I hate to even give 1 star

I hate to even give 1 star. Lifelong Chevy man, will never buy another one again after dealing with customer service and constant issues with 2018 Silverado . Pathetic customer service. Horrendous and embarrassing for the brand

"Terrible Service and Follow-Through at…

"Terrible Service and Follow-Through at Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet!"

I purchased a brand new 2022 Silverado Custom from Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet, and my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. At the beginning of 2024, I started experiencing jerking issues with the transmission. After multiple visits, the dealership finally identified the problem around May, pinpointing it as the "Transmission Valve / Part #GM19435579." They assured me the part would arrive in 2 to 4 weeks, but that was months ago. My last update was on 08/21/24 because I was there for an oil change.

Now, it’s November, and I haven’t received a single call or update about the status of the part. This delay is unacceptable, especially since the truck has under 36,000 miles and was covered by the bumper-to-bumper warranty at the time of diagnosis. As a General Contractor, I rely on my truck not only for transportation but also as an essential tool for my work. I have to limit my use of the vehicle, fearing it might leave me stranded—a major inconvenience and a safety concern.

This level of service, or lack thereof, is incredibly frustrating.

I am open to working with Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet to resolve this matter. However, if I don’t hear from them within the next week, I will escalate the issue by filing a complaint with the State Attorney General. I’m sharing this review on multiple platforms to raise awareness, as this is not the level of service customers should expect from a Chevrolet dealership.

I brought my vehicle into Premier…

I brought my vehicle into Premier Chevrolet for an oil change only to discover that it costs 121.00 plus tax

This service included tire rotation but they didn’t honor it because I have after market wheels

So not only have they raised the cost 30.00 they do less

While the service advisors do I great job, I would either do it myself or have someone other than Premier in Carlsbad CA do the service

WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND PUTS A DAMN PAIN CODE ON THE GLOVE BOX; WHEN OTHER CARS HAVE IT ON THE SIDE OF THE INNER DOOR! SPENT 30MINS LOOKING FOR IT! AND ITS UPSIDE TOO! Also their manual doesn't even indicate where to find paint information or where to find it on cruze cars. Definitely not user friendly

My 2021 Tahoe's breaks just disabled…

My 2021 Tahoe's breaks just disabled while driving the truck. I thankfully didn't kill the people (2 adults and 5 kids) in the car as we coasted to a stop. The truck was towed to a dealership who informed me they changed the battery and that is what makes the breaks disable. The Tahoe is NOT safe nor is it worth the money. Run as this company doesn't care about their customer nor their safety of their vehicles.

Do better than me & check out the reviews before buying!

WELL IF ANYONE IS READING THIS ANOTHER MONTH AS GONE BY WITHOUT ANY RESULTS & THIS IS MY 2ND REVIEW FOR SERVICE CHEVROLET & CADILLAC ON AMBASSADOR CAFFERY. I BOUGHT MY TRUCK A 2023 & STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS IN NOVEMBER OF 2023. IT APPEARS THAT IF A LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON IT’S THE CUSTOMERS FAULT “BUT” THIS IS HOW I FEEL BECAUSE THIS DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE-I FEEL HELPLESS-THE ONLY THING I DID WRONG WAS TO GO TO THE WRONG DEALERSHIP. I’VE BEEN LEAD TO BELIEVE THAT A FUEL VALUE IS ON BACK ORDERED SINCE MARCH OF THIS YEAR & THE SERVICE DEPT IS “HOPING” THIS WILL SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE DEALERSHIP HAD AMPLE TIME TO FIX THIS PROBLEM-THERE ARE 2 VEHICLES IDENTICAL TO MY VEHICLE & SINCE THEY WON’T ADMIT I WAS SOLD A LEMON I GUESS THEIR THINKING I WILL BE QUITE “NOT”. ALSO I DON’T WANT AN EMAILS THANKING ME FOR MY PATIENCE-BELIEVE ME MY PATIENCE IS GONE!! I WANT & NEED RESULTS NOW!!

I wanted to share my awful experience…

I wanted to share my awful experience with customer service and how horribly I was treated after purchasing a BRAND NEW 2024 Chevy Trax.
Less than a week after buying this brand new car the function of opening the trunk had stopped working. It was an electrical malfunction, no one could access the trunk. I had 5 Chevrolet workers all at the same time trying to figure it out. There was no emergency latch, nothing.
Well they ordered a part and had said they will try fixing by replacing the part.
After reaching out after 2 months of waiting for the part to come in they had “heard nothing”.
I was told it would be fixed in 3 months max. After 6, close to 7 months the part finally came in. And no one reached out to me throughout the whole process to let me know what was going on. The WORST communication I have ever experienced.
I later on dealt with customer service because I wasn’t satisfied with how I was treated and it took another 6 MONTHS to receive points after being declined many times.
They are a SELFISH COMPANY that doesn’t care about their customers. It is not fair how much time and stress that I was put through. To not be granted any sort of reasonable reimbursement for those 6 months I was unable to use my vehicle.
And the quality of their vehicles and not great either. After buying a brand new car, having technical problems. And not to mention there was a recall on it 3 months after they were sold.
Not satisfied, my family has purchased cars from them for years now. But I NO LONGER recommend them and I will continue to share my experience with everyone I know before they decide to do business with this AWFUL company

Bad Transmission & Bad Customer Care Service

I decided to pay my Chevy Silverado off as my Christmas gift to myself. So I shelled out over $28,000 in December and right after Christmas the transmission went out. Extended warranty told me the trucks are known for the problem and didn't cover it. Chevrolet's customer care agent whom the issue was assigned avoided us like a plague. We called and emailed many many times for many days and talked to so many others there except him. He was always unreachable even through their connections and they would insist you deal with J#### and make excuses for his unavailability. He only called twice and left a message stating he called. You could hear the birds tweeting in the background of his recording as he relaxed with no intention of picking up the returned calls as they were immediately returned. He did not care. The intent was to have you give up seeking support!! Well Done. $$ Money & Time Down the Drain dealing with Chevrolet!! Trash Truck & Trash Service....

