PENNINE PATHFINDER
Purchased a 2021 6 berth Pennine Pathfinder which was a part ex for a 2012 model also purchased new from Camping Int. Have been using this company for 15 years and always found staff , service and reliability top class . The 2021 Pathfinder is a game changer and they have made some great improvements and refinements . You wont find a better folding camper unit on the market than this. Top quality materials and British made to boot. Pennnine always very attentive and efficient should you need assistance or advice . Top Class Unit.

I bought an inflatable sofabed but unfortunately it had a manufacturer problem so contacted camping International and the item was replaced within 3 days by post and we now have the item to take to the caravan with us on Friday. Event shelter so we can entertain in the garden once Covid restrictions are lifted
I was looking for be event shelter to have in our garden once the restrictions are lifted. I ordered the shelter on Monday and it was delivered on Wednesday. It was very competitively priced and came with 2 walls free of charge. Have had to contact by email for other reason and they respond extremely quickly and are very helpful. I ordered an electric Thetford cassette toilet which came fast but unfortunately has a faulty pump
With the lockdown and health worries, I was very concerned about having to sort out a collection at a shop to return . This company has taken it in their stride and have organised collection of the faulty one at the same time of delivering a replacement. What more could I want? (Well actually I could have wanted Thetford to have better product quality control but that’s not within the remit of the seller!)

Truly awful
Truly awful, the staff were rude, abrupt and had about as much motivation as a dead slug. The shop itself was fantastic but the staff ruined it for me! I asked for advice as to what mattress would be a good buy as I am new to motor homing and was told they couldn't really help me and laughed. I then stood in the wrong part of the queuing area to pay (even though I had followed on from another customer) and was told off for doing this. I was then told I couldn't take the green basket out to the car park even though the bits I brought were really heavy and I was then met with a miserable, grumpy lady who shoved a metal trolley at me. I have read a few of the reviews and other people said they were met with fantastic customer service. This was certainly not the experience I had.

We purchased a windbreak and camping table with benches. Very good prices for both compared to their competitors. Although it said we should expect delivery delays due to COVID19, we received the items within 2 days, so very quick service.

I ordered a new awning
I ordered a new awning, ground sheet and storm straps at 20:45 hrs on the 1st July and to my amazement the delivery driver was knocking my door at 11:30 hrs on the morning of the 3rd July. Absolutely amazing service really top quality delivery service, thank You..

We all know with Covid 19 these are difficult times and while some business seem to be using this as an excuse, some are rising to the challenge - Camping International are doing just that. I contacted them because we really needed a portable toilet asap and had been let down by another supplier. Helen and her team had it sent out straight away and kept me in the loop via email. Brilliant! Everything arrived today, well packed and in good order. We'll be back.
Camping International Gillingham A great company to do business with.
Just returned home after a visit to Camping International in Gillingham to see the Pennine Pathfinder range. We were met by Terry who showed us round and built up and folded away one to demonstrate how easy it is to do. All equipment was explained fully with all features pointed out clearly. We were then left to look around ourselves and have a good try out, but Terry was always on hand to answer any questions we had. When we had decided to buy one he gave us a fantastic deal which was way better than we could have hoped for. All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending both Terry and Camping International.

Excellent, friendly service
We bought an Outwell Wildwood but there was a manufacturing fault on the zip. We contacted the company and Aleasha checked our photo of the fault and arranged collection. Immediately on receipt she offered to exchange the tent but as our last Outwell had failed quite quickly, we have lost confidence in the brand so we asked for a refund which she remitted to us the same day. Excellent resolution of the problem and we would use Camping International again.

Poor After Sales Response Still waiting for Carpet 7 weeks later
Very disappointed that the awning carpet ordered and paid for on 17th June has still not been delivered.
When we paid for the carpet we were told "end of June", When I chased beginning of July because no one had had courtesy to contact me, I was told the boat from China would now not arrive until 25th July.
Called again today and told now boat not arriving until 22nd August. I understand this might be out of their hands, but why do I only get update when I email them?
Plus I did offer a solution that would at least keep one customer happy (one carpet from display, leaving one for another customer) but they would not accept this as other customers might be upset. So seems rather than try to keep 2 potential customers semi happy, they would rather keep all customers disappointed.

We purchased a Kampa awning that has leaked from new. After contacting Camping Intl and they told us that we needed to pay £50 to have the awning tested by Kampa. We thought this was strange but accepted it in good faith that our problems would be resolved and the £50 would be refunded. A few weeks later we received back our leaking awning with a report stating that they could not find any fault. Camping Intl did not make any comments about issues or the supporting evidence we provided in a report containing pictures etc showing the leak areas. They suggested in a round about way that these awning suffer from condensation but did not say this was our problem – which was no help at all.
We got the feeling that Camping Intl was not interested and just want to pass us on to the manufacturer for them to resolve. They did not offer any kind of repair or remedial action or even offer to refund the £50 when I pointed out that they under the consumer rights act are responsible to prove the item is not at fault if less than six months old at there cost.
Kampa in the end provided a can of re-proofer and some seem sealant for us to test.
Response to Camping Intl answer.......
Please show where it states you have the right to return the product to the manufacturer for testing and charge the customer for this, consumer rights state you are responsible to prove the items is not at fault if less than 6 months old?

I didn't actually buy anything from here in the end as bought a used folding camper via a personal sale but was given free, personal, honest and friendly advice from Terry about a trailer tent, towbar and accessories, phoning companies to check stock, and even when decided not to buy was still a gentleman.
