Big thanks to Sam, Our property was on the market with 2 agents and we have lost our buyer after 3 months of agreeing to sell.
We spoke to Sam at this company and he made an offer which was less than the price we had accepted via the agents but we just wanted the property sold. All in all it took 3 weeks to get our money and my wife and I are happy.

sold by aunts house to buy my house back in June and was completing on 1st august .
day of completion at 1-30pm, they sent an email reducing there offer by £11.500 . which was 18% reduction
We went through them as my 86 year old aunt was going into a home and needed the money to pay her costs to stay in a private care home.
I feel they had been very positive up to the final day and left us with an empty house and a very upset aunt. Plus left to pay solicitor fees,which they where paying as part of the sale.
BE WARNED, that all i can say.

After failing to sell our house the 'normal' way through a couple of estate agents we contacted BMH and dealt with a great chap called Mike. He bought our old house for a good price allowing us to purchase our dream forever home. The whole process took less than 2 weeks! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to move quickly and stress free. Brilliant!

Estate agents stress me out!!! Just the word ‘chains’ annoys me! I didn't get as much with BMH but at least I had the guarantee to move!

My experience in dealing with Sam was excellent, however my dealings with your solicitors was not very professional, they sent a list of questions needing answered, which was done, then they asked for more questions, this was also done and they then asked for more, very tiresome and annoying.

Sam was professional in all aspects of my dealings with him and if it was not for him, i think i may have pulled out of selling the property to you.

Initial offer made, then reduced once we decided to proceed then on the day of completion, YES the actual day of completion at gone midday they decide to reduce the offer by a substantial amount! We were left in an almost impossible predicament of which they really could not care less. They quoted, of all things, BREXIT! as one of their main reasons?!? We have been left devastated by the whole ordeal and very much out of pocket.
When things look too good to be true, trust me, it IS. Avoid at all costs.

That is not actually true - according to your "due diligence" you had someone do a drive by viewing (April time I believe!!) therefore you were totally aware of the look of the house from the front AND you were supposed to have spoken to local estate agents and presumably looked at other properties (exactly the same) in the area so to say you were not aware is completely untrue. I also full described the property to Sam also in April. This is simply an untrue excuse that you are relying upon.

I had a buyer with my estate agent that fell through a week before exchange because my buyers couldn’t get their mortgage offer. I rang BMH and although they didn’t offer me the same as my other buyer they did buy it quickly and for cash. Would recommend if you don’t want the hassle of surveys, agents and finding a date that works for the buyers to move in as BMH completed when I wanted to, I didn’t have to wait for anyone.

I was happy with the process from start to finish - quite simple.

I had to relocate due to my new job and BMH not only gave me time to find a property near my new workplace but even contributed towards my removal costs, which was unexpected to be honest.

A good company that bought my property off my family under a very difficult situation.

Early days but so far so good! Get regular updates and deal with a friendly team.

I used buy my house as I needed a quick sale. Their team was excellent and very easy to get along with. If I hadn't used buy my house, my property would still be sitting on the market for God knows how long!

Cowboys!!!

If I could give MINUS stars I would. DO NOT TOUCH THESE PEOPLE WITH A BARGE POLE!!

At the beginning the salesman / director / owner (they seem to have many hats) offered a sale price on the property of £300k. We were completely transparent with the condition and works that were required (minor). All was going through, although it took 5 weeks to get to exchange and completion - their internal communications between themselves, their solicitors and their "underwriters" was actrocious. Then 2 hours before completion they sent an email saying they were dropping their offer by £50k to £250k!!! Nothing had been indicated that this would happen and even on the morning of the completion with one of their other staff all was "go" and no issues.

The letter was a standard letter (not even personalised) and was full of BS stating that major works were needed on the property (they'd seen the property 2 weeks before and everything had been known at the start), and also blamed Brexit and the Bank of England's statement on what could happen to house prices !!! (I pointed out that the statement has actually been made in September 2018!, 7 months before they had placed the offer...just excuses).

They lied many times, including a "director" of BMH saying he was one, yet on Companies House he appears no where - BMH are just a trading name for Imperial Acre EstatesLtd and he still doesn't appear on that Companies list of directors. All the other companies related appear to have been dissolved or just controlled by one person.

Obviously we didn't accept the offer and their excuses were just complete BS!! These are complete cowboys and my action now is to pursue them with The Property Ombudsman, the legal process and contacting the media as they have cost us substantially both in physical costs, and stress and emotional distress. I wanted to write this review now so other people do not get taken in by them.

It all starts fairly well... the price they offer is lowish, but you know it will never be the market value, so no awful surprises there.
However, their website CLEARLY states that BREXIT WILL NOT HAVE ANY IMPACT ON THEM.. we accepted their offer, it was one we could work with, however we received a phone call a week before exchanging contracts that they were dropping the offer by £20,000 due to the uncertainty of Brexit!
( There is a sense of uncertainty and a lack of confidence in the property market since Brexit. This does not concern us and whatever your reasons for sale: inheritance, financial difficulties, separation, relocation, or simply the desire for a quick, hassle-free sale –
we are ready with the funds and the expertise to buy your property.) They then upped it and reduced by £15,000. Just WOW, really???
I would never recommend this company on the way they led us on and then hit us with such a reduction at the last minute. Totally unacceptable and not to be trusted.

I replied to your ‘reply’ giving you the chance to address the issues, but your company completely failed to do so.. instead focusing on something else. So, in my opinion, my review is spot on.
