Good but not outstanding

When I put in my claim it seemed to be an easy case of my watch has broken, here’s the solution. However, I applied online initially and then heard nothing until I rang a week later. I was told I had to turn off Find My on my phone (for my watch) before they could continue, so that’s what I did and heard nothing until I rang back a week later!! When I rang back all was sorted in that phone call, but it should have been sorted without me having to phone again to chase it!
The replacement was sent to DPD and then the next problems arose! As DPD had to collect my old one and then give me my new watch, this was not convenient to them (but I will complain to them) so it took another 6 days to get my watch!
Overall, my experience with Chubb was good but not outstanding. I should not have had to chase up my claim to get it moving.

Not good value

The claim itself didn't process the first time and I had to call in. Chubb handled the call well when it was eventually processed, but the whole experience starting from the EE website was very cumbersome and not in the least intuitive. I have now cancelled the insurance policy as I could have purchased a refurb phone for the price of the excess.
