Update 15th September 2020
As you will see from the post Buy MyHouse have responded after about 10 months and as suggested, I rang them within 10 minutes of their reply to ask why they felt there was some miscommunication. The person answering the phone could not help me but was very polite and she did get someone to call me back the same day and fortunately it was the original sales representative, which I was very pleased at as I felt he would know my case inside out.
After about 20 minutes going back and forth it seems Buy MyHouse feel my review was very one sided, which unfortunately is the problem with opinions, they are exactly that, one persons telling of the situation. Well the long and short of it is that we reviewed each section of the review and there was no real denial of the chain of events, however the main point of contention is that Buy MyHouse say that they were not able to view the property when they made their initial offer and when they did manage to carry our the viewing, they felt that it was not in the condition they had anticipated. The problem with their argument is that they never asked to view the property until the Tuesday before we were due to exchange contracts, and did not attend the property until the day of exchange. There was never a request before this date and access was never denied, I have asked them to provide proof that my claim is false and 4 days on, nothing.
I am very intrigued to the comments made by Buy MyHouse in their reply as the say that 'they would be the first to apologies and make amends', so unless this information can be provided and validated, then I expect no less than an apology and the increase back to the original £100k as per the original agreed sale price and memorandum of sale. I have no intentions of requesting money for the stress that the whole situation caused but if Buy Myhouse feel that this is due then thanks in advance.
I look forward to a prompt reply and cheque in the post.
End of update
I contacted buy my house around May 2019 with a view to selling my house quickly. I was not in debt but lived 2 hours away from the property so wanted a quick sale with no hassle. The sales representative contacted me and they carried out a 'drive by viewing' the same evening. The sales representative sent me a lot of information about what to look out for and why they were different to their competitors. Buy Myhouse told me that my house was worth about £120k and they would offer £100k. I had also been in touch with another company and they made a much higher initial offer. This was communicated to Buy Myhouse and they were very relaxed about the approach I was taking. The second company carried out an internal viewing and then dropped their offer to £90k so I contacted Buy Myhouse and explained what had happened, the sales rep was really understanding and told me this was consistent with rogue companies and that they were happy to stand by their valuation and proceed. Memorandum of sales were sent out and everything went forward as planned. We appointed solicitors and I made plans to clear the house. 2 days before completion I was asked to accommodate a viewing, I lived over 2 hours away so this was not possible, but fortunately my friend had a spare key as he was looking after the property whilst it was vacant. I asked why was this request so late and the sales rep said they wanted to check that it was vacant possession and it was indeed a 3 bedroom house, he assured me this was standard and would take 10 minutes. I checked with my solicitor and agreed to the viewing. My friend attended the viewing and rang me straight after saying he had been there over an hour and they had taken pictures and measurements.
Then came the bombshell, on the day of completion I heard nothing so I chased my solicitor. Their fees were only going to get paid by the company if we exchanged so I was facing the prospect of having to pay £800 if it didn't happen. I rang the sales rep frantically and eventually managed to get hold of him, he didn't know what was happening but was going to check. I heard nothing until the following week at which point my solicitor phoned me to tell me that they had received a revised offer for £85k, I was devastated. I managed to speak to the sales rep and explained that this was not what had been agreed and I had the usual Brexit, house not in the condition they imagined and they would have to spend thousands doing it up...….. I explained that I could have received £90k from the other company but went with Buy Myhouse as they seemed genuine. I eventually got an offer from them of £90k but still felt cheated. We completed the same day but I would not recommend this company and the way they behave when you are reliant on them doing the what they had agreed too.
Still no update over a year later.

I would give them minus 10
I would give them minus 10. Terrible company! Sent me an offer to buy my flat, asked me to move out, leave the keys with the solicitor and said they would exchange the same day, they didn't! Days went by and every day they stalled me, eventually made an offer of £80k less of the offer they emailed me!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Do not use.
Wish I had seen the bad reviews before I contacted them. They are all true. They try to back you into a corner. Good job I did see the bad reviews before I committed too much money. Good job I had another offer in the pipe line for my house. Oh well thanks for wasting my time BMH. They will reduce the offer right at exchange of contracts. They try to put you in a position where you have to take the offer because you need to move. Go with an estate agent and use modern method of auction you will get more. Don't give your hard earned money to these people.
