Purchased two Hampshire Cream / Ivory Painted Oak bedside cabinets on line. They were delivered the next day. Arrving well packaged and all in good order. Great customer service, from Daria, Kirsten and Carley. We had initial problems with delivery, not the fault of chiltern, but that of DPD. They said we were not in for delivery, total lie!!!!!. Seamless ordering and delivery.only problem I had was the dimensions of the item don’t quite measure up with the website.

We were looking for a nest of tables and the website showed that two were available in stock, so we ordered one. We then received an email telling us that it was actually out of stock and asking if we would like to wait for stock to come in, in about 4 weeks. We said yes, but no-one contacted us so after 4 weeks, we emailed Chiltern Oak Furniture to find out when we would receive the item. Only then were we told that the item was no longer available, so we waited 4 weeks for nothing. We didn't want a substitute item, so asked for compensation for the inconvenience - and were ignored. Wouldn't use this company again.

Helpful people on phone, easy ordering, prompt delivery and little cupboard well packaged. Cupboard exactly as described and true to photo. Perfect for our small hallway with a basket each for shoes!

Very impressed with the packaging of this bedside table. All corners protected and very well packed, as a result arrived in perfect condition. Item was exactly as described, very pleased.

I was told by email when I made my order ‘You will be contacted in due course by our delivery team directly at least 48 hours before delivery, usually via text message, advising the exact date and a 3-hour time slot.’ This did not happen. I received a text message on 14/06/23 at 7am advising that the delivery would take place in 1 hour which gave me no time to move the existing wardrobe out of the way which I would have done with 48 hours advanced warning. I was late for work because I hadn’t been able to book time off which I would have done if I had received notice 48hours before like I was supposed to. The text message also had the incorrect order number so I believed it to be a scam. I am not happy with this service at all and would not recommend using this company if you would like any communication before delivery

Furniture arrived damaged. Insufficient and poorly packed. We then had to wait a week for the Furniture to be collected and start the refund process. There was then a lack of communication between chiltern oak and novuna finance for the agreement to be cancelled and then another 4 weeks before I received my deposit refund. The Furniture is made in China to poor standard.

First and only time ordering from this company. Wooden TV stand received damage on both occaisions and in the same places. The product clearly not well built. Having to wait until delivery company come back again and collect the faulty item to their warehouse before I am refunded not good enough.

Purchased 2 items which were in stock online. Then got an email telling me they weren’t in stock after all. Annoying. Then was told despite them taking my money the instant I placed the order, I’d now have to wait 3-10 days for my refund! Appalling customer service. I bought a Hampshire ivory painted oak wardrobe from Chiltern oak furniture (online furniture UK Ltd). The website states that SOME assembly is required. Do not be fooled, this is a flat pack that needs two people to assemble it. The company have told me that as the door section is pre built and the doors do not have to be hung, the wardrobe only needs some assembly. The doors are out of alinement and one is stuck. There are well over fifty screws to put in. Some of the holes are not in alinement, the Allen key provided is not up to the job. Because this item stated some assembly I assumed that I would not need the assembly service that is offered at an extra cost. I kept the wardrobe but will never use this company again because the wording was misleading to me. Not worth the money.
