beds.

It's a great website, and it's a place to check before booking!

Could have made this booking through the website of easy hotel, but you stated on your website I had only to pay a deposit of 35 euro but only seen my account to see all the money has been taken.
