Quick Delivery

Just ordered a tent footprint for a Kampa Croyde.
The item was delivered the next afternoon by courier.

Excellent service, would definitely recommend this company.

Excellent

I ordered my vango iris 600 on a Sunday and received it on Tuesday. Text message on Monday to say it had been sent and a message on Tuesday telling me the delivery time and even the drivers name. The tent was £199 which was £50 cheaper than the cheapest rival. I can't fault them. Great price and really fast.

First class service

Placed an order Monday evening, had two e-mails on Tuesday to confirm delivery time and date and the product arrived Wednesday morning bang on time! If there was an option to rate higher than 5 stars then I would. Very impressed :-)

Great Service.

My package arrived next day and I was able to track it's progress with amazing precision. Great price (for 780g Multimat air bed). All in all they gave great service. Highly recommended!

What is said on the tin

Product arrived quickly and was exactly what we ordered. Delivery company allowed us to request parcel left in a safe place which was a bonus.

Terms and Conditions.

Hiya, your terms and conditions have a section that isn't legal and this renders your whole terms and conditions useless.

Your section which describes damaged and incomplete goods is against the Sale of Goods Act.
If any item is delivered damaged or incomplete a customer is entitled to a full refund and for you to retrieve the item/s.
The customer is not liable by law for any costs endured because of damage caused by bad packaging or the delivery firm.
Your company is responsible for the item until the point of delivery.
A customer does not have to prove the delivery company caused the damage either.

Having terms which incorrectly state a consumers rights is illegal.
You must remove or change this section of your terms and conditions.


Part Delivery/Damaged Goods
All your goods should arrive in perfect condition; however, if you do receive any goods that appear to be faulty or damaged, we must be advised within 48 hours of receipt. We will do everything possible to ensure your delivery arrives on time and intact, we will not accept responsibility for any additional expenses incurred due to late or incomplete deliveries.

Thank you for your legal help but reading your advice I feel I need to clarify a few points. Where in our t & c's do we state that we charge for collecting goods that are faulty, damaged or incomplete on delivery as you have implied?

We are fully aware of our legal obligations regarding goods being delivered etc. and have never had any issues before.

The section you have kindly copied & pasted states 'we will not accept responsibility for any additional expenses' .......The key word here is 'additional'.. we will always collect faulty or damaged goods, send replacements etc without the need to charge our customers when we (or our delivery contactor) are responsible without financial penalty for our customers.

I purchased two lamps and collected from store. Nice and quick, just walked in, collected and walked out again. Perfect service just before Christmas!

Electric fan heater - 750/1500 watt

Only manufacturers flimsy box used with no additional packaging used. Heater arrived dented on front.

Fan heater safety tip over switch not working. Not your fault but manufacturer had fitted safety switch upside down!!!

No time to exchange so fixed both problems myself.

Now fixed and working well

Failure to phone back

Visited their Quest stand and found the enclosure that I was looking for. Unable to order at show as I could not remember which Fiammi awning I had, was promised that if I rang before weekend they would honour show offers. Rang Friday and got answering machine which promised that if I left name and number I would be contacted. Monday no call so rang again. Spoke to Andy who said that he was the shop manager. He was not sure if the enclosure would fit my awning but promised that, without fail, someone with the information would ring me that morning. 30 hours later still waiting.

Sorry to hear that it took a while to actually speak to someone in our awning department. It can be very busy in the shop after a show finishes, especially with the NEC. I have spoken with the salesman in question and he assures me that he tried to contact you that afternoon regarding the awning you wished to purchase, but unfortunately couldn't get hold of you and was unable to leave a message.

We do our very best to return customer phone calls, having built up a fantastic reputation over the last 30 years we do not wish to tarnish it by not responding to peoples phone calls.

Excellent service and very friendly.

Brought a folding camper, Terry was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Had to travel a way to get there, but was so worth the journey. Also brought lots of accessories, which are very competitively priced. Would definitely visit there again. Also placed an online order, quick delivery and well packaged. See you again soon camping international.

Poor customer services

I have a problem with a tent I purchased in May that is leaking. It has only been used twice and leaked on both occasions, the second time quite significantly.

I emailed info@camping-intl.com on Thursday evening explaining the problem and asking where we go from here, as I am looking for a replacement/exchange.

I have not received any reply/acknowledgement from my email, despite using the email address clearly shown on the website.

Very felpful well stocked great shop with terry being the very best

We went into the shop looking to buy some bits for are folding camper.a very well stocked shop with everything you could think of. We then looked at a new folding camper just to see what new ones are like,that's when terry came over to speak to us and what a very helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable man he is. We ended up buying a brand new folding camper and trading in are old one. Very pleased with how we were delt with and made to feel welcome and important as you would hope to expect.
Looking forward to using it now

Very cold approach to customers. I felt I was in the way.

When ever I have used this store I don't feel very welcome as if I'm in the way.. No smiles, the awning department you can be left ages without assistance. I have had to go down stairs ask ask for help... It there was another camping shop in the area I would use them.

Excellant service helpfull and friendly

Just purchased a second hand folding camper from Terry he was very helpful new everything about the campers, we didn't feel like we were being pushed into buying it, he is very patient. We are very pleased with the purchase, and can't wait to use it.

Impressive customer service and after sales care

We ordered a new caravan awning and various accessories from Camping International and have been very impressed by the consistently good and prompt customer service whenever we have contacted them via email or over the telephone. Having unfortunately experienced some manufacturing faults with one product (no fault of Camping International), we have swiftly resolved the problem with a replacement without needing to chase up the issue. Each person with whom we have dealt with has been efficient and courteous and we will definitely purchase from Camping International again.
