Great service from the staff at Darlington. The staff were fantastic from unpacking our order to advising which shoe was the right size. They really deserve 5 stars for their customer relations. Will definitely shop there again.

Ordered a pair of Joseph Seibel sandals and received a mismatched pair with one clearly having been worn already. The name on the sole inside was barely legible and the colour was dulled. Got an apology from customer services who sent us free return label to print off at home. Had to the reorder a replacement pair, which had one sandal with looped stitching which looked likely to unravel. Phoned customer service again and they apologised and assured me they check shoes before sending out. Very poor quality control.

Ordering was easy, and my item arrived within a reasonable time. The company kept in touch. I was very pleased with my bag. It was inexpensive and a good match for a jacket I have.

I went to the Milton Keynes branch as a last hope in finding the right foot wear for my wide feet. Sheila the sales person was very helpful and patient in helping the to find the shoes that I was looking for. I left having purchased two pairs of shoes and a matching shoulder bag. I highly recommend Charles Clinkard for their wide choice of shoes and handbags and the excellent service.

I purchased a small Roka bag as a present. I knew exactly what it was like as I already had one for myself. The price was cheapest I could find and the bag is great quality.

I am a regular shopper & love Charles Clinkard - never had any issue at all. Deliveries are always prompt & items well packaged.

Have bought “Relax” leather mule slippers from Charles Clinkard for years. The company is very efficient, my orders arrive quickly and the slippers always perfectly wrapped in the box. Moreover I certainly wouldn’t keep buying the slippers if they weren’t so comfortable and long wearing!

If you want quality shoes, I'd shop elsewhere. I bought a pair of shoes for £95, after just 4 months of wearing them the soles came away from the upper making the shoes unwearable. They hadn't even been worn a lot, the treads on the soles had almost no wear yet. I inquired about a refund and was told that this was normal and expected wear and tear. I would very much hope any pair of shoes would last longer than 4 months, but especially ones which cost £95.

The staff also could use some customer service training as they weren't particularly polite or helpful.

What is happening to supplying quality shoes in non-branded boxes? I have been a customer of CC, specifically committed to buying a particular brand - boots, shoes and sandals for over 3 decades. Brand loyality, before it became a byword. I use the branded boxes for storage (so again sustainability before popular), also helps find the particular pair. I received the brand, with a note inside claiming if the branded box is not in sufficient condition, they will use CC own. I returned the order and chose to order, what I though was the brand's own site. Turns out somewhere in small print that it is CC - and again same sandals in CC box with a note making claim about condition of the brand box. If this is to be policy then should make it clear to the buyer. As a result loss of brand loyalty in a tough market, and won't buy from CC again. Put this information clearly and allow buyer to make the choice. Once could understand, but twice - not convinced.

The sandals were delivered by standard delivery within 3 days,the date expected.
They were in a strong cardboard shoe box.
The sandals were exactly as shown and described online.
I'll definitely shop online with Clinkard again.

I had a few problems ordering online so contacted Charles Clinkard by phone. Lady couldn’t have been more helpful. Order was quick & efficient - both pairs of sandals arrived fairly quickly and so pleased with them and the sale price, I kept both pairs.

Must admit Clinkard's are our favourite show shop. Great products and very helpful staff.
