Who would have thought I would have spent this much on my girls! The Automatic Door Opener has allowed my hens to come out earlier and spend more time outside than if I was to manually open their door. I have seen homemade products that look like they would take some maintenance. Recently I have seen a new product in the U.S., however it requires electricity rather than batteries, which would not work on my property. This door opener was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to install and calibrate.

I placed an order 16th Jan 2014 and my credit card was charged on 17th Jan for £196 it is now the 21st Feb and still haven't received the order! When ordering I paid extra for the order to be delivered within 8 days when it didn't arrive I telephoned to ask what had happened. I was informed that part of the order was a special stock item & wasn't in stock until the following week. I explained that I had paid extra postage for the order to be delivered within 8 days & was informed that I had paid for the item to be delivered to me ASAP as soon as it had been delivered to them. After trying to explain further that this is not what I had paid extra for I was asked abruptly if I would like to cancel the order!! We have now emailed the firm twice this last week & received an acknowledgement to say that both emails have been received but I am yet to receive a reply. In hind site I wish to goodness I had cancelled the order & bought elsewhere!! Terrible service and very poor customer relations.

on the 6th january i received the following misleading mail

We spoke to the company on friday and they have informed us they are in a shipping container on their way to them so should be with us i would say next week to be safe, hopefully they will receive them in the next few days and then they will be sent straight out to us.

I ordered a chicken feeder and drinker on the 26th December. Allowing for the holidays we expected to have received the items by now 11th Jan. We have emailed twice with no responses. We have tried to call and there is no answer.

Update: I have been contacted and informed there will be a weeks delay for delivery. I will update again when I receive the items.

UPDATE: Items received, so they got there in the end, if they had communicated the delay or shown the items as out of stock I would have been happier though.

Im stuck with a VSBi unit that doesn't and has never worked .The company told us to send light sensor back which we did (They said they had received it the one time they answered phone)Despite their promises they have not replaced it and are now not replying to emails,phone,Facebook message.Have also tweeted but still waiting.
It looks as though there have been other comments on TP of similar problems but unfortunately have only seen them now.Very disappointed.

Having purchased a competitor's version previously which was cheaper but failed after a few weeks and needed exchanging not once but three times, I bought this and have not had a single problem with it. It arrived quickly and works exactly as it should. I no longer worry about my hens being locked in or worse still locked out- totally reliable.

Prompt delivery. No problems whatsoever. Great customer service.

I use the infrared bulbs to keep my guinea pigs warm. They are good quality and always delivered quickly.

Ordered this as to be honest it is the only one on the market but I'm very pleased. Excellent quality, easy to assemble and looks good too. Quick delivery as well. Would definitley order from here again.

The feeder itself is fine - works well and the girls got used to it immediately. The issue is the plastic bracket which is screwed into a wall with 4 screws and plugs. The plastic arm keeps popping out on one side which makes the feeder fall off and when the feeder is attached, you can see it making the arms twist so not sure how long it will last for. A metal bracket would be much better, or a second bracket for the top section to spread the force.

FIRST TAKING MY MONEY AND NOT FORFILLING MAY ORDER OF MORE THEN TWO THIRDS IS STILL OUT STANDING.
HAVING COMPLAINED ON ACTION IS TAKEN ON THE BOXES WITH SAID MAGGOTS

Ordering was easy and item was received 48 hrs later. Will be purchasing from again in the future..
