I have been dealing with Matt at chancellors Lightwater. I would just like to say what a nice guy, very professional and if he says he will call you, he will, with no problem. Would recommend speaking to him if one is looking to buy in the area.

just a very hard agency to work with, no one calls back, booking viewings is near on impossible, properties advertised even when they are sold or off market, just waste of time

I gave Matt Carter a review once I'd received my offer, but having now completed it feels only right to write another. The work Matt has done since I accepted my offer has been the only thing that has kept this sale on course, and this work has probably been more difficult than the work to get me the offer! When parts of the chain have not been working at the same pace as us, he has chased to make sure things get back on track. His endless hard work included with up to date communication throughout has been comforting in what has been a stressful process. Thanks Matt! 5 stars isn't enough...

Efficient and professional service from start to finish.

Very pleased with service especially through this difficult time of having to deal with the various Covid precautions which have had to be contended with.

Our previous agent had failed to find a buyer for our house and never returned our calls. It was a complete waste of our time.

When we switched to Chancellors its was like night and day. Always courteous and helpful. When we left a message, we always got a callback.

We had on average 2-3 house viewings per week. We did have a couple of miscommunications regarding viewings but on the whole, we have had a very positive experience with Chancellors.

Georgina, Holly, Nisha and Matt were always very helpful and bent over backwards for us.

If I had one criticism for Chancellors as a business, it would be to send out email meeting invites for confirmed house viewings to avoid confusion. Outlook is a business standard in 2021 and the cost is negligible.

From the first meeting with a representative from Chancellors, we felt assured that the sale of our property was in safe hands with a friendly and trustworthy agency. Once a marketing price was agreed, the sale board was up in no time, and accompanied viewings of potential buyers started almost immediately.

The Agents were friendly and professional at all times and took responsibility to show all potential buyers around our property. Feedback from viewings were provided very quickly in a matter of hours providing us with an understanding of the viewers thoughts on the property and marketing price, which we found very helpful. Several offers were received in the first few weeks and one has now been accepted.

Whilst viewings continued, we looked for our own new property purchase, some of which were being marketed by Chancellors. Appointments were booked and an agent showed us around each one. The agent was easy to speak with; punctual for appointments and knowledgeable about each property, which was valuable to us in our decision making. Great Customer Service from all of the Chancellors team.

Chancellor’s Lightwater - awful experience. Poor communication from the staff throughout. The legal team are disgraceful, and only care about selling you ‘memberships’ and extras that you do not need. If you are a vulnerable person, staff will take advantage of you. Will be telling my family and friends to stay clear of all Chancellor’s. My colleague also had a bad experience with them recently - she is a first time buyer. Stay clear.

Having accepted an offer in a matter of days on my property of 29 years, I was very anxious to find a new home in the Windlesham/Lightwater area near family. Although there seems to be a real dearth of available properties at the moment, Georgina has solved my dilemma. She has been very professional and efficient, as well as friendly and approachable - and patient with me during this rather daunting exercise. We are not quite there yet, but I have every faith in Georgina's abilities to reach a successful conclusion. I would thoroughly recommend her skills and it is a pleasure to deal with her.

The Lightwater office of Chancellor’s provided the best service I’ve ever received from an Estate Agent. I actually felt they put the effort in to warrant their fee. House sold quickly, at a price that was completely in line with my expectations, in fact a little over. They were so much more professional than another company we looked at and discounted. We certainly made the right decision. EA’s are all about the people and the team that marketed and sold our home did a great job. This positive review not written lightly, they deserve it.
