Incredible value for money, excellent product! Definitely a new regular customer

Please avoid the stress of using Capital Wholesalers - their customer service appears non-existent and their quality control totally absent.

9 out of 26 items order just didn't appear at all - no email, no telephone call, no warning at all - they just didn't bother. Their "Deluxe Christmas Fruit Box" was also missing items according to the scribbles on the delivery note. Some of the fruit rotten already: unfortunately I can't attach a photo here but the watermelon was clearly over-ripe, the sharon fruit squished and spread all over the rest of the fruit. The oranges taste force grown, etc etc

I emailed them and they've refunded the missing items (no mention of the over-ripe ones or squashed ones at all) although they couldn't even be bothered with a follow up email apologising or anything. I do appreciate that things go out of stock at short notice - but this was a pre-order, over a week in advance.

They proclaim - "We deliver the same top-quality produce we supply to Michelin-starred restaurants, straight to your door" - I very much doubt many "Michelin-starred" places are using them at all - ropey over or under ripe fruit, over a third missing and no customer service.

I don't like to bash local companies, but please avoid this one - bunch of clowns really don't care about their service at all.

We waited in all day for a delivery scheduled for today, 16th, but it never arrived. Would have been useful if we could have been advised if delivery was not going to be possible. Alas this is not the first time a scheduled delivery has not arrived on the designated day

Ordered a fruit and veg box one evening which was delivered the next morning (as planned). The quantity of fruit and veg in the box was huge and of good quality.

I haven't received my order. I have e mailed them four times without a reply from them. I am very upset that they haven't called or e mailed me with an update. It was apparently sent next day Royal Msil delivery on 9th Nov....we are now on the 18th Nov. I will now be requesting a refund from my credit card company

All items were delivered in very good condition,fast and free local delivery would definitely recommend and will shop again.

Yesterday evening, I placed an order for 1kg Girolle mushrooms on Capital Wholesalers' website. The order was taken, I was offered an opportunity to make a donation to a food bank charity (which I did), it was confirmed by email and all seemed well. This afternoon, I have received an email from Capital Wholesalers telling me "Order #Capital111136 was canceled at your request and your payment has been refunded." Whilst I understand (and appreciate) the order has been cancelled (by Capital Wholesalers, not me!), I do NOT understand why they have items for sale they do not have; they take money for items they do not have; they invite donations they will not make; they have the impertinence to say the customer requested the cancellation, which is a lie, and they do not bother to apologise for wasting everyone's time … including their own! I can hardly believe Capital Wholesalers can exist with this business plan!

I ordered a fruit and veg box for next day delivery and the money has been taken from my account.

4 days later and I haven't received it. Despite sending 3 emails to give them an opportunity to resolve this for me, I still haven't received a reply from them.

They can't be contacted via telephone. Extremely disappointing service and I won't be using them again, which is really a shame as I like supporting local businesses.

Lovely produce, nice and fresh and delivered quickly.

Can't comment on the quality of the produce as, despite paying for "Next Day" delivery (5 days ago) i'm still waiting fpr the goods.
VERY Dis satisfied.

I ordered on line and paid for next day delivery as the web site said this item was in stock, the order has not been received. Any attempts to contact Capital Wholesalers have been ignored, as stated on there web site they do not answer the telephone, their web chat does not connect and emails have been ignored.

We thought we would try Capital Wholesalers since they sounded amazing. We got our delivery on Monday without issue but immediately noticed when we’d unpacked that items were missing.
The fruit and vegetables we got looked amazing but barely lasted the week, with us having to food waste a portion on Thursday due to mold, even though it was properly stored.
For the missing items we tried to contact Capital Wholesalers and got zero response. They don’t respond to emails, the live chat on the website doesn’t work, and when we phoned the number we found we were told that it was another part of the business that deals with the retail orders and they couldn’t help. In the end we got a part refund but are still missing money owed for items that were said to be delivered but in fact were not.
Due to zero communication, missing items and food items that didn’t last 4 days, we cannot recommend Capital Wholesalers and have to give them the lowest rating. This was our experience and we will never order from them again.
