I would highly recommend Scott and Carrie at Camerashy. The whole wedding photography experience was fantastic from start to finish.

We had booked a pre wedding photo shoot and the pictures were beautiful and very natural, we also included our daughter and the dog in the photos. Scott made us both at ease and prepared us for the big day. We also had an online zoom meeting and again was very relaxed allowing us to ask questions and prepared us for how the day would go.

Then on the wedding day Scott managed to capture every single moment. I love looking through the photographs to remind us of the day. We have had so many compliments about the pictures from the wedding. Every picture is taken with precision and is edited so well!

We were also pleasantly surprised at how quick the pictures came back!

Can’t thank Scott and Carrie enough for such an amazing experience in the run up to our wedding and on the day. Being very unnatural in front of the camera we were very nervous about our engagement shoot but Scott put us at ease and it was really helpful to prepare us for the big day. We were so happy with all of our photos - Scott captured perfect moments throughout the day unobtrusively and was friendly and fun when corralling our guests for group shots. Carrie was so quick to respond to our emails from the start and was so organised which made the planning effortless for us. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a photographer.

Had a fantastic experience with Scott and Carrie from Camerashy.
We first met Scott at wedding fair and we liked him straight away. We had to delay our wedding by a year for Covid and Carrie was very quick at getting back to us with dates able to do for this year. She always response to emails within a day and was always able to answer questions.
Our pre wedding shoot finally came round and Scott was amazing especially with Craig and I not being great in front of camera, he made us feel so relaxed and let our dog Angus join on for the day.
The wedding day. Well what can I say. What an amazing day from start to finish. Scott was very organised from start to finish and was looking for breaks in weather to get photos outside. He was great at sorting a wedding dress and made us feel so relaxed.
I will defiantly be recommending Camerashy to anyone I can.

We had a fabulous photoshoot experience with Scott & Carrie.
I should add that ‘we’ included 5 dogs and 3 horses!! A challenge to some but definitely not to Scott. He was so professional and achieved the most amazing photos. A huge thanks to Camerashy Photography and a massive recommendation for anyone looking to capture fabulous memories to treasure forever.

We had a fantastic experience with Camerashy Photography for our wedding - we were both fairly nervous where photos were concerned but Scott put us both at ease at the pre-wedding photoshoot to see what worked and what didn't, clearly invested time in looking through our venue and surrounding areas to find the best spots, and was never intrusive or in the way when it came to the actual wedding day. He even managed to get our toddler to comply which is a feat in itself! The client service was excellent with excellent communication before, during and after the wedding, and the photos themselves were of fantastic quality. We would highly recommend!

If you are reading this and wondering whether to choose Camerashy for your wedding photos, take it from this stressy, introverted bride who hates pictures of herself - you NEED these people at your wedding!

First off Carrie is amazing with communication during one of the most logistically challenging times of life, she emails and calls at exactly the right moments. At the pre-wedding shoot and on the day itself, Scott makes you feel comfortable, calm, and prepared for the day (even in those final few minutes when breathing normally is a real challenge!)

Photos were one of the most important things to us for our wedding, and we are absolutely delighted with how they came out. Neither of us enjoy/ are very good at posing for pics, and that is why we loved Scott's way of doing things - natural, real-life shots of us just talking, smiling, and reacting to each other and our guests.

From the first meeting with Scott right the way through to getting our final wedding photos both Carrie and Scott have been great. The photos are amazing and we feel like Scott really captured the whole day, something we will cherish forever.

Masterchefs Sustainable Scotland lunch. Scott and Carrie were on site for a 5 hour photo shoot at the 2021 Master chefs lunch at the Old course Hotel St Andrews. The standard of photography is the best ever produced in twenty years , Scott moved from photographing stills of food, to then moving into an action packed live kitchen full of chefs capturing the action shots perfectly you have to have a a real eye for detail to capture action shots of this quality. So good was the photography it will feature in six pages of our master chefs magazine. They are an of the planet professional team Camerashy, already re-booked for spring lunch 2022

We were incredibly happy with our experience with Scott and Carrie and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking wedding photos or any other kind of photos.

TL;DR: If you’re debating whether to choose Camerashy, do it!

We were married April 2021, which meant there was lots of uncertainty about dates, numbers, venues, etc., because of the changing COVID-19 protocols. Scott and Carrie had incredible patience with us as the numbers and venue changed several times, and their flexibility was a godsend for us with all the other changes going on. In fact, we could not have gotten married without them, as they acted as our witnesses when it became clear our Canadian families would not be able to join us on the day. This was just one of many ways in which they bent over backwards for us and made our wedding day as perfect as it could have been.

We never waited more than a few minutes for an email response from them, and all communications were very clear so it was easy to be on the same page. Carrie was in constant communication as government guidance changed and immediately notified us when we were able to do a pre-wedding shoot—which is a great feature of their package, as I had no idea I would be nervous in front of a camera! Having a bit of practice posing and getting comfortable in front of the camera meant that on the big day it was second nature, and the photos turned out amazingly as a result.

On the day, they arrived exactly when they said they would, fully prepared and ready to go. Scott started taking photos within a few minutes of arriving and made our ‘quaint’ flat look amazing in the prep photos. He took more photos throughout the ceremony, but we barely noticed because he was unintrusive and respectful. He somehow managed to get several different angles during the ceremony, despite having to work around a tripod we set up to record a video—and he never once got in the frame!

After the ceremony, he took us to some nearby areas and it was clear he had pre-scouted the location and knew exactly where we should stand and how to pose us. We took a quick break for dinner and then met up again that evening, but we made him wait nearly an hour because our dinner took much longer than we thought. Nonetheless, he was so patient and gracious, where others would likely have been grumpy after a full day of work.

A great experience is only worthwhile if the photos turn out, and we were amazed at how beautiful the pictures were. His pre-planning meant that the images were perfectly composed and lit, and the pre-wedding shoot meant that we looked natural and relaxed. Scott has definitely earned his title of Master Photographer. He provided photos in various different styles to capture different moods from the day and each one has a timeless quality that only excellent photographers can create.

Our wedding day couldn’t have happened without Carrie and Scott, and they were a big part of making it perfect for us. Plus, we got along really well with them and found them personable and easy to chat with. We would enthusiastically recommend Camerashy to anyone seeking professional photography, especially for weddings. Thank you Carrie and Scott!

We had family pictures taken to celebrate my Mum's 70th birthday, and we were delighted with the results. Scott and Carrie were professional, attuned to what we wanted, and made us all feel at ease. They were especially good with my 7 year old son, and made it fun for him. The pictures are lovely, so highly recommended and we would definitely use Camershy again!

Look no further for pet photography! I didn’t realise my dog was a potential supermodel until Scott did the photo shoot with him. It was so much fun, Barney actually seemed to enjoy the whole photo session getting lots of chances to play and endless rewards. It was all very relaxed and not at all stressful for Barney who loved Scott! The resulting photos were absolutely incredible and I get so many comments on them from friends.
Never work with animals?......that is not something you’d ever hear from Camerashy Photography. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
