Why can't I give CleverBridge a Zero review?
Why can't I give a Zero review? I've been several days, trying to get someone to resolve a double-charge for CCleaner. I had one Activation Key, but two emails. Looks like 2 accounts? Yet, when I canceled one account (future auto charges only, no money back yet), turns out I only have one account. Is Cleverbridge a scam? Very disappointed customer. I won't be using Ccleaner any longer. I'll find any other apps I'm using (MalwareBytes?) and dump them as well. This is not service.

I used to think this was an excellent company. Not any more. I paid for the professional cleaner but they removed these benefits a month ago. I assumed, wronly, that my subscription had expired. Not so. They emailed me today with a renewal for the end of Jan '26 and said this would be my only reminder!
How difficult is it for them to send one in a month's time? They are a tech company.
I sent a polite and detailed reply to that email. It bounced back.
How other people praise the customer support is beyond me. There is none. Probably a robot somewhere if you can be bothered looking for an email address.
So much for customer loyalty.

The customer support team was outstanding. I accidentally ordered the wrong product and emailed them for assistance. Within an hour, they responded and clearly explained how they would resolve the issue. Everything was handled quickly, professionally, and with great communication. I especially appreciated being able to chat with a real person.
Personalized service
I had the pleasure of interacting with Romel in a very frustrating and troubling case. I was charged on a subscription (Parallels Desktop) when my account on Parallels showed no such subscription (only expired subscriptions). I had little success contacting Parallels (no human contact, only forms with no replies to submissions / AI chatbots). After understanding my case and the bind I was being put in with Parallels, Romel & Cleverbridge extended the generous exception to refund my transaction (even though by default only vendors can refund transactions). The entire process of dealing with Cleverbridge was extremely personal and understanding. All I can say is I hope all my online transactions ended up clearing through them. They gave me a lot of peace of mind ... what it was was a feeling of a big guy (Cleverbridge) looking out for the interests and understanding the specifics of the situation of the little guy (me). Who would have thought I'd be feeling so positive about a middle-man payment processor .... but they went well above and beyond!! Even before their decision to refund the transaction from their end, I felt heard when going through my situation. And after, receiving the surprise email from them reversing the transaction was quite the year end gift :)

I tried in vain to cancel my subscription to CCleaner. Finally I gave up and found no other way than to cancel my payment card. Since then I receive an email every day asking me to update my payment method. The support consists of a chat bot that asks if I want to disclose the reason for canceling the subscription. When I answer "no, just cancel my subscription", I am offered a 20% discount because I am a valued customer. I repeat my wish to cancel my subscription. As I continue typing, the chat is closed...
