Canadian Appliance Source, founded in 2008, has developed into a forerunner of modern appliance retail. Our model is unique in that our focus has always been on providing our customers with the personalized, thoughtful help and advice of an appliance specialist. Whether online or in-store, CAS customers receive knowledgeable advice, expert service, and quality appliances at exceptional prices. Our goal is to leave each customer with the certainty they made the right choice buying from us.
Now with more than 40 locations, our mission has grown to be the largest national appliance retailer in Canada. However, we will be a coast-to-coast retailer with a difference: we will still offer each customer that same personalized advice and unique in-store experience. We will do this by maintaining the exemplary level of training each sales associate receives; we will do this by ensuring every member of the CAS team shares our values of respect, responsibility, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We will do this by empowering everyone in our company to provide our customers with the expertise they deserve. CAS has always stood apart from the competition, and as we grow, we will continue to do so. We now have the resources, the ability, and most importantly, the drive to be the best appliance retailer in Canada.
Although we have grown in size, we have never lost our focus on creating our unique, customer-centric, in-store experience. Each CAS store has a boutique feel, features streamlined, modern displays, and customers are serviced by personable, knowledgeable staff. We pay attention to the details to make the shopping experience as pleasant as possible.

Our sales person was very knowledgeable and personable. Sales process was quick and easy. Delivery drivers were polite. Would have been nice if they had shoe covers on their boots. Washer was installed quickly but it was just jamed in and the hoses should have a 90 degree elbow. The delivery truck also leaked a substantial amount of oil All in all I would buy here again
Mr. Hargun Riyat was very patient and professional. He assisted us with the purchase of our appliances after understanding our requirements. He also went out of his way to make sure we were notified us about the time of delivery. Excellent customer service.

I am writing to share my experience, which I found to be misleading and frustrating from start to finish.
I was told that a wall oven was available and that installation could be arranged. After completing the purchase, I was left to sort out installation and uninstall logistics entirely on my own. No meaningful guidance was provided—only a phone number that did not lead to any solution.
Delivery was advertised as free, both on the company’s website and through direct messages. Despite this, I was later charged an unexpected delivery fee. When I questioned the charge, the explanation changed and was inconsistent.
The most serious issue is that the wall oven weighs 257 lbs. This critical information, along with the safety and logistical challenges of uninstalling and removing such a heavy appliance, was not clearly disclosed or supported at the time of sale. This created a significant problem only after payment had already been taken.
Overall, the experience was marked by poor communication, misleading pricing, and a lack of accountability once the transaction was completed. I would not recommend this business to others based on my experience.

Sonia Clair was able to quickly and efficiently respond to our request for a delivery.
Over the course of the past 4 years while my new house was being built, I have appreciated the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff, both online, on the phone, and in person.
They have included recently
Rayan Seepersand
Michael Monroe
Summer Ahmad.
Very much appreciated their patience, efficiency, and ability to resolve issues quickly. I found them knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a smooth purchase and delivery process.
My sincere gratitude🪷
This is my third and final update on our experience with Canadian Appliance Source—and I’m writing it because, just like the last two times, I expect CAS will respond publicly with an apology and a promise to follow up. Let me be clear: they never do. Their responses are nothing but smoke and mirrors to appear like they care.
Here's the short version of what happened:
We ordered appliances through CAS, including paying them for installation. Their technician (QuickContract, I believe) came to install the dishwasher, only to discover it was leaking. He immediately uninstalled it and left. CAS told us to contact the manufacturer, GE, who was actually great—they sent someone out. But the GE tech couldn't properly test the unit because it was uninstalled (thanks to CAS’s installer). Even so, he repaired the issue.
Since then, it’s been a nightmare dealing with CAS. Their customer service has been rude, unhelpful, and has hung up on me multiple times. After one of my earlier reviews, someone from CAS reached out and promised to resolve things. That went nowhere. The installer had closed the work order, and CAS needed to reopen it. That was days ago. We've emailed twice—no response.
Now, we are being forced to find and pay for our own technician to reinstall the dishwasher, even though CAS already charged us for installation. So not only did they fail to provide the service we paid for, but they’re leaving us out of pocket again to fix their mess.
If you're considering ordering from Canadian Appliance Source—don’t. But if you must, get everything in writing. And understand this: once you’ve paid, they will not stand behind their promises.

Received missed courtesy call for next day delivery time, called back and spoke to Minousha. She confirmed my delivery date and time, was professional and courteous. Thank you!
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the appalling service I have received from one of your representatives, Andy. His lack of professionalism and competence in handling what should have been a straightforward issue is deeply concerning.
I explained to him multiple times that the appliance we ordered — valued at $5,000 and part of a total $10,000+ order — does not fit the builder’s designated cutout. Despite this, Andy failed to make a single phone call or even attempt to clarify the matter or offer any assistance. His only response was to emphasize that the unit had been opened — as though that removes all responsibility from your company.
Let me be absolutely clear: the unit was opened by your own delivery team, in our presence, at the time of delivery, to take pictures of it. One unit was opened for inspection; the other was not. Now, being told we are expected to pay $1,250 for a restocking fee on a unit opened by your own staff is unacceptable.
I have made it very clear that I will be paying my builder to adjust the cabinetry at my own cost — but I will not pay an additional $1,250 to Canadian Appliance Source for something that was not our fault. The idea of being penalized with a restocking fee for a brand new unit that we never even used is absolutely ridiculous.
Andy was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in even the most basic customer service skills. He showed no empathy, no solution-oriented thinking, and certainly no professionalism. His conduct reflects poorly on your company’s standards.
As someone who works in the hospitality industry in Guelph — where we’ve ordered thousands of dollars’ worth of appliances from your company for hotel projects — I can confidently say this experience has made us reconsider all future purchases from Canadian Appliance Source. I will also be sharing this experience across public review platforms to ensure other potential customers are aware of what to expect.

