I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the wonderful catering for Mum’s 90th birthday celebration.
The dinner was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by everyone. Dave was an absolute star throughout the evening — so professional, helpful and warm. He was a lovely character to have there and really added to the atmosphere and enjoyment of the occasion.

Communication throughout the enquiry and booking all the way to menu selection and event day was excellent. Darryl was faultless in his emails and calls to ensure all our needs were met and questions answered. Chef Dave did such a wonderful job of the birthday bbq food. Lots of guests watched and learnt tips and tricks wi the prep and cooking. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Everyone had full, happy bellies and would highly recommend Dave and Chefs compliments as a private chef company to everyone.

We had a wonderful experience with Chef's Compliments, super easy booking and food selection process. Catered very well for our dietary requirements and the food and service was amazing. Really generous portions and very tasty! Would certainly recommend and use again!

We have used Chef Compliments twice this year already, the first was a large family party indoors and the second was my husband's 50th birthday last weekend - 40 people BBQ. The Chef was both times exceptional - the food is fresh, delicious and looks amazing. The front of house staff is extremely well trained and as a result very professional. In both occassions Darryl, the leader of Chef Compliments responded to me very fast, kept in touch and ensured I had nothing to worry about. I received tons of options and advice to ensure the right choices were made. On arrival the Chef and front of hours staff were very fast at getting to know their way around our kitchen and cabinets - I really didn't have to worry about anything. I highly recommend Chef Compliments.

Beef Wellington was superb

We booked “Chefscompliments” for our big family birthday celebration at an Airbnb house in the middle of Exmoor! From beginning to end the whole experience was fabulous. Having never employed a private chef before it was a such a relief to work with Darryl who provided all the information we needed AND was happy to travel to the middle of Exmoor in the winter! Chef Dave was just brilliant, turning up in the middle of a storm, smiling and happily produced a five course special dinner for eight. The evening was a huge success with special memories made for all our family. Thank you Darryl and Dave!

Chef Henry cooked for 12 of us at a recent 60th birthday dinner.
Communication with Darryl was excellent from the beginning, and Henry also communicating his eta without any hassle.
After he left you wouldn’t have known he’d even been there it was so well cleared up.

We were lucky enough to win a chef to cook for us (and four guests) at home in a national competition. The whole experience was seamless, from the arrangements to the night itself.

Chef Dave was friendly, confident and so efficient. He cooked us a beautiful three course Middle Eastern meal. We are all food enthusiasts (and we didn’t mention it, but three of us run food businesses) and we were delighted with everything and felt thoroughly spoiled.

Darryl at Chefs Compliments was super helpful when we were deciding , providing various suggestions to enable the menu fitting of the occasion and suitable for our various allergy requirements and preferences.
Darryl also liaised with the rental house we were using to ensure Bonito had all necessary equipment.
Bonito arrived early so we knew we could relax and look forward to our banquet. He was really friendly and was great with children answering all their questions
Bonito was amazing the food he prepared was delicious and all the family loved it. From canape to dessert Bonito made it an unforgettable experience
Just to complete the evening Bonito cleared everything up afterwards leaving the kitchen spotless.

On Friday night we celebrated my sister's 50th Birthday. As a special treat we booked a private chef. It far exceeded our expectations. Our chef, Dave and his assistant Paula were lovely and went out of their way to make sure our meal was special. The food was wonderful, and we found it impossible to say which course we loved the best. We definately recommend Chefs Compliments and will book them again. Massive thanks to Darryl, Dave and Paula for making our meal so memorable.

Communication leading up to the event with Darryl was great and he put together a great menu which met all of our needs.

On the day Chef Dave was great, he communicated with us about what our expectations were and timings and the food did not disappoint at all. Especially his mushroom soup and his twist on a traditional apple crumble.

Everything was great and Chef Dave was so friendly, approachable and accommodating.

Chef Bonito was fantastic, very friendly. He went above and beyond our expectations, prepared extra food, which were delicious. The food was done excellently by Darryl the chef and being flexible when guests arrived late due to traffic conditions . All our guests complimented on the BBQ selection served , this was done with efficient service , from start to finish clearing up and ensuring to communicate well and friendly and respectful. Myself and girlfriends recently had the pleasure of experiencing a dinner prepared by chef Bonito and mixologist Asamatand it was nothing short of spectacular. From the very first interaction, their professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail stood out.

The food: Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavours. Every bite was memorable.

The drinks: The cocktails were not only expertly crafted but also tailored to our taste.

Beyond the food and drinks, what truly made the experience exceptional was their warm personality, seamless service, and passion for their craft. They created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and refined, allowing us to fully enjoy the evening.

The food chief Bonito served was made of love. The service was good, the food was full of flavours, it tasted amazing. Our Mixologist was great, kept our glasses filled up. The two went hand in hand. I couldn’t fault it the whole experience was just amazing. I would highly recommend recommend chef Bonito.👏🏾👍🏽

From the very beginning, Darryl was an absolute pleasure to work with. As my first point of contact at Chef’s Compliments, his communication was clear, timely, and incredibly thoughtful. He helped me plan a detailed menu for a party of six, taking into account everyone’s meal preferences and dietary needs. On the day, Chef Bonito and Mixologist Asamat delivered beyond expectations. They were both warm, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. The food was absolutely exquisite—perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and served with care. Every dish was a hit!
