Reliable movers where the communication leading up to the move was excellent

The guys turned up with a smile and did the job as promised. There were a few layers to the move and lots of stairs and they did it all in great spirits, on time and on budget. Can not recommend these guys highly enough. The were awesome.

The guys that came to move us were exceptional. They bent over backwards to get us all sorted out. Can’t thank them enough. Super nice, super polite, hard workers and just great people.

The below photos show what $1,800 buys you from CBD Movers. The worst customer service ever. They broke our bed, left our entire kitchen behind, all our bikes and the truck was nowhere near full. I beg you not to use this company. Horrendous. No care. They threw photos and cards off our fridge, broke my ledlight lamp, put a SHELL at the bottom of a box. Used none of the bubble wrap and paper I purchased from them. They didn't even use all the boxes I purchased from them. They emptied my sons toys that were already in a box into ANOTHER BOX. One man held the tiny cardboard boxes open while the other dumped our belongings unceremoniously in. They had to be constantly together and did not communicate with us at all. They used an Allen key to SLOWLY take beds apart. They had to borrow my partners drill. They left all the screws for the beds behind. CBD offered for movers to come back today but I had to pay. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Definitely avoid CBD Movers!!!! I booked them a month ago to move furniture from our place on our settlement day yesterday and they didn’t turn up. I specifically told them multiple times when I booked that everything had to be moved out by a certain time. I rang them multiple times yesterday and first they said they couldn’t get a hold of the removalist and then they said that the removalist truck had broken down. I told them settlement was at 1pm and they said they can have someone come between 3-4pm and I said to them that I would be in breach of contract if that happened. They were not apologetic and did not offer any responsibility. Luckily, I was able to find last-minute removalist who turned up within 10 minutes and saved the day. CBD Movers did not even contact me to tell me that something had happened. Totally appalled by their unprofessionalism and lack of care. I have just read your reply and I have not put my full name on this review on the internet, but I can assure you it was definitely CBD Movers. I have numerous emails from them to prove it.

Quick, efficient and good communication from the removal guys

The removalist broke my chair and damaged the TV screen and scratched and chipped my bed at various locations. I asked them to put the tv in the box as I had the box but they didnt care and broke the screen. Now they tell me it is not covered by insurance. Highly unprofessional and they didnt even wrap the items. They will deceive you by saying everything is insured but once they damage then you are on your own. DONT BOOK WITH THEM. CANCEL IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BOOKED.
Dont trust me ? Victorian Govt has issued a public warning against them. I cant post links here. You are free to search yourself. "CBD Movers public warning by Victorian Government". I wish I knew it before booking with them.

I had booked for a service one 2 weeks in advance and booking process was very professional. My booking was to commence the work at 2pm and to make sure that the process is happening smoothly I had called them by 10am same day. I was happy to understand that everything is ready and they promised me a call back from the truck driver 30 mins before the scheduled time.
Waited till 2 PM nothing happened. Then called the call center again (pls.understand the call center waiting time is 15+ minute each time).
They said that the truck is on the way, should receive a call now.
Waited till 4 pm , nothing happened. Called them again. They said the truck will reach at 5 pm.
Called again at 5pm, after talking to a number of people at the call center I was informed that the service cannot be done today!
When requested about the seriousness of moving the house on that day itself, I was promised that we will arrange everything by 6.15pm!
Waited till 6.30, then I received a call saying it is not possible to do the work on that day, let's do it tomorrow.
Simply I ended up paying 1 week's extra rent at the old place and new place.
This is CBD movers. Be careful before booking as the customer will end up on the road without any support.

Removalists were friendly and careful with removing furniture and taking out and inside old and new home.

By far the worse experience i have ever had !!
i was booked for a 10-2pm sat waiting an ready with a new born baby for hours on end with no one rocking up, then get a call to say another truck is coming between 3-6pm i cried all day as nothing went to plan an i was left stranded with everything packed an a overtired baby needing to be in a home space
eventually they arrived, men where nice enough but clearly didnt know what they were doing, i have a very small house only 1 person so not much to move they took over 2hrs to load very very slow and not utilizing all space so this mean things were left behind, they drove like a snail when we finally got on the road and when arriving took a stupid amount of time unloading, they stopped unloading at one point an said they cant unload until i have paid due to it now being out of hours. i got sent 3 different payment links NONE of which were the correct amount. they wouldn't unload i was exhausted an needed my bed so i paid the money out of exhaustion even tho it was hundreds more then quoted. they then unloaded some more an then stopped an said i have to pay a $50 fuel levy all of a sudden even tho i ALREADY paid the hourly rate, call out fee and a $75 fuel levy
i told them you cant suddenly change a quote an refused this amount, i lost most my fridge items including my sons medication and breast milk i spent hours collecting due to how long it took, the didnt finish until 10pm
it was a horrible day, so extremely disappointed, angry and fuming what a shit show scam of a company! you should be ashamed of yourself money hungry and need shutting down what a joke !!
