Horrible customer service and overall rip off.
I ordered new brakes for my VW. We ended up getting rid of the vehicle before the breaks arrived, so I am attempting to return them. They are still sealed in the boxes they shipped them to me. I paid $466 for the brakes, and they are only willing to give me 250 in return plus I have to pay for shipping to send them back. Another 60 bucks or so. I understand a restocking fee, but 45% restocking fee is crazy and robbery. They say they will send you a label and take it out of your refund. I have tried to reach out to get the return label via email, call and chat. Email gets no response. Phone and chat you just wait on hold for 30-45 minutes. After 45 minutes I leave. So, I can't get a return label from them. Horrible customer service and overall rip off.

Ordered SUV Door handle. When I placed order, there was shipping date was 9/13/25. My cousin came to DC from NC due to family issue. Now shipping date is 9/16/25. I called customer service few times. No one helped / cared. He unable to pick part on time. I have to ship to him. It defuses the purpose to save money or time. I have to ship him to his place after I get it. Carparts.com. prices are pretty inexpensive but everything comes from China. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy internal engine or transmission parts. Don't waste your money buying extended warranty. And whatever you do, don't chat with customer service. Customer service is AI and not a very good one. They have limited resources. I bought an inner fender. It was tagged and labeled LF inner fender however it was a RF. I thought, ok, it was pulled wrong so I bought another LF....still got a RF. Their "customer service" couldn't wrap their head around that so I ended up buying elsewhere and decided I didn't need to do business with carparts.com. All I wanted was a little information and ended up way more frustrated than I needed to be.

Carparts sent me the wrong part. It does not fit. The Return Process is a nightmare. They wants you to wait 2 days after you submit a return request for the "next Step" in the process. I can't get a return label. If you call the customer service number, you will either be put on hold forever, or will receive busy signals. Communications suck. Customer service sucks. DO NOT do business with this company.

Ordered a part that arrived in a box that was perfect but part inside was several damaged. Ordered a replacement and all that showed up were ruined parts that were unusable. 3 times In a row. Boxing up ruined parts and mailing them..total waste of time.

Customer service was dismissive about my concerns of how long it would take for the part to arrive after I spent the money for the part. The day the part was guaranteed to arrive, changed to 3 days past what was advertised!! They are not the best price, or the friendliest customer service once they have your money! Would not recommend and I will search for another company who values their customers over their greed,lack of integrity and quality to keep their promises doing right by those who buy what they are advertising but don't stand behind!!
Evan Fischer Catalytic Converter Exhaust Manifold
Evan Fischer Catalytic Converter Exhaust Manifold cracked twice. Mechanic had to remove the manifold send it to a welder and replace, twice. The second time the mechanic, fortunately, had an OEM exhaust manifold from a previous customer on hand that required a small weld. I use this car for business (drive 60k to 70k miles per year) so having to stop to repair and replace the manifold cost way more than the cost of the part. Junk metal used to manufacture the manifold. Not interested in spending any more time and hassle in returning the part.
Did not receive my order on the delivery date
I ordered front and rear motor mounts, the tracking shows my order was supposed to be delivered yesterday and I have not received it!! Customer service is not available on a Saturday and the chat service is a bot so I can’t find out where my order is or when I’ll get it!! I expected to have my parts on time so I won’t order from this shit company again!
Paid for next day delivery and it did not come next day
I had 1 good experience but my other experience i paid over $50 for next day delivery and i did not get it the next day. i emailed customer service multiple times about a refund for the shipping and no one ever got back to me.
Two of the same part, instead of a matching set.
I received two drivers side headlight brackets when I was supposed to receive a set (both sides) , and it took over a week to get a response. “Jessica” asked me to confirm the part was incorrect which I did by comparing it to the part I’m trying to replace. “They are both drivers side” I responded.
Over a week ago. No response from them. So I sent another message that said the same thing. That’s when Gmail informed me that my recipients mailbox is full and they can no longer have mail delivered to them at that email. Which is carparts.com customer service. So carparts.com customer service has a full email inbox and can no longer accept incoming messages, and my last two messages weren’t delivered. It almost seems as though they never intended to replace the wrong part. I’ll update this if anything changes.
Caveat Emptor
This company does a horrible job communicating with its customers. The chat feature is a black hole with no f-up by CP.com. The shipping is a C at best and often late. I ordered a windshield washer reservoir w/pump what I finally received 12 days later a reservoir w/o a pump. They charge top dollar for shipping and still can't deliver on time. They also take no responsibility for shipments unless you purchase insurance at of course an extra charge. I'll doubt I'll use them again and just hope I can quickly get this order finally resolved.

Dishonest business, misleading listing…
Their listing in misleading and untrustful. I ordered and paid for part they have listed on July 21st. They did charge my PayPal account (immediately!) just to send an e mail canceling my order 2 days later "sorry out of stock".
Really? this kind of behavior initiated in covid time by some vendors, where they would list in original low price just to cancel your order once they find out the prices has gone up by some other venders, a shameful (if not illegal) business practice.
They have refused refund after canceling order and refused to respond to emails. Eventually I had to file claim through PayPal to get my refund

If I can give these people zero I so would! I have been going back and forth with them since March about the wrong item being shipped. I have yet to received a refund on this item. I already ordered the correct part from a different website so there’s no need for a replacement. Zero out of ten recommended. A hassle to get any information on the return
