I’ve been looking for a flat for a while and finally had some luck with Chancellors. Their agent, Charlie Howlett was brilliant - I was able to book the viewing shortly after the ad went live, viewed the property, and I let him know I was super keen. Charlie got all of the documents out to me that very evening with a few notes on how to best position myself to be selected to rent the property. After following his instructions, I received a congratulatory call from Charlie less than 24 hours later to let me know the landlord had accepted my offer and gave me a move in date.
Delighted with the personable service I received from Charlie at Chancellors Headington and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new home. Thanks again!!

The only downside was the difficulty in reaching the letting department, it often took several attempts to get my calls answered. This was the sole negative aspect of my experience with Chancellors Headington. Charlie Howlett and Freya Barry were both cordial, polite, and friendly. I met Freya only once in person during our house visit, and she was very professional and knowledgeable. Charlie was a pleasure to work with, he was always agreeable, responded to emails promptly, and maintained a high level of professionalism and politeness.

Jude was really lovely! He was always available, responsive and proactive from the very begining of contacting Chancellors.

Headington Branch is awful the customer service you receive is terrible made several enquiries about rental properties and one in particular i enqured was told not taking viewings at the moment and to call back in a week which i did to then be told it has already been let then to say they will put me on an update property list but never contact me about them and never answer the phone how this office is still open amazes me

Chancellors have been helpful in our search for a rented property in one of the most competitive areas to live in Oxford. Jude and Charlie were amazing in showing us around the properties and answering all the questions we had. Their communication and professionalism are on point, I would definitely use them again.

As a landlady I can only say that Chancellors Oxford totally suck when it comes to letting your property and have them manage it. There are so many people involved, and not a single one of them knows what the rest of them do. They are as useful as a chocolate teapot.
I myself would have given them the heave-ho a long time ago, but as the property is co-owned the person I share the ownership with keeps putting up with their complete incompetence, disinterest and bumbling.
The only time they get their skates on is when they want money!
They may be ok for people looking for a rental, but stay away from them when it comes to looking for an estate agent to deal with your rental and manage your property!
