No help whatsoever. There's no need for me to even explain my review, there are so many others who have already said the same thing I'm going through with my so-called warranty. Very sad.

Leave it on the lot until the warranty takes affect.

We purchased a vehicle warranty when we purchased our used car on 6/22. The vehicle's driveshaft went out on 6/24. No warning. Because the paperwork wasn't processed until 6/28 the vehicle's repair claim was denied. So I advise anyone buying this warranty to purchase the car and warranty then leave it on the dealer lot until the warranty takes affect.

We purchased a used vehicle for our…

We purchased a used vehicle for our TEENAGE daughter from a dealership, they sold us extended warranty due to things that can happen. The car after about 6 months starting having issues, we took it to a mechanic and that's when everything went to crap.
1st- the coverage only covers up to $70 an hour (no one in Las Vegas is that cheap) never the less I understood
2nd- when the shop diagnosed the issue they claimed that it wasn't covered when it clearly said it on the coverage for turbo replacement on a 2003 beetle. I had to fight that tooth and nail (lost) the battle
3rd- paid for the 2nd to best policy to make sure we are covered and they haven't helped one bit
We have now sold the car and have a year of crappy coverage on a car we DONT OWN and want a refund for the remaining year that is left.
DO NOT, I MEAN DO NOT purchase from this company they are full of lies and deceit!!!!!!

Please do not waste your money!!!

Please do not waste your money on this company. I’m disgusted that I got screwed over and wasted thousands. They claim to cover things they will not. Don’t bother calling either, because they will not answer or return your calls.

WORST WARRANTY COMPANY EVER!

I would not even give them a 1 star if I didn't have to in order to write a review. This company is worthless. I tried to cancel my warranty today and they will not refund my money. I tried to use the warranty about a month ago and they wanted to put used brake parts on the vehicle. Who does that? I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. It is costing me more to have it than it is worth. I will contact the BBB.

These people are absolutely worthless

These people are absolutely worthless! I was persuaded by the dealer I bought my car from in September 2021 that this was a great warranty company and I wasted $1,800 adding it to my loan. I got stuck with and $8000 repair bill this month due to engine and powertrain issues that they stated were not covered. What is covered? 2 words "Absolutely Nothing"! This company is just taking peoples money and offering nothing in return.

I have a rear axel seal leaking

I have a rear axel seal leaking, they will not cover it. WTH The warranty they sale is not worth the paper it is sold on. I ask what it covered on the rear axel & differential. The CSR was courteous, but it took a few minutes for her to find it. BUYER BEWARE IF YOU PURCHASE THIS CONTRACT YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY. I tried to dispute it with her supervisor and she said there is no dispute allowed.

this warrantee company is crap

this warrantee company is crap, the worst customer service i have ever dealt with in my entire life. If and when you can get anyone on the phone they are extremely rude and do not care about you as a customer at all. they do care about the money we gave them for this crap warrantee. but that is where it ends.
my vehicle has been at a shop now for 2 weeks and we are just waiting for cars protection plus to finalize paper work and pay out to the transmission shop. but all we are getting is ducking and dodging on the payout. so at this point my vehicle is being held hostage at the shop waiting for this warrantee company to pay out. if you are smart unlike me you will stay away from this company and not give them a penny.

Fraudulent Company

I called to start a claim a representative then told me to have the repairs done and call with the bill to be reimbursed. Upon calling back they told me that there wasn't any record of that conversation and they would not pay for any repairs.
THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!

I purchased this contract and it’s a joke. My name is Anthony Voyles. They are refusing to fix my car. Said it was pre-existing damage which it is not as the mechanic said no way to tell that. I am bringing legal action on this company as they refuse to fix my car. If anyone wants to be on this lawsuit against this company, leave a review of how my attorney or myself can contact u.

Not worth the money

Friend's van needs an alternator and she has a CARS service contract. She has to pay $100 deductible and sales tax.. ok. She also has to pay the $145 diagnosis charge. CARS only pays for a used alternator, so they will only pay $145 toward the $385 part. They only pay up to $70 an hour. No reputable shop charges that low of a rate, so she has to pay the difference in labor of $113.
So on an $850 repair, CARS is only going to pay about $250. What ever they are charging for their service contracts, it's not worth it.

