I loved how Giorgia Coupland showed me around nicely and she did a great job explaining everything to me in details.
I loved the experience with her.

Never rent or buy with Chancellors! Houses have hidden faults; what you get is not what you signed up for. We’ve been tricked to commit money before we could see the final state of the house – which was terrible, nowhere near ready for takeover. Chancellors are ignoring our requests. And all this after a long and troublesome procedure, with appalling (mis)communication between the numerous incompetent people and external companies employed by them. Wish we hadn’t even approached them.

I had a great experience with Chancellors. They offer a friendly and professional service, providing excellent advice throughout the selling process. Their staff are efficient and always approachable. Once they secured a sale, their dedicated team monitored the progress, kept me updated, and ensured I was well-informed every step of the way. I highly recommend them for their outstanding service and attention to detail.

Unprofessional estate agents. I was shown around a property by an agent that answered 'I am not sure' to 80% of my questions on the property. I then had to chase up the agency a few days after the viewing because I had not heard from them and was faced with the 'another offer was accepted' line. Emails were always laconic. More knowledge and better communication would have been appreciated.

I reported a couple maintenance issues upon moving into a new property. Jason Byrne from East Oxford Lettings responded promptly and kept a clear channel of communication while being respectful. I enjoyed working with him immensely.

I had a good experience viewing properties and applying for a tenancy with Josephine. For the viewings, Josephine went out of her way to include an additional property that I had not spotted in the listings - I appreciated that.

As a Landlord be very careful to read all their terms and conditions especially clause 4.1. They will tie you into paying their fees for eternity if any tenant they introduced to the property is still living in the property. I understand letting agents need to protect themselves from being dropped after 5 minuets but I have been with them for 8 years and have just had enough of the poor communication and ambiguity in their communications. They have hounded previous tenants for rent arrears even though I have requested that they do not. I suspect I will have to pay their fees or take them to court but to threaten the tenants with debt collection when the landlord has specifically asked them not to is morally appalling behaviour. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Chancellors have now replied to this review in double quick time in comparison to dealing with me directly.
They have suggested that I am pursuing a claim with the PRS. Chancellors, through their very unclear, convoluted and vague complaints procedure, did eventually actively encourage me towards the Property Redress Scheme (PRS).
The PRS can only offer compensations for bad service however they cannot affect any terms and conditions, so not a route to end my relationship with Chancellors, and they will have known that when actively pushing me towards the PRS. Better to seek some resolution via the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

So Sad a Company like this playing with the clients.I waste my time to view a property sent all documents and haven’t been accepted. The property price has raised 3 times since that.(Trying to catch someone who will give 2000£ for a 2 bedrooms old flat)
Honestly playing game of earning money with others property. No way to rent anything with this company! B careful!
