Home Workout Gets It Done
I am on my second run through the 'Home Workout'. I quite like it. There are optional exercises if I need to make something easier or harder. I like the pacing, 3-4 days a week, and as a runner, this is a nice supplement and I find I have the energy to often do a run and this core work on the same day.
As I've seen others mention, I would really like the ability to reset the progress myself (though I did email support and they did it for me).
Good instruction, challenging programs, and flexible routines
On again, off again. But I always return. I have their mobility programs, old and new, and the bundle for their complete training programs, currently in the Advanced phases and practicing handstands.
I'm no rookie to fitness, done MMA and lifted weights, but these calisthenic workouts are the most challenging routines I've done so far. Each workout is about an hour, and I do skip days and cut workouts early, but the aim for myself is not progressing with the program, it is to progress on my journey and build a better relationship with my body. Which has happened in spades. My appearance has changed as well, but that's always going to be the by-product of any physical training done consistently. What Eggs and Sven have done is created a good system to help most of anyone to become more physical without a need for a gym or much of any equipment. I would, have, and do recommend this program to anyone wanting to get into calisthenics.
Best program ive tried
Well orchestrated program
Well orchestrated programming, they've incorporated a lot of fitness training principles into the programing. Progressive overload, periodization etc.. for someone that usually makes my own programs, it was awesome to have a complete program to just execute, On my 2nd year, I'm going to miss it when I complete the program. Well done guys!
This program is life changing
This program is life changing. I had a goal to be able to do a clean pull up by the time I turned 50 and now I can do 2-3 clean from a dead hang. Plus pistol squats, and I can hold a handstand for 10 seconds and I am working toward muscle ups planches and lots more.
I tell everyone about Calimove. Everyone notices my physique from women of all ages to the gym bros. I didn't miss a workout in 2 years, I stuck to the program and I reaped the results.
One criticism is that the program is a little too intense for the female form. I do 2 Calimove workouts a week now and I round it out with cycling and dance and gymnastics. I still have the muscle but it's not as defined as it was when I did calisthenics exclusively.
Programs are designed for younger bodies
I have both the 3-part body transformation program and the 5-part calisthenics skills program. I started the body transformation in my early 50s and then switched to the skills program. I would not recommend the "Elite" (part 3) portion of BT for someone my age - it wreaked havoc on my body. In the skills program I am stuck at stage 3 after suffering injuries doing the very difficult typewriter pullups. Despite very careful warmups, good diet, adequate sleep, etc. there is only so muscle stress much each person's body can handle. I have been training outside the Cali-move program for five months now trying to reduce the inflammation and scar tissue in my forearms/elbow joints with physical therapy sessions. I have gained 15lbs of muscle with Cali-move programs which is amazing. But there is only so much progress I'll be able to make at my age, and I may have hit my limits already.
It works great for me
I did the Calisthenics at Home course and am currently doing the first Body Transformation and Mobility 2.0 courses. They work great for me, and I am really happy. The changes both in my mobility and body composition are obvious, and I am not the only one who noticed! Some exercises get hard at some point, but I find it relatively easy to adapt the different progressions to my needs. Overall and so far, I am very satisfied.
A great guide through my calisthenics journey
I've been following their calisthenics program for a few years now, such a great experience for a complete beginner. I can see the progress I've made as I get to learn some more difficult and actually cool exercises! As I'm learning the handstand now I've got all the supporting strength needed to focus on the balancing aspect.
I didn't try to get email support, but that was never promised.
I have a very positive experience
Awesome guys! I have a very positive experience working with their calisthenics programs (currently working on Mobility). Highly recommend for everyone.
Worth it
The mobility 2.0 program is a very nice progression with easy to follow instructions and came to me at a perfect time in my life. Im on day 80 and have experienced significant gains in my flexibility and strength and it's become a fantastic warm up for gym days. I highly recommend this program.
I am still doing the Mobility 2.0…
I am still doing the Mobility 2.0 Programm sice half a year. It keeps me much more consistant with Mobility Training than without the Programm. I see Progress, it is very well explained, and the workout time is moderate to make it fit in the day.
I am at 75 Prozent so far and now i come to the Point i am not always able to keep up with the Progress.
One negative thing is that you need Access to the Internet when doing the Training. Witch is sometimes not possible.
At least i highly recommend the Programm to anyone who wants to stay mobile and get stronger at end range of Motion!
Extremely Effective and Well Designed Programs
I love their programs. I’ve done their old level four and five programs, their new Level 5 Calisthenics program several times, and am currently doing their Body Transformation Pro program.
The instructional videos are great, the progression of loading, exercise variety, and volume are great. Their frame system is intuitive. My only qualm is the lack of leg volume and overhead press volume in the calisthenic program. Although, this is because you are doing handstand training throughout the program.
The Body Transformation program has been great. One of my weaknesses was in muscular endurance and this has greatly improved since beginning the program. I’ve also put on muscle, dropped body fat, and increased my strength. The different muscle building techniques have been great and kept the training fresh. The only improvement I can think of is to have a spreadsheet for the phases in addition to the test weeks, whereas the calisthenics program had a spreadsheet for all of the training. This is just a minor gripe as I’ve just made my own tables in a notebook.
Perfect stucture and timing
Perfect stucture and timing, the only thing I need is the will to folow the instructions
Efficient strength & mobility workouts
The workouts improved my strength, mobility, and coordination. After a couple of weeks my posture improved visibly.
The videos are straight to the point and don't waste your time. For more detailed explanations, cali move provides supplemental videos for each exercise.
The value to price ratio is unmatched. Plus, no subscription fee and high quality videos.
Two small features I'd like to see:
* Reset workout program progress so you can redo it easily
* Sections in video timeline to jump to exercises quickly
Overall, I highly recommend cali move if you're looking for efficient strength and mobility workouts. I've been using their workouts for many years and have no regrets.
Mobility 2.0
I purchased and use Mobility 2.0 program. Currently completed about 20% of the program. So far I like the program very much. Tons of high quality, well structured videos. I like the follow-along mobility workouts which I do after my main trainings. Very good value for the price.
The program is great.
The program is great and I have experienced good progress in terms of strength and endurance. I would like to see more cardio workouts in the program.
Mobility 2.0
I bought the Mobility 2.0 Program 11 month ago. Since then I made huge progress and never felt my body like this before.
My one and only contact with the customer service was positive.
Like it!
Easy and comprehensive learnings. Got quick response when I had questions
Simple and effective
Simple and effective. Based on science the method uses progressive load with few base exercises. It works well I completed the body transformation elite a couple of time and I definitely added muscles and feel stronger.
