Don’t bother to pick up from the supplier.
Bought an item and decided to collect from the supplier to save time. On arrival no clear signage for the company premises. Eventually found the office and went to the enquiry window. I was informed that the shop next door was the collection point. This shop was titled Marine Supplies and was locked on arrival. I eventually found a contact number on the website and was told someone would be with me shortly. Someone came, took the details and told me the parcel had been dispatched by courier!? Apparently a mistake on their part. The parcel delivery info on their site quotes Royal Mail at 3 to 5 working days and 5 to 10 working days depending on which option you pick . The actual service was APC courier which came in 2 working days ( although I requested to pick up and invoiced as such). Definitely not geared up for supplier pick up ! I would recommend paying the postage and it should be with you in a couple of days, plus a lot less hassle!

Hi there, I am really sorry you had a bad experience on this occasion. We do use a variety of couriers to try and expedite delivery when it's busy, which does include APC, Royal Mail and others. Our Click and Collect service is something we are working on and we thank you for your feedback.

Our supplier used a courier that's usually relatively reliable, but when you called us to tell us there was an issue, we did our very best to get it resolved and another awning sent out to you as soon as we could. Unfortunately, as you could not give us an address or any relevant detail regarding the possibility of the awning being mis-delivered, we were only able to get the item replaced for you, which we did as quickly as we could. Thank you and we do hope you enjoy your Fiamma product.
