Efficient and courteous

Not pet friendly, if they see any signs of your pet, like your pet’s bed, they will cancel and leave you high and dry.
Drivers turned up, lied to my face, said the truck was not large enough, had to go back and get a larger truck.
When I called the office, they said it was a hygiene issue due to cat fur. I stated that I'm happy for them to leave the pet chair and I will take it myself. They did offer a later time, still with no guarantee the driver would not cancel again, don’t feel safe relying on them again. I’m now left with no movers and three days to move out, and they kept the deposit!

What was supposed to be a straightforward move turned into a frustrating and costly experience. The job was left unfinished, with several items not moved as agreed, forcing me to make alternate arrangements at the last minute.

The team was highly unprofessional — poor communication, lack of accountability, and no clear coordination during the move. To make matters worse, there were hidden costs added along the way that were never properly explained upfront. What you’re quoted is definitely not what you end up paying.

When I raised a complaint, the customer service was extremely disappointing. There was no genuine effort to resolve the issue — instead, I was given an “option” that was completely impractical and did not address the problem at all. It felt like they were just trying to close the case rather than help the customer.

Overall, this service is a complete rip-off for the money charged. Save yourself the stress, time, and extra cost — do not choose this company.

CBD Movers did a solid job from start to finish. Good value for money, turned up on time, and got straight into it without any mucking around. The team was professional, handled everything with care, and made the whole move a lot less stressful than expected.

Would definitely recommend them if you want a reliable, no-fuss move.

Removalists took 2 hours to load 6 chairs and a mattress. They smashed a sauna door, put a hole in a mattress and broke the leg on a tall boy. Despite filling a complaint, having photographic evidence and calling at the time of the damage they are denying all liability because the written statement the removalists wrote contradicts my photos. Completely unreasonable. I warn, do not use. They will take you for a ride.

The team we had assist us move were fantastic. Polite, efficient and most importantly on time.
They made a stressful move so much easier.

The team notified us when they were 20 minutes from arriving. The two guys were so polite. They were such hard working men. Everything was packed into the van with great care. Upon arrival, each carton and item was placed as I wanted. There was not one item that was damaged or broken.
I cannot recommend the van team and CBD any more highly

What ever you do, do not use CBD movers. They are not truthful or professional. They promised no hidden fees and that my deposit formed part of the total cost. They also state no charge for dismantling furniture and seem so professional at the time of booking. However when asked to dismantle a bed they had no tools to do anything and wanted to drive to Bunnings to get allen keys meaning I would be paying them $260 hour to do so. We decided to leave the bed as this would have been too costly so now we have to do this ourselves. I actually wouldn’t even mention this if they had not stolen my deposit. At the end of the job the driver gave me the price to pay which I agreed was correct however he then asked me for a tip. When I declined he said don’t worry he would reduced my price but then add a tip for himself. I thought this was strange but gave them the correct amount. I then asked for my deposit but they said no my items were heavy so they were keeping the money for that. I said this was never discussed but they said they can decide on the day. I have followed every avenue they requested before writing this review. They said they would ring me and I would have my money today which did not happen. I also notice when people leave negative reviews they say they must have the wrong company as they have no records of the job. I have the booking number the names of the workers that moved us so don’t fall for that.

CBD Movers do not deserve any stars. They should not be in business. We had a shocking day waiting all morning when the job was meant to be one hour. The excuse was the guys did not go through a toll road. What probably happened was there was another drop off as our furniture was on its side at the back of the truck, one delivery we don't think so. When the truck arrived, the guys were rude and rough with the few pieces of furniture. We had paid for stairs in our quote but they were too late arriving so we had to put our furniture on a trailer which was now parked next to the truck. Before moving the second piece of furniture they requested their money. My deposit from the day before was not taken off the price, then a surcharge and double the quote. When I expressed my concern, the guys would not move our last piece of furniture out of the truck. I had to pay the larger amount and have tried all afternoon and today to get in contact with the company, but no one will get back to me. Fair Trading will hear about this company. Never ever deal with CBD Removers.

So many things went wrong with this move, The day started badly and ended even worse.

They were 2 hours late despite a 2 hour window. The lead man on the job demanded cash despite on booking I said it would be card payment. The workers then demanded additional $200 for moving one item claiming it was heavy (although they did not remove drawers to make it lighter) and then drove off without completing the job, leaving the chest of drawers in the garage. Note that this job was only for two items! I cannot even imagine the hassle if I had been doing a full house removal!

Company contacted but I was told it would take 2/3 business days to review! Accounts then harassed me at 8:45pm that night despite the job not being completed.

I can only say to take great care if you decide to use this company. I would not recommend.

Update: they organised a different crew to come and finish the job the next day at no charge so that redeemed them although it should never have happened in the first place

When calling and booking their service they are very helpful and tell you almost everything you need to hear. They never tell you the hidden costs but they say everything will be outlined in the booking email. The email never arrives so you’re kept wondering if the removal is going to happen. The day before the removal day they send you a text asking you to confirm via text or email. You reply to the text but you don’t know whether they got it or not. At any rate they get to your site a bit later than the allocated two hours but they get there. They take almost three hours to load the truck with half your two bedroom apartment as though it’s heavy and hard. The heaviest thing I have is my washer and when they were taking it down 6 steps they almost dropped it. They took close to two hours to get to my delivery site and then they complained that my apartment was up one level and they had to walk close to sixty meters. To top it all I had to find that there was a surcharge of $150 for having to walk over 50 meters. When I called to complain one person tells me that that is correct and then I get a call to tell me that I have to pay $200 for the same walk.
Then as I’m putting y things away I fond that they had scratched my children bicycles, my night table, my son’s desk and shelf and bent one of the panels in my fridge. I brought these issues to the attention f the driver and he got upset.
Then I call the office and ask for an email where I can send my complaint and they give me support email address .
I did a search for confirmation and found that that email does not exist.
Needless to say to say I will be telling my friends and family never to use CBD Movers
Now I don’t know who to complain to but more to it know that the damage to my belongings will never be rectified.
In a nutshell I don’t trust CDB movers.

If only there was an option to give negative stars review I would do this.

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!
They went to our property today for March 7, 2026 and started saying they need 4 men and 2 trucks and all our furnitures are heavy when none of them are!! Such a waste of time and space. When we moved to our current space, we did everything ourselves but cannot do because of aging parents.

My husband caught them playing on the phone 5 mins in and starting making excuses that they need to contact their company as standard procedure and 4 men blah blah blah and left the job without us knowing.

WORST REMOVALISTS EVER an DO NOT BOOK! SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Im not only writing because we’re angry, but because its a job that could be done especially by removalists.

Now we are forced to suddenly do everything ourselves and hire our own van.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE and WORST COMPANY.

Hello, the workers did a great job, they helped a lot moving my belongings with care. Thank you to both working for hard work.

Very happy with the service that I received during my move on Mar 01, 2026. Danny and his crew were so pleasant to deal with. I found them to be helpful, honest and goes beyond their job to make things easier for me. I'm a very satisfied customer and I will surely recommend them and CBD Movers to my family and friends.

If i could give them zero star. Worst movets ever. 4hrs late. Call centre in india. Call them 100times to find were mover is, no apology.
Indian movers constantly swearing and extremely rude. No apology for anything. Will report to fair trading. No sure how such companies exist in australia