I gave 1 star but actually they don't…

I gave 1 star but actually they don't deserve any. CARS Protection Plan is a joke and a rip off. We bought our car in January of 2018 and that summer had to take it in to have the air conditioner repaired. Of course they wouldn't cover what was repaired so we had to pay for it out of pocket. Now 2 yrs later our air conditioner needs repaired again, it needs a new compressor but they said they will only pay up to $165 for a used or after market one and the repair shop was told that they would have to find one and that CARS would not send them one to use. Now it will cost over $800 to replace the compressor and if we replace it then we will have to pay out of pocket for it all again. We even have the Ultimate Value contract which is supposed to cover everything. We don't have that kind of money to spend on repairs as we are both on disability and can barely make our other monthly bills. This company is the biggest RIP off company that I have ever dealt with in all my 62 years. Very disappointed and will definitely NOT recommend to anyone. My advice to anyone considering this company is turn around and run as fast and far away from them as you can. You will end up very disappointed and very p****d off.

Worthless warranty, don't waste your time or money

Like many others on this page, I would give CPP negative stars, if the review software allowed. I purchased a used car from Lansing (Kansas) Automart and bought the four year CPP extended warranty due to the car having over 100K miles. Due to the high milage, CPP charge an additional $100 ($1650 total) to provide this coverage. I had minimal problems with the car for the first three years, so I just paid for the repairs without using the warranty. In Dec of 2019, the engine started to have a miss and the check engine light came on, so I took it to my mechanic to diagnose the problem. My mechanic determined that it was an internal engine problem, so he contacted CPP to get authorization to teardown the motor to further diagnose the problem. The CPP customer service representative (George) was rude and very combative from the initial call. CPP said to teardown the engine to better diagnose the problem but they couldn't commit to paying for any of the work until the cause of the problem was identified. My mechanic said after the first call that they were not going to pay for anything! My mechanic tore the engine down and determined that a valve was damaged (not a burnt valve, but a chip in one of the valves). CPP indicated that they wouldn't cover the repair unless the mechanic is able to determine what caused the valve to chip. They coordinated for an independent mechanic to come out to verify the damage and what caused it. The independent mechanic agreed with my mechanic that based on what could be seen, there is no way to determine what caused that valve to chip. CPP wanted my mechanic to continue tearing down the car (exhaust system) at my expense in an effort to find the potential cause (a waste of time and money). After several weeks of trying to get CPP to live up to their worthless warranty, I finally authorized my mechanic to make the $2,300 in repairs. CCP offered to give me a $500 courtesy refund (because they know the repairs should have been covered) but I refused to accept that offer. I contacted John - the gentleman replying to several of these reviews three months ago and he said he would review my case and get back with me. I haven't heard back from him yet, even though I've called and left several messages. I'm going to take CPP to small claims court to try and recoup my money on this fraudulent warranty. I'd suggest many of you do the same. If enough of us do, maybe this fraudulent company will go out of business and stop taking advantage of all of us.

SCAM I bought a 4 month warranty and…

SCAM I bought a 4 month warranty and about 3 weeks to a month after I drove my car away I had an oil pump failure causing other things to go wrong in my car. Not only did they only approve 400 dollars for the work (7000 worth of work) they told me after the work I authorized was done that they’re not even giving me the 400 because I only had the oil pump done and they approved the work for the rockers while the dealership I brought it to told this company that the only reason the rockers need to be replaced is because the oil pump failed. Their office hours are supposedly 7-7 m-f but if you call at 745 on a Thursday they’re not open. Do not trust this company with a dollar! They don’t even deserve one star but I guess they’ll get one because that’s the lowest it goes!

I wish I could put negative 100 stars I…

I wish I could put negative 100 stars I just got off the phone with customer service around 4:50 on 3/30/2021 the lady I talked to is so rude I’m just disgusted and angry. I am furious. I talked to her the first time And she said she was going to give me a moment so I could give her my information that was on paperwork in my drawer, and she never gave me a moment literally hung up right after. I then called a second time and talk to her and she was being extremely rude and not helpful at all. Refused my customer service and to answer my question which was a question she could answer. Then hung up on me again. Such a waste of money and time. Just to leave you hanging at the end of the call and angry and upset. I am not a person to write reviews unless needed. Mind you this women never gave me her name both times when approaching my call and I got hung up on each time so never even got to ask. But I hope who ever manages these reviews really steps up and figures out this ladies name who was working this day and time.

Highly Recommend Cars Plus

My name is Ken Reed, I’m an attorney in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. I wanted to give high marks to Brandon Ryan, with Cars Protection Plus, was professional and responsive to my car problems. I bought a used car and could not have a better warranty, even if I had purchased a new car. My Q-50 is great ride and because Brandon’s warranty was honored by Infiniti of Northern Kentucky, I was so pleased that all repairs were done promptly and covered. Heck they even gave me a rental for free, just as though I purchased the car with the dealer. Brandon cleared everything with Mike Wilson at Infiniti. So I highly recommend this warranty. It has already paid for itself. I purchased the car from NKYAUTO and they recommended Cars Protection Plus, and I’m so glad I did.
