Will it arrive in time for Xmas?
Just like Martines' review from August the 9th I have now waited 2 weeks and still no Avocado oil. A notice from Parcel Force 'a shipment being sent from Capital Wholesalers that is due to be despatched on 08/08/2023 using our Express 24 service.'
Nothing so far and it is the end of day on 18/8/23

Order delayed about 2 weeks
Shipment was not dispatched for about two weeks when it was expected to be dispatched straight away. I raised an enquiry via the company website and received no reply.

Fantastic customer service
I'm updating my review as I emailed Capital Wholesalers with a picture of the stuff that I threw out and asked for a refund on that part, they have responded really quickly and refunded the full amount which goes above and beyond anything I expected.
The issue was with the Parcelforce delivery being delayed but Capital Wholesalers were very friendly and apologetic and did not try to pass on the blame. I'm leaving my initial comment below as I believe the measure of a company is how they respond in situations like this and they could not have done better.

Spent nearly £50 on nice salad stuff and fruit for the week and was really looking forward to it but most of what turned up was either rotten, has been bashed up in transit or will need using straight away.

The van driver to Lauriston Castle in…
The van driver to Lauriston Castle in Edinburgh this morning (Thursday 6th July) reversed round a corner at speed on the road near the cafe and came dangerously close to knocking down some small children. When I challenged him about this, he was unapologetic and abusive.

Ordered the items with 24 hour delivery. Ordered on Sunday and it’s now Thursday, still waiting for the delivery. With the items being fresh and perishable, it’s just not acceptable to have such a delay. I will be asking for a refund.
