Highly disappointed in this company
Highly disappointed in this company! Went with Leslie’s Pool Supply instead of other options when ordering a $1000 filter replacement since they were supposed to be a good company. New filter arrived with the top damaged. Talked to customer service, provided photo of damaged item and asked for a replacement part (again, only needed the top). Was initially told to ship entire filter back by FedEx at my expense or take to a Leslie store (which is not nearby) and when they processed the return, they would ship out the new one. I asked to speak to a manager and was then informed they could provide a shipping label but even if I sent them a copy of the return, they would still not ship the replacement until the return was received and was processed. I still do not understand why they couldn’t just ship me a replacement top. Their replacement ‘process’ would delay my pool opening by at least 2 weeks.
I ended up sending the filter back and requested a full refund. I have ordered the filter from another store and it will ship out to me today.
Disappointing Experience with Warranty…
Disappointing Experience with Warranty Service - Leslie's Cape Coral
We purchased a Polaris pool cleaner from the Leslie's Pools location at 1715 Cape Coral Pkwy W (next to Lobster Lady) for approximately $1,600.
After only a few months of ownership, we returned the unit for warranty service. Unfortunately, the process was extremely frustrating. When we went to pick up the cleaner, we were presented with a different unit that appeared significantly older, worn, and faded--nothing like the newer machine we originally brought in.
During the visit, I also observed multiple Polaris cleaners in the back of the store awaiting service, which raised additional concerns about handling and turnaround.
We have since escalated the issue to corporate and are currently working through their review process and Anthony Hatch with Risk Management (602)635-0941 denied my request.
Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend confirming warranty procedures and documentation before purchasing, and carefully verifying any equipment returned after service. If you think Leslies is going to be in your corner if they sell you a bad product your mistaken.
Leslie's just lost a good customer for life!
I challenge anyone to ChatGPT Leslies pools in Fort Myers and Cape Coral without comes with Polaris Pool Cleaners. You will find something much bigger is going on behind closed doors.

Bad advise , No service
I ordered a pool pump online . I went on a Chat with a live customer service representative. I told them what I needed and asked if the pump I was looking at was the right one. They said YES. it was shipped to me in November. We had a lot of cold weather so by time I had it installed it was over a month. It was installed and wouldn’t prime , there was a crack in the basket. May have happened in shipping. Leslie basically said TOO BAD it’s past the 30 day return window. I finally got Hayward to convince them to exchange it, in March. Pool tech came back to install, now I find out it’s the wrong pump for my pool , so from the beginning, I should have given the correct pump advisement. Now I have a $450 pump which is useless. All due to misinformation from Leslie’s. MY advise : don’t buy from Leslie’s go on Amazon . They stand behind purchases and have an option to buy inexpensive extended warranty
Selling old stock
Bought a Nidec variable pool pump motor today Friday April 24th 2026 I noticed a shipping label on the box for 2024 upon research and calling Nidec the manufacturer date code was 2020. Manufacturer said they would not warranty according to the date code. The pump has been upgraded with new software for the later models. Leslie's is selling old stock items. NOT HAPPY
Poor quality in-ground pool cover; useless warranty, bad customer service
I usually purchase pool supplies from a local Leslies store because it is convenient, and I like the staff; but I ordered a pool cover from Leslies on-line last November because it was easy. Covers are usually good for two or three years, as evidenced by past use; but the cover I received from Leslies proved to be deeply flawed as it allows subsurface water to pass through the cover membrane and pool on the surface.
This makes the product useless because the purpose of a pool cover is to contain ponded rainwater so that it can be pumped to a drain and prevent contamination of the pool water, and to ensure that the stagnant surface water puddles are not available for mosquitoes to breed,
A pool cover is a rather low tech, simple product that needs only to maintain impermeability to fulfill its intended purpose; If it cannot do that, which is easy enough to ascertain, it is of no value for any other purpose.
Well, it is beyond comprehension that Leslies management would deny replacement of an obviously ineffective product, and then offer me a discount to repurchase a replacement for the same product that is likely to exhibit the very same flaws. How stupid would I have to be to take them up on that offer?
Beware of trading with an institution that hasn't quite grasped the meaning of customer satisfaction or vendor responsibility. What you get on the small stuff, you can fully expect on the big stuff.
Less than one star service or administration.
I only left one star because there is nothing less to rate the service. Had a scheduled appointment for a service call and received verification email. Company specified that service would take place between noon and 5 p.m. waited all day, no contact, attempt to call, recording says 'closed'. Skip the headache and frustration...go to Pinch-A-Penny or somewhere else. ANYWHERE BUT HERE !
In short
In short, wrong spa cover delivered miles away to an unknown address, found a note in my mailbox from the resident, went to pick up the cover, it had been laying on a rain soaked driveway for days, removed what was left of the cardboard to discover a wrong color and size cover. Contacted Leslie’s pool… after several days they responded that they wanted pictures with measurements and tag photos of the cover sent to them to confirm the wrong cover which I did. Several days later they confirmed it was the wrong cover and if I would contact there freight company to arrange a pickup time, which I did.
I asked about the delivery of my order, several days later Leslie’s said they couldn’t locate it, and they asked me to repackage the wrong cover for shipping which I did using my own materials and time.
