Ordered online, never got any of the items it’s a joke better off going for the slightly more expensive price as at lest those companies deliver.

Terrible service from the online…

Terrible service from the online ordering and customer service department. We ordered 10 furniture legs (which is the number we required) and they sent 7. When we contacted customer service, they did nothing to rectify the issue, so now we have 7 furniture legs that we cannot use.

In shock they had the self checkout…

In shock they had the self checkout closed and used the excuse for customer service he was more interested in my empty trolley which I brought to purchase my goods and get home in as usually they have no bags so came prepared I literally lifted my trolley and said look at its wheels they have definitely been used
Last time any one serves me their

The price match guarantee is a joke

The price match guarantee is a joke. We have a valid quote from a competitor for the same product that we were going to get delivered. Bunnings first tried to get out of the guarantee by saying it was a trade quote (it was not) then when applying the price match they included the competitor freight cost but excluded their own freight cost (which was higher). They also did all of this via email and took days to reply. Overall it was a bad experience and I'm dissapointed given how much they spruik the guarantee.

The current price of phalaenopsus…

The current price of phalaenopsus (orchid) is simply price gouging. I brought one, including Ceramic pot for $29 a couple of months ago. Today the price for the orchid itself is $29 and then need to buy a pot - approx $10. Not sure how to justify that price rise, except it is Christmas and price gouging. Very poor form.

Bunnings false stock levels online

Travelled to Brisbane from a country town to purchase some pvc gutter.
Based on supposed good levels of stock I was amazed to find that 3 stores had stock of the gutter, but no accessories for installation. Staff advised that it was a "discontinued" range. Wasted hours and many litres of fuel when a simple notification on the website would have sufficed.
Typical of the emerging arrogance of the Bunnings empire, and its total lack of regard for customers.
Lost me forever.....

Terrible Service and follow up

Extremely Disappointing

We ordered a Mimosa Mandala Sunlounge with Cushion and spent 10 days following up every single day trying to get an update on delivery. After all that, we were finally told the product had been suspended—with no apology and only an automatic refund offered.

Absolutely unacceptable customer service. A complete waste of our time and very disappointing from a company the size of Bunnings. I would strongly reconsider purchasing large items from them again.

A business that has a feed back…

A business that has a feed back mechanism whereby the overwhelming majority of feed back is negative should prompt Wesfarmers to consider the net impact on costumers and shareholders. The response time of 30 minutes to answer the phone by any measure is only comparable to what consumers experience calling government departments where employees cannot be sacked.

Bunnings Croydon

Bunnings Croydon: employees at this store are absolutely disgusting (I apologise to the decent employees there, I’m sure some of you do a marvellous job) but the ones I dealt were outright rude, disrespectful and they mock you. They think you don’t have eyes and ears, or maybe they just don’t care, when they form their little pack and laugh and make fun of customers. I am furious with how I was spoken to and treated by them. I’m glad I’ve opened my horizons to other trade stores like Total tools, Sydney tools and Mitre10 but after today I’m going to drop my money in stores that respect my business. Utterly disgraceful.

Ordered on line before the 2pm cut off…

Ordered on line before the 2pm cut off time for same day delivery. Did not recieve the items in the timeframe as per stated on the website.

After ringing the store I purchased from, they said the items were at another store awaiting delivery. Rang the suggested store for feedback and whilst the staff members were pleasant, they could not tell me when the delivery was to be made. Considering i was charged 50 dollars for delivery, it's certainly disappointing that the company does not adhere to it online claims of delivery expectations.

Beware of what you find in their rugs

I purchased a shaggy rug from Bunnings (pick up from Woodville S.A.)
I can no longer find the particular rug online, but have started to find small curly metal pieces within the rug fibres.
Not a great find, because it's like stepping on a cross between a pin and a staple.

Customer Service Above & Beyond Expectations

I am absolutely stunned by the service I received from Bunnings today.

Is there a more annoying experience than committing to a job, opening a tin of paint and realising it won’t go the distance? I went to the Bunnings website but there didn’t appear to be an option to have paint tinted to the colour I wanted so I called the closest Bunnings at Logan Road, Mt Gravatt. I spoke to Robbie who said he would get back to me.

Will returned the call and said they were able to mix the paint for me. I was pleased I wouldn’t have to get to a store by public transport and carry two 4-litre tins of paint in a shopping cart. I was resigned to having to delay the painting a few days waiting for delivery. No, Will said, I’ll deliver it personally today. He did indeed deliver within 30 minutes.

This type of superior customer service is all the more impressive because I thought it had virtually disappeared. You might occasionally encounter “old-fashioned” service in a small independent store but would never expect it from a major retailer like Bunnings.

Therefore, I can only give Bunnings the highest praise and recommendation for going above and beyond my expectations. Well done, Bunnings.

Amateur staff member

Was not Maribyrnong where I normally shop but I was driving from the north back home to the west, saw a store and went in as i needed a drill bit. Wanted a masonry drill bit to use re a 8 mm by 45 mm dynbabolt plus. I bought two packs from Maribyrnong months ago but never got around to the drill bit. The staffer looked at the dynabolt and checked the drill bit size by putting them, end to end and NOT reading anything Well the one he recommended was one size too small PLUS, just now, this Chinese KANGO drilled one hole in a brick nicely but would not do a second

Poor Trade Customer Service - "Drive 1 hour for an $8 part"

How about you get your staff to take a 1 hour return trip to pick it up . . . no doesn't make sense does it. POOR POOR Trade customer service....... It really encourages shopping on line.

How helpful was the staff at batemans bay paint section especially the staff member named marg who was such a huge help in directing myself to the appropriate paint requiremed for a successful project

Having a great experience in selecting the appropriate paint in a confident environment with the help of a staff member named marg from the paint section in Batemans bay nsw store as it's well known how busy this department can become I felt very satisfied with the service today and would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a painting project many thanks marg once again

I recently had a pleasure of dealing with a staff name ( LUCAS ) from the garden section and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. LUCAS was prompt, very helpful, professional and friendly. He's friendly and courteous attitude made the experience great. I highly recommended bunnings CARSELDINE.
