Bunnings Marketplace is a full Scam…

Bunnings Marketplace is a full Scam beware!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bunnings uses third party sellers and sells under there name. But they are dodgy third party sellers that sell items not as advertised and then refuse or ghost you when you try and get a refund. Bunnings keeps refusing to do anything but escalate it to the seller which is them in name - you never know who the actual seller is. And the seller will just act like every other scam site and give u the run around or ghost you. Be warned dont use - And dont support a unethical and greddy bussiness like bunnings doing this!! is Putrid.

Company guts counter staff to go all in…

Company guts counter staff to go all in on self service - then axes self service but doesn't get anymore staff for registers, so every single transaction means waiting 20 mins in line. Absolute joke 🤦‍♂️

I would give less stars if I could

I would give less stars if I could . Ordered a dog steps from Bunnings which came from a third party not Bunnings, the size was 250mm X 140mm high not big enough for a Hampster. My advice is don't order from Bunnings online, more than that the customer service are just washing their hands if it and referring everything to the third party. If I have to send it back it is going to cost me in postage so yet again out of pocket. I am going to refer them to consumer affairs as it is just not fair that the paying customer is being shafted

Just about to chuck out a generator…

Just about to chuck out a generator bought from Bunnings. Full Boar generator rubbish. Just out of warranty then caput. No parts no service no help. The Bunnings I bought it from Warrawong said they would help but the local store Mile End just laughed at me.
I avoid Bunnings and its' predatory sales model at all cost.

No help

Looked online first for the product I wanted. Went to the store closest to me which according to the website had the item in stock. Could not find it and no one around to ask for help. Went to another store 20 mins away as this one was suppose to have the item in stock, was unable to find at the second store. Approached a couple of ladies working in the area and had to wait for them to finish their conversation to get their attention. Showed them the item and was told by one that she had never seen it before and the other said it might be over there somewhere as she waved her hand, pointing in no particular area. Still no luck finding the item. Click and collect next time, see if they can get that right.

It is an okay place

It is an okay place. Prices are not the best, quality is not the best ... but it is there. Sometimes they have things you can't get online. I don't know about the facial recognition mass surveillance they engage in ... but they sell a good faulty hose I guess

Had a few keys cut at Bunnings Mentone

Had a few keys cut at Bunnings Mentone, unfortunately one key was not cut correctly which I understand can happen.I decided to go to the Moorabbin store after finding out about the key that was not cut correctly and to have that key recut. On arrival I went to their service desk where team member by the name of Saxon had his personal phone sitting on the counter and looking down and texting, I explained about the key , he continued to look down and kept texting, I said that is very poor to look down and keep texting instead of looking at a customer while the customer or he is talking. He responded that he is multi tasking. I said just give me a refund as I don’t like your attitude. He gave me a refund and then said in a condescending tone “ you have a nice day” i immediately rang Bunnings head office and explained what transpired. They said a team member is not allowed to be on their personal phone at all and his whole attitude is totally unacceptable. Shortly after I also received a phone call from the manager on duty ( Nathan) from the Moorabbin store who was very nice and agreed that his team member’s lack of service , being on his personal phone and his attitude is totally unacceptable and not company policy.
Saxon’s with his attitude should not be in retail.

Taren point - Melissa - Supervisor

Taren point - NSW horrible experience stuff Melissa - Supervisor-
This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had at Bunnings, and something I never expected from a company known for customer service.
I went in today seeking assistance with a Ryobi blower return/exchange and fully understand that store policies regarding receipts must be followed. However, the way I was treated by the front cashier supervisor, Melissa (around 4pm on 28/05), was extremely disappointing.
What upset me most was not the policy itself, but the way the situation was handled. Melissa did not spend even one minute genuinely trying to assist or explore possible options. Or even give some useful information to how to proceed…Instead, it felt like more time was spent speaking loudly, being dismissive, and making it clear that helping me was an inconvenience because she had “a million jobs to do.” She couldn’t be there trying to find a receipt to me. ( I didn’t asked that ) a simple polite response would do !!!
At no point did I feel empathy, professionalism, or basic customer care. Rather than trying to de-escalate the situation, I felt blamed and made to feel uncomfortable for simply asking for help.
I left the store feeling nervous, embarrassed, and honestly shocked by the experience. I have always had positive experiences with Bunnings before, which is why this interaction was so disappointing.
…after a few minutes ( also after Melisa gone to do her others million things) , I stepped aside to breathe and thinking in what I could do…quite in shock .. I suppose ….other staff members noticed how unhelpful rude and a loudly Melissa interaction had been, the team member approached me and provided useful information that actually helped. I followed the steps suggested and already managed to locate my receipt. Unfortunately I was so nervos to the point that I didn’t even ask the name of the helpful lady to mention her outstanding customer service and support.

I truly hope management takes situations like this seriously and reminds staff — especially supervisors — that customer service is not only about enforcing policies, but also about treating people with respect.

Rude female cashier

Rude female cashier. Spend thousands of dollars at Bunnings per year as a professional builder and all of a sudden a QR scan of a power pass is unacceptable after using it hundreds of times. Do better Burleigh Heads store and your cashiers need an attitude adjustment. Poor customer service.

Never more I will buy online in website Bunnings

I bought a tent online through the Bunnings website, but the tent isn't for camping as advertised, so I requested a refund on April 29th. I'm trying to resolve this with the store that sold it and with Bunnings, but they aren't responding, they aren't resolving the issue, and they want me to deal with my bank regarding a transaction they made!!! How can my bank track a transaction they didn't make? The problem remains unresolved.

Bunnings Springfield

Bunnings Springfield. We found the products we needed because we are regular customers. Long line at only two checkouts open & ALL self serve checkouts closed! Finally when we got to the checkout, poor customer service. Person serving couldn't give a rats with no boxes to put our purchases in. Lack of decent caring staff!!!

They are a near-monopoly

They are a monopoly. So close to being one. Right around Sydney metro, they have stores everywhere. They are now a byword for going to the hardware store. People say going to bunnings, thus. They destroyed BBC hardware and Sunlite Mitre 10 does not even have a fraction of the locations. Places like woolworths that sell a few garden gloves and potting mix are not competitors in any true sense. Australia has allowed this con, this behemoth for too long. So my complaint is there is no real choice in the market

Purchased 20 concrete sleepers via special order online a couple weeks ago and have heard nothing at all from them except for a confirmation email. No delivery date, nothing. Called, been into store, called again and no one can tell me where $1200 of product is or when it’ll arrive. Pretty bloody useless.
