I have had the same issues as others…

I have had the same issues as others here: the policy was transferred from HSBC, and both of the first 2 direct debit payments failed from Revolut bank. Now told I am being investigated over this, but they won't say why. Avoid if you can

Poor Customer Service Support.

I set up a direct debit to pay the insurance premium with Chesnara, but it failed in the first month. In the second month, the direct debit was also unsuccessful. However, I have used this bank account from IFAST Global for other purposes, and other companies have been able to collect payments from it without any issues.

As a result, I manually transferred the insurance premiums for the first two months. I then filed a complaint, but the response was not very helpful. It stated that “manual payments can only be accepted in exceptional circumstances and cannot be used as an ongoing payment method.”

It seems that Chesnara has made an exception in this case, but the tone suggests that the fault lies entirely with me. I originally purchased this policy when it was under HSBC UK Life, which has since been acquired by Chesnara.

If you were in my position, what would you do?