I asked Leslie’s pool for a new timeframe for my order and I thought a discount would be in order for the issues we’ve been having only to be informed they don’t offer discounts because their prices are so low they couldn’t turn a profit and couldn’t give me a timeframe for my purchase. Ok, so my refund? They wouldn’t refund my purchase until the wrong cover (that I repackaged using my materials and time) was received at their store.
This took place from 10/2/25 thru 12/12/25
Customer service is hit or miss
Customer service is hit or miss; we've had really good experiences and not so good. Pricing used to be good, but I can find it cheaper from other online retailers.
Horrible experience with bought bigger…
Horrible experience with bought bigger heat for our pool and barely heat the water in the summer, 6 months in the term and leak and they want to charge $280 for visits and is under garanty, I never go back there ,the unit was $5000 Raypack R 6450
Great experience!
I was nervous after seeing the reviews but I have zero complaints! Excellent communication, fast delivery of my hot tub cover and everything was as expected. I reached out to customer service and they were very helpful. I got the cover in just under 2 weeks from the order date and full 4 weeks early!
Buyer Beware
I ordered a winterizing ball a few months ago with some other items. I finally needed it and when I opened the package there were no chemicals in the ball, just an empty plastic ball. I contacted customer service and they told me their website states they do not warranty chemicals. So even though the item I received was damaged and completely empty they told me there was nothing they would do.
I will never order from them again.
Do not order from this company online
Do not order from this company online. If you need product from them, go to the store. I placed an order weeks ago that their system never accepted however they collected payment from me for the order. I had to pursue resolution of this personally by calling in. I was assured that all three of the products that I ordered would be shipped to my house. One by one the first two arrived and I had to reach out to them to find out that the third one had been lost. They refunded money to my account but they did not refund enough for me to purchase The product again. They then broke off communication with me and when I called in they insisted that resolution was complete despite the fact that I was left unwhole. Stay away!
No sure who to slam with this rating so…
No sure who to slam with this rating so I will divid him up in item quality and follow up. I purchase a Jacuzzi Pool Pump thinking I was matching up to a Jacussi Filter. I did this thinking I would have less concerns. Whoops did I make a mistake. Turns out their is NO brand integrity and what you get is on you. I have a pool pump that has been and issue from day on. So to be brief because no really read long growls. The Jacuzzi Pump really a Hayward Pump failed first year. The issue was determined to be the motor and after more hours than count I carried it down 75 miles to the local Leslie's Pool store to have them determine the issue. Then Hayward shipped the new motor (my word) to me to have it installed by a pool expert (My Money). Next summer same issue all over again accept now we have more issue each and every step of the way. The whole summer wasted. Now we have a pump that will not pump unless I push the water through with a pipe clearing bladder. The bad side of the is the pump running with out water cooling it heating up to the point of it burning up and catching fire. Enter the question if it has failed the second time it must be the pools side and not the equipment side. Okay lets go there. Day one bump is taken out of box incomplete, it missing the connection fitting. Delay number 1 and my supplier (who I purchased from) Leslie's Pool agrees to send me the part which I have to pay for since there is no way it is there fault or their suppliers. Year one the pump starts have issues. Finally it is determined I need to take it to the closes Leslie's Pool store and after 4 days of sitting on their hands then determine it is exactly what I and my rather expensive pool service tell them the issue it. Ten days latter the pool motor arrives and I get my expensive but knowledge pool service back to install the motor. Lets cut the issue down to something less than a novel. I would estimate between the install and service calls this pump has cost me north of $2000 in cost and service calls. The sad part is I an my wife have only been able to use the pool 6 times in 2 years. I don't care if its on Jacuzzi(Product purchase), Hayward (Manufacturer) or the seller Leslies Pool this is still a mess the end user should not be subject too. So to this end I am going to copy this post to each.

They suck - Bad installation, Defective product, Wouldn't accept return
Purchased pump from Leslies and had them install it prior to 4th July weekend. Prior pump was working but was loud, so had I any idea they would install a defective pump and then refuse to come back and fix it I never would have scheduled their service. However once they installed it they said to wait 24 hours before use. I asked them if they tested it to verify it worked, they said they didn't but they were sure it was OK. The next day July 3rd, I turned it on it had very low pressure then it overheated and shut down. I called but they said they were 'booked' and couldnt come back until sometime the next week. Of course couldn't use the pool the entire 4th weekend and it will take days after they finally come to clean all the algae in the water. I could not speak worse of this experience or this company
Leslies pools are horrible
I purchase above ground pool from this place leslies I notice water leak from the pool out so I call customer service some where in India the guy mentioned that the liner was under warranty so send pictures and the manufacture want picture of the separation I don't have a camera water proof and they want me to cover 30% of the price bad investment the the liner is so thin feels like plastic bag from the supermarket
Never again
Never again! These people are clueless about everything they do and no one seems to like their job. I've ordered several parts to be delivered and the last one came for pickup at the store in a store box with a shipping label slapped on it, beaten and damaged. They handed it to me like there was nothing wrong, with gaping hole in the box and the end accordianed very badly. The unit didn't work properly and now I'm going through an ordeal to deliver it back to them without advance replacement before I can get what i purchased. Then, they send me a review link to tell them how they did and it goes to Ooops, something didn't work right message. These people are just ridiculous to deal with. There's too many other pool companies who actually care about their customers and won't do this to them. Not shopping here again!