LOU BACHRODT CHEVROLET

LOU BACHRODT CHEVROLET
I called to have warranty work done on my 2023 Camaro. The person who answered needed my name spelled 3 times, and each letter sounded out. The name was still spelled incorrectly. They took down each warranty issue (incorrectly). I arrived for the 8 am appt. The service advisor assigned doesn't start work until 8:30. Another person took down my issues and corrected what was sent to him. About 9 am the assigned service advisor called me and I had to again correct the list of issues I reported. She stated it would take 4-5 days to diagnose ONLY my issues. "Unfortunately," I would have to pay for a rental car during that time. AFTER the diagnosis they MIGHT pay for a rental car as the repairs are being completed.

Unacceptable. I wrote off my wasted morning and frustration and picked up my car. There is no logic in buying a $40k+ car and then having to pay to rent a car when the new one is defective! I traded up to avoid these type of issues/costs.

Their address would be a great place to open a service center.

My brand new 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500…

My brand new 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500 broke down in Fayetteville AR. This truck only had 34,813 miles on it. Come to find out General Motors does not manufacture this part #MC5156. We called all over the country looking for this part. We found it at Gunn Chevy in Selma TX 588 miles away. I was told multiple times the part was shipped. GM customer services, said GM will cover all costs associated with this shut down, that took 10 days to go less than 600 miles. (But only 15 minutes to install) Total out of pocket $1021.77 Plus Drivers lost wage Of $2500 Lost revenue of $10,000 I have yet to see a dime. Chevy offered me $700, LMAO. I lost almost $14,000 due to GM lack of building me a vehicle that was dependable like I was promised when I bought a $100,000 truck.

Yellow Flag for all cabin air filters even if you changed recently

I went to Don Hewlett Authorized Chevrolet Service 1 week ago for my oil change. They asked me about a fuel system maintenance, I rejected it. And they came to me with a passenger cabin filter issue. It was around $40 and I told them "Let's change it" and they changed. Yesterday I went there to change one of my tires. They changed it and service rep brought me a paper that shows there is a warning about my passenger cabin filter. I went there today to ask this. Because we changed it last week and it doesn't make sense to change it every week like fill our gas. They started an offensive talk and I left from there. I'm sure they write same filter issue to each car that they enter their service without checking it. Because yesterday I was there for only a tire change. And I don't think anyone who change tire checks cabin air filter. Be careful. And Chevrolet HQ doesn't care about this kind of problems. They always say "Go and talk to them"

2015 chevy trax LT AWD

Bought a 2015 chevy trax LT AWD w/66k milage from Carvana in Jan 2022. Car was stopped at inspection before it even arrived as front tires were worn and needed to be replaced. Car was nothing but a money pit. Jan a year later had to replace engine ignition coil $680 of work and cleaning. Last September $460 for manifold absolute pressure sensor, air filter, diagnostics. Then in Oct thermostat and housing $485, new battery $120, valve cover assembly, replace valve cover $430. Car now has 108k miles and broke down with a massive oil leak from head gasket seal, drive belt and tensioner. Needs new brakes, rotors and calipers. This car had a $450 problem every 3 months. I regret ever buying this. I had to abandon it, couldn't keep up with the payments, repairs and maintenance costs, had to resign at work.

I had 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2

I had 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. I bought this vehicle as a Demo with 2500 kms in 2018.
At approximately 40km, it started clunking in the rear end. At 50000 km, which is extremely low mileage, it was determined that all four OFFROAD MULTIMATIC SHOCKS were leaking.
JIM GAUTHIER CHEVROLET in Winnipeg Manitoba told me to put a claim in to GM Canada... I did, and within a week, was advised that I won.
9 weeks later, I haven't seen a dime.
I incurred this on a brand new truck which I purchased from GAUTHIER. I was told by my sales person, Quinn to put in a claim.... Quinn and I made a deal for just over $36000 for my 2017 ZR2. I settled for $29000 to get the deal done....IN GOOD FAITH.
GM CANADA advised that I won my claim....Now I'm hearing that they want to pay $4000, a far cry from almost $8000 that I added to my new vehicle.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS!
I've hired a Lawyer and am wanting costs and interest. I will go to the end of my days to get what's mine.
Beware buying anything GMC OR CHEVROLET. STAY AWAY FROM JIM GAUTHIER in Winnipeg.
Ps....I'm going to all media outlets if this isn't settled within a couple of days.... BALLS IN YOUR COURT.
GARBAGE COMPANY!
STAY AWAY.........

Had a cracked sidewall on my tire

Had a cracked sidewall on my tire. Looked in the trunk and there was no spare tire! All I found was an air pump and some gel to temporarily fix the tire. News flash; You can’t patch a sidewall blowout with a lousy repair kit. Why did these clowns stop putting spares in their vehicles? Mine’s a 2016 Malibu Limited. The amount of BS that I had to endure over this issue was monumental. Chevrolet must be run by complete imbeciles anymore. Must be all the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion BS that they’re forced to go along with because of Blackrock.
