very angry with this company

I am very angry with this company. Somebody got a hold of my information and used it for several places, this company being one of them. My debit cards were closed and issued new cards. $39.90 was taken out of my bank acct for this company. I called customer service and explained the situation and after having to argue with customer service, I was told that I would be receiving an email and that my money would be refunded. I never received the email so I called again and was told that my money was not going to be refunded. I am a full time college student and on a very fixed income, there's no way that I would sign up for anything, especially my credit score when my bank does that for me for free. Terrible company with terrible customer service.

Same as many comments

Same as many comments. Only one score. Did NOT sign up for $39.90 MONTHLY subscription. One week later, they did charge my credit card - at 2:50 AM. Thankfully, credit card fraud alert was issued immediately. Do not understand how/why this website is associated / affiliated with Experian.

Cancelation Horror

Inadvertently signed up and quickly canceled within minutes. I followed their confusing instructions and even paid a Cancelation fee $9.95 and then the daily horror of CFSC began with a daily transaction of $39.90 for the membership fee. I had to keep my Venmo balance at -0- to avoid this fee getting paid and this happened every day until 4/29 when I had to go online to their Website and cancel again. I requested a Cancelation fee refund but not holding my breath. They tried to debit Venmo daily, over 14 days. They go by CRSC, CheckFreeScore and SCRS. STAY AWAY.

Check Free Score has hit my credit card…SCAMMERS

Check Free Score has hit my credit card account for 1.00 on Feb 28, 2024 and I didn't notice it. My CC company just refused their follow-up SCAM charge of $39.90 today 04-07. I am going to call them today an attempt to find out HOW they secured my credit card number without my knowledge. I will follow up. BEWARE THESE SCAMMERS.
These people are thieves.

Used chat to cancel service.

This site does not have a cancel button. I used the chat feature then when they tried to take money from my account the bank backed me because I had a record of the chat and the confirmation they sent me saying it was cancelled. Although as the chat says I would receive a cancelation email which obviously never comes.

Anita and the whole damn system is a scam. They basically set you up and take money from you. If you see checkfreescore.com be very very careful. They took 40 dollars from me for nothing. I wish I could give them a negative rating.

I was under the impression that I was spending 1.00 for a one time look at my credit score

I was under the impression that I had to pay 1.00 to check my credit score.
Unbeknownst that I was going to be billed 39.90 a month there after.
I guess you have to read the fine print.
I am a very disappointed and dissatisfied customer.
This company must make good money on there scams.
The AI operator tried to keep me as a customer by cutting the rate to 16.00 a month then to 7.50 a month. But still billed me 39.90
My advice is don't ever use them. They suck

: I did get a real person today, I had to ask the A I operated 7 times for a supervisor. They said I am getting my refund in 5 to seven days. We will see.
Update..... I did not receive the money back yet as they promised.

I ordered free credit I was suppose to have 5 days before I’m billed 29.95. It took 2 minutes 45 seconds to charge me when I called to stop the charge the recording said I didn’t follow the plan and cancel within the allocated 5 days and the chance of getting my money back would be up to a manager and it took take up to 2 weeks for results.

Great big SCAM

To get a free credit report they get your credit card information to charge you $1 to prove you are who you say you are and then a week later you discover a charge for $39.90 for a membership that you didn’t sign up for and then when you call them they deny it and then refuse to refund you the money charged to your credit card! They lie about everything!

The $1.oo free report turns into annual fee

Agreed to pay only $1.00 for free credit report. This company waits days to then try to charge an annual subscription of $39.95. I only knew because CapitalOne contacted me regarding a fraud charge. When I called their fraud dept they said it was set as an alert as many of their customers have had the same experience with this 'company' when never agreeing to annual membership. This company has tried twice now. Feb 22 and Feb 27th. When you call this fraudulent company's number they never answer after ringing multiple times but the automated system does ask for a SSN to verify you before transferring to 'no one'. SCAM!!!!

I like most got rerouted to proceed with an loan application and it's free first then it's a dollar for 7 days. Next thing you know you scroll to the bottom of the page and somehow it's $9.94 a week? They aren't the only ones I had your scoreandmore.com as well as checkidentityiq all of them under the same guise. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

This company is clearly a deceptive lie. If you’re someone thats gotten your money taken by these people, from my experience the best way to get a refund is to immediately ask to speak to a supervisor and ask for contact with their legal team and a case number. Ignore the crap they say explaining why their service is so special and just skip to this. Its just a script we all heard. From my experience this got me an email supposedly confirming my refund for a charge i didn’t authorize. These people deserve jail time. Immoral criminals. Also i wish john luck with his case if you take these scumbags to court. Ill be speaking to my lawyer.

Scam

Scam! Illegal! Crooks! I tried to cancel multiple time since Sept 2023. These thieves will continue pulling money from your account even when you tell them to stop. If you don’t have my permission to take my money from my account you’re stealing. I hope everyone involved with this criminal enterprise gets locked up. Shameful and totally disgusting. “Supervisor David Smith employee number 731” total bs con artist and extremely rude. I look forward to receiving the transcript of our recorded call.
