Amazing products, first class service

Website may be cloned with your data going to fraudsters

Would not allow paypal to be used. Credit card details were then entered. After entering an error message came up.
A week later my card was used 15 times in several different countries. Luckily my bank blocked the card and refunded my money. Think website may be cloned and someone else is gathering data entered on the site. If you have any issues during the check out process please contact you bank.
(It’s not just through data breaches that cyber thieves can steal credit card information. Criminals are using a strategy called “formjacking,” where they use malicious code to steal your credit card details and other information during the checkout process on online retail sites. )

We have had our web team check through the website and there are currently no issues. I would like to inform you that we do not store customers card details, we only store, your address. It would be impossible for someone to access your card details from your account on our website as they don't exist. I also have done some extension research online and i cant find any other cloned website.

Just Perfect

Excellent customer service 10/10

Having received yet another order I have to say I love Candlesdirect, delighted with my order, genuine brand candles at a fraction of the rrp. I have shopped here for a few years now and wouldnt go anywhere else. Their customer service is excellent if ever I had a query. 10/10

Recently ordered some Candles in the Candles Direct Sale. Grabbed a load of bargains on Medium and Large Yankee Candles. Delivery was very fast. Ordered at Weekend and order was with me by Monday. Would def use again.

They don't answer me to the emails

They don't answer me to the emails. The order is still without arriving. I want an answer now or I'm going to file a complaint! A store receives a payment and does not send the product, does not respond to the customer.
I send 2 e-mail and contact on messenger Facebook. No answer

A SCAM

A SCAM: avoid!
Took payment but my order never turned up. Offered for me to choose alternative products as the ones I'd ordered had sold out - presumably hoping I'd end up spending more money. I asked for a refund instead and now radio silence on their side.
Also had my debit card details stolen and used since ordering - suspect this company may have something to do with it, as others have said.
Avoid like the plague.

Disappointing, got my order but no scent throw

Hmm, I'm posting my review here as it seems you can't post reviews on their website. Funny that! I should have realised that it was odd that none of their products have reviews before I ordered from them. Here is the review I just tried to submit on their page:

I ordered 2 large candles, Surprise Snowfall and Fluffy Towels - my first order from Candles Direct. Having had Yankee scented products before I'm used to them filling the room with their scent but despite my hope every time I light these there is barely any scent throw. I keep asking my son and husband of they can smell it but they always say no. I'm sitting right next to the fluffy towels candle right now and it's about halfway down and I can't smell it at all. Really disappointing. Note: upon trying to submit this review with one star the submit button wouldn't work, hmm. Also slightly suspicious that there are no reviews of any of the products I looked at. I'd stay clear! Judging by these reviews here I doubt it's worth me contacting them about my non scent throwing candles 🙄

Credit card details stolen!!!!

Do not use this website unless you want your bank details stolen!!!

Ordered a candle and it showed up as described and on time. The only other website I used my credit card on in this timeframe was Amazon. A few days later, someone used by credit card details to try to buy £1250 from Argos. Conversations with a bank employee revealed that she had also been the victim of credit card fraud shortly after using this website.

Second order delivered very quick with DHL and all great!

This is my second order with CandlesDirect. I ordered during Christmas last year and now.
No issues so far, order reached in 2 days and well packaged each time. I thought it was very carefully packed. From my experience so far, I can recommend using them.

DO NOT Order from this company

DO NOT Order from this company, they take your money and your Order never arrives. Twice e-mailed their Customer service dept who are absolutely useless and don't care, all you get is, ah well it must be christmas post, absolute bo**ocks. Hope they have used my money for their christmas party. Would never recommend them, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Never ordered from candlesdirect.com…

Never ordered from candlesdirect.com but definitely do not order from candles-directuk.com. This is a scammer website. They set up a website called fragrancesforless.co.uk (imitating the real fragrances4less), took our money and did not send the item. Now if you try and get on fragrancesforless.co.uk it directs you to candles-directuk.com. Seems that they systematically imitate websites in order to scam money off people. Quite clever, shame my Wife didn't notice when ordering off them! So if you have a problem maybe double check if you've actually ordered from candlesdirect.com and not candles-directuk.com

I placed an order in early November…

I placed an order in early November that has not arrived. I emailed Candles Direct for an update on 26 November and have heard nothing. It seems my money has been taken with no evidence of the purchased product.

Do Not Use This Company

Placed an order and was told that it was shipped some 2 weeks and haven't ever received the item - have tried more than 8 times to contact and they simply do not respond. Appalled.
