Absolutely brilliant company. I’ve been with Casting Collective a long time now. Fees are reasonable. I get A LOT of really really good bookings. I am kept well-informed at all times if details of bookings change. If there are any queries on pay chits, eg a special direction payment missed off, it is very quickly checked and remedied. And the admin staff are top class - professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and also very nice people. No hesitation signing up for next year.

I've had the pleasure of working with Casting Collective across several major productions since 2017, and they’ve proven time and again why they’re one of the best in the business. Their team is dedicated, professional, and always on top of communication—keeping us updated on production schedule changes, and any last-minute adjustments that are so common in this industry.
Recently, I’ve been part of a long-running movie with a few big crowd days, and the Casting Collective team made sure everything ran smoothly. They consistently go above and beyond to keep us informed, which is very much appreciated. It’s been an absolute joy to be part of this project, a really amazing group of SAs, ADs and crew!
Having recently celebrated their 25th anniversary, a huge milestone! I would recommend them without hesitation. A big thank you to Casting Collective. — Here’s to many more successful years! 🥂!

There are lots of extras/supporting artistes agencies, some good, some very bad.
I believe that The Casting Collective is amongst the best and this is confirmed by other extras/supporting artistes to whom I have spoken.
Their communications are very clear and friendly and they are proactive, eg, suggesting that a obtaining a DBS check is likely to lead to more work.
If you have a problem or a query whilst working for them they are quick to respond.
People have complained on TrustPilot that they have been given confirmed days that are then taken away.
This does happen with any agency for whom you work, not just TCC: if the production decides that it has sufficient scenes featuring extras/supporting artistes in the can there isn't anything the agency can do except withdraw/cancel the days. So, if you have to blame someone, blame the production not TCC!
Everyone there works really hard to ensure that every project with which they are involved is a success.
I think their pay rates are good.
On some productions, you are also fed extremely well (though obviously this is outside the control of TCC); on almost every production, if you are friendly and polite, you will meet a great crowd of other extras/supporting artistes and the film crews can be delightful as well.
As with everything in life, the experience of working on a film is what you make it: go with the right attitude and you will have a great time.
In turn, TCC will be valued for supplying "good" extras/supporting artistes, leading them to be selected for more projects which, in turn, potentially means more work for all us extras/supporting artistes: a virtuous circle!

As someone who deeply admires the aesthetic of periods between the 1920s and 1960s, I loved the opportunity to become fully immersed in a period drama while also witnessing the admirable hard work of such an incredible team. I really appreciated the opportunity to feel part of a talented and dynamic set while also enjoying meeting such diverse and facinating people.
Looking forward to leaping back in time with you again,
Marissa

Highly recommend.
I joined Casting Collective for a while. They always have big projects as they have a fantastic project team.
I can feel that each of them are working hard to look for opportunities for clients. For example, this year, I am booked for a big production that I have been working on for months. Their casting directors/bookers are reachable and communicative. More, both accounts and bookers are very responsive. They are able to speak to production for SA's benefits.
All in all, am happy with Casting Collective. They only reason why not 5 star is always room for improvement. For that, I am happy to suggest separately. Thank you Casting Collective.

I am quite new to film work after retirement and so far have had 2 film SA jobs which I have found very enjoyable, meeting and working with some lovely friendly people. The staff at Capital Collective have been helpful and professional so thanks from me

Casting Collective make everything so easy - I always get job reviews the next day, they follow up any queries quickly and they get me the most work! And they’re all lovely which helps!

Continually messed around with being pencilled for jobs and released at last minute. Changing confirmed dates to pencilled to avoid paying penalties when eventually released at short notice.
Keeping multiple SA’s on standby pencilled for jobs that only require a fraction of the numbers pencilled to then release most people at last minute.
Not being honest about true reason for cancelling confirmed dates.
Poor communication and generally not caring about us as people, just treated as numbers to fill a gap when required and dropped with no second thought.
The Casting Collective continue to provide the best service in the Supporting Artiste business. Highly recommended!

Friendly, professional company with excellent communication at every stage.
I've had five days work on three different productions since registering in June (and been put forward for a lot more) and every experience has been absolutely fantastic and I've loved every moment.
Just wish I had more holidays from the day job so I could do more!
Thanks to everyone at The CC for their help and support! Genuinely some of the best fun I've ever had, and, unbelievably, I actually get paid for it!

I have been with Castingcollective for 14 years.
They are an excellent company to work through, I have had a lot of work from them, the last one paid me 4 figures.
I thoroughly recommend them.

This agency will always hold a special place being the first agency to book me a shoot.
My castings and process after shoots has been great.
The only issue I would say is that I don't get many come through although I have to appreciate that there are many Supporting Artists on their books so they have to cater for everyone.
Other than that.... perfect!

Nearly five years with Casting Collective now - and still absolutely zilch to show for it. No engagements at all, despite keeping my details up to date and responding positively to their communications. They seem a nice, friendly bunch but a bit more pro-activity on behalf of those who are clearly not having much luck over a very long period wouldn't go amiss!

Been on the books of CC since 2020 but obviously due to the pandemic did not get any jobs until 2022. Found the people at CC easy to deal with but did not get any work in my last year from Sept 23- Aug 24. Are there too many people on the books of CC?
Was offered some jobs in London and North Yorkshire (which was too far away from Merseyside) as well as an unsuitable role cross dressing for an advert so have left my contract to run down. Good company but far too few jobs offered when comparing to SA's at other companies.

I have always found CC to be very helpful and they regularly sent me requests through to be put forward for castings.
I would like to thank Priya, James and Molly for their assistance.

Casting Collective have been very hit and miss for me and I have said YES to most availability job requests and as a full time SA it has been disappointing over the years, more releases than bookings unfortunately!
I always keep my profile up to date and sometimes if someone drops out last minute or went sick I felt that I was only there for that reason but having said that I am working on a great production offering quite a few days than usual although not as many as first told by the 2nd AD and CC booking out my calendar in red, the crew and catering is wonderful so I am very grateful for that! Hopefully I have turned a corner by CC recognising my efforts with the love, dedication and reliability that I put in to my work!
The few bookers that offer me the work are all on their game, very efficient and the communication is very good and payment is quick not like some of these agencies that hang on to our money for 6 - 8 weeks! I would like to thank Siobhan, Eloise & Sarah for their continued support....