Rajaysur Yudish was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was extremely helpful and professional!
I would strongly advise against buying from CAS, and I can’t stress enough how important it is to shop elsewhere, like Costco or Home Depot. It’s heartbreaking to have spent my hard-earned money on a washer that came with issues from the very beginning—loud, disruptive noises that made it impossible to use properly. To make matters worse, when we reached out to CAS for help, they not only refused to replace the defective washer but even turned down our offer to pay for a different model. The lack of compassion and understanding, especially for older customer with a disability, is beyond disappointing. After years of being a loyal customer, I am deeply disheartened by how they’ve treated us. I will never buy from them again. Please save yourself the frustration and choose a retailer that values its customers

: YUDISH RAJAYSUR Was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He explained the pick up process for my microwave purchase and followed with an email immediately. His customer service is exemplary. Please recognize this employee for his diligence.
Placed an order for a fridge asking them to hold it pending renovation completion. When I wanted it delivered never got a response to two emails. When I called the rep I got his answering machine e, but he never returned my call. When I called the office first time around, the phone was hung up. When I called back and requested to talk to someone senior in customer service, I was refused. Instead I was promised my rep would be returning my call. He did not. I had to look up senior management to demand a cancellation of my order. I will never buy anything again from Canadian Appliances.

I had an excellent experience with Canadian Appliance Source, thanks to Aisha’s outstanding customer service. She efficiently handled a change of address for my order and ensured everything was processed smoothly. Aisha’s professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction were truly commendable. If you’re looking for reliable and attentive service, I highly recommend reaching out to her at CAS. Great job, Aisha!
This version keeps your feedback focused on the service without adding personal details.
I needed to rebook my delivery today and was helped by Sheshna. She was terrific. Very professional, efficient and caring. Her service level was great and I hope she is recognized by CAS for her commitment to clients.
The delivery was scheduled very poorly and now I’ve got a range that doesn’t work properly and have been waiting over two weeks for a response of when it might be fixed. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Bought a dishwasher and when I went to install it I discovered it requires a dishwasher install kit with the water line and connector. When I called the salesman there was no answer so I called the store. They indicated that dishwashers don't come with the required hoses so you have to buy it separately (does anyone outside of the appliance industry know this? Do you think the salesman should have mentioned this?) So I reserved a kit from CAS and went to pick it up. Spent another $40, went home only to find they sold me a electrical adapter kit instead. Sent my son back to return it and get my money back only to be told they don't sell the install kit with the water line and that they couldn't accept the electrical adapter kit they just sold me until I filed a form, waited to have it accepted before I could get a refund! So now I have to wait for them to "accept" my return and then drive another hour (I live outside of the city) to get my refund. SERIOUSLY!!!

This is the first time I have used this company to buy appliances and I will not be using them again! I bought a samsung washer/dryer set. The timeframe for them to be delivered was from 3-6 when in reality it ended up they came around 7:20. They communicated the timing well through a real life tracker system which was great.
When the appliances arrived, they realized they did not have the stacking kit which allows the dryer to be secured / placed on top of the washer. Then they told me that the vent system could not be used as it was because there was no space at the back of the machines. They showed me that there is an option for a venting system to be placed on either side of the dryer rather than at the back. However, they do not carry this 'side vent' kit, not will they install it into the dryer. I called the sales associate who sold me the washer / dryer set and he said I would have to pick it up from somewhere else. He gave me a phone number of 'reliable parts'. But I would also have to find a technician to place the piece. Something so easy has been a real hassle for me. I have the dryer sitting in my living room, and the washing machine in place but not hooked up. The part will not come until tomorrow. I have to still find someone to attach the side vent to the dryer. And then the delivery guys need to come back with the stacking kit to put the dryer on top of the washer.
Food for thought: If you sell appliances - have all the possible parts available to your customers, and have technicians available to install the parts. This has caused me a lot of unneeded grief.

My purchase was handled very professionally by Christine Edgar. She was very helpful and made sure to get me the best price possible. Delivery was very fast and the delivery drivers were very professional and even took away my old appliance for me. I have purchased appliances from this company 3 times and have never experienced an issue.
I purchased a refrigerator and range. The ranger top was broke and the refrigerator did not work. Phoned them and they will replace the ranger but not the refrigerator because it was plugged in. Have to go through warranty. They sell broken items and deliver them. One guy said it was my problem.
What I am asking is a replacement for one that works. This one didn't work from day one. CUSTOMER SERVICE
