Shocking communication on serious matters.

I had a really positive experience selling my house with CJ Hole. A special shoutout to Julie, the Sales Progressor, who was fantastic throughout the whole process. She acted as the go-between for me, my solicitor, the buyers, and their solicitor, always chasing things along and keeping everything moving. I received weekly updates, so I always knew what was happening, and thanks to Julie’s hard work we completed much sooner than I expected. Excellent service – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CJ Hole.

David and Pascha have been nothing short of amazing from start to finish! From having our property valued to getting it listed, the process was made very easy and stress-free. We did encounter a few issues with the solicitors in the chain, but without David and Pascha's continued help and support, it would not have been possible. CJHole is very professional, and their customer service is second to none! I would highly recommend them. Thank you David.

If I could give zero stars, I would. AVOID AT ALL COST. CJ Hole is criminally incompetent and cost us thousands in legal fees. Their reputation precedes them! My partner and I rented a property from CJ Hole and our experience was horrific. We viewed the flat while works were still ongoing, promised that issues would be fixed. We entered the tenancy for £1250 PCM to find that the flat was still in a complete state of disrepair. CJ Hole made a pathetic effort to remedy the countless issues with the property and rebutted all of our claims. For 4-5 winter months (Nov-Mar), we were without heating, resulting in significant mould and damp. Our bed frame, mattress, and loads of priceless personal positions were completely ruined by this. The extractor hood above the cooker was poorly fitted and hit my partner on the head when it detached from the wall. Several other issues... CJ Hole was continually slow to reply and on occasion, outright refused our urgent requests to have things fixed. Our property manager Marisha should be struck off for her lack of duty and care. 4-5 months of living in abhorrent conditions, personal positions destroyed - an absolute shambles that ended up in a legal dispute. Utterly disgusting.

CJ Hole Downend were absolutely fantastic. They were supportive and helpful throughout our buying and selling process- and also sold our house in a week! Brilliant service and great communication from all of their agents especially the after sale agent. I would 100% recommend them for a smooth house sale.

We dealt with them as a buyer in 2018. It was a threadbare, do-the-absolute-minimum service that perhaps wouldn’t have been quite so painful if the management didn’t earnestly believe they are the best estate agency in the world, and continuously sound off about it. Even when you ring the branch, you have to listen to a recorded voiceover telling you how fabulous they think they are. Well, here's how it actually went. Our contact for viewing was a kid with close to zero knowledge of the area, the street, or the house — in fact, anything about houses, the way they‘re built, what a buyer might look for, etc. We had 20 minutes for this viewing. When we booked a second viewing, the (marginally) more senior colleague was no better and also allowed barely 20 minutes for a supposedly more thorough viewing of a 4-bed semi. Their 'sales progression' team consisted of no more than a woman giving us the occasional nag to do what we were doing anyway. The electrician they recommended for an inspection was (in hindsight, predictably) terrible. Even at key handover they were just going through the motions, handed us a bottle of cheapish wine with their own label/branding on it and a card not addressed to anyone with a dozen hastily scrawled signatures in it…again covered in their self congratulatory branding. Oh and a week after we moved in came a flyer suggesting we use their services to now sell the house we’ve just bought. Bravo, CJ Hole. If you didn’t keep masquerading your supposed glories, perhaps such mediocre service would be more tolerable.
